We need to find that ruthlessness to create and score more chances and try and keep the ball as well. It will be difficult though but we constantly look like we are improving our style of play. Need to play as well against the big teams as the small teams though. Still think Dortmund should of walked this 5-0, Joe Hart omg what a game.

True but if they use the ball well, then you could have long spells without it in useful areas. I prefer our current style of football now tbh anyway!

Its a good style to play but if the other team uses the ball effectively like Barca/Spain then your gonna be chasing for a while.

Tbh this thread should be about Petr Cech, he really is that crucial player. Great saves vs Arsenal and that one tonight. Has been doing it for years now. All the attacking midfielders will get the claims but when the defence is in trouble Cech usually bails them out!

He was linked with a move to Swansea, barely a top European club. Overrating him a bit just because he played good tonight. If any other young player had played that good against us you would of said exactly the same........

We were extremely lucky Cech pulled of that amazing save and Luiz saved our bacon with that freekick. Took the stuffing out of them, they were growing and growing in the game, if they weren't as bad in the final third I firmly believe they would of drew/beaten us. THERE IS ALWAYS ONE!!! He played a good game against us so what? Hes got to do it continuously in his league to get noticed..... if we said that every game we'd end up with about 20053050 players who we don't need/aren't good enough....

Yes but the 4-3-3 was also a great formation for Lampard, Makelele, Robben, Duff, Gudjohnsen, Malouda, Anelka, Ballack, Deco etc as well... they could all play in it. Its better having 11 players who can play in the same system rather than 1. Anyway they are professional footballs so they should be able to adapt.

Usually a formation is made to suit the team rather than one individual player. If we want to just use the formation to get the best out of Eden Hazard lets play a 9-1-0.......

Give the kid some time, hes 21 and has played 3 or 4 games in the PL. What were yous expecting, a hattrick each game and 8 assists so far or something?

You cannot say because we are Chelsea FC that we will automatically win every game. Look at last season we got beat by QPR and West Brom who we should be beating, drew with Genk and Birmingham... where the same applies. Also Brighton turned us over in pre-season as did that MLS team. You only deserve to win if you outplay the opposition on the match day though, which we clearly didn't in them games so assuming we will beat them no matter what is ridiculous. Nordsjaelland will be fearless as is this is there first time in the CL so they will probably just try and beat us the fact we are also holding champions makes us a target too. We have to do a professional job and beat them. Not just look at them and hope they lose the game for us.

I still don't think he is the man the club wants. He got his tactics spot on today but had he started with that team at the start of the season we'd have more points imo.
