  1. Wouldn’t matter who he brought, both are Strasbourg players and both probably not the calibre needed for a number 1 CF. Emegha’s goal record for his time in France is pretty decent prior to his injury. As is Panichelli’s. And in all fairness, I have huge dislike for Winstanley & co but it is not like Panichelli is going to end up at any other big club is it? We own Strasbourg so its a 99% certainty if he is to move it will be here, no? 😂🤨
  2. Jury still out on Penders, Quenda & Emegha to we see them in a Chelsea shirt. Think a lot of people are in for a shock if they think they will bring anything different/more quality than what we already have. A lot of potential perhaps (as usual) but they won’t be the difference. Agree though with the sales, barring Neto (frustrating because he could be so much better but he just doesn’t have that bit between his teeth) & maybe Enzo if we can get a more mobile player of similar technical quality, personally am all for it, blows hot and cold far too much. Not the sort of midfield player who is going to dominate big games. Also agree on needing a top top 1 CB & CF. But won’t matter without a top GK - look at Liverpool pre Alisson. Top GKs are worth their weight in gold.
  3. Well if you’re going to the bookies stick a Chelsea red card on at least. Which muppet will it be this time?
  4. Rogers is a good player but not entirely convinced he should be a priority this summer. Or at least not the first deal we do. GK & CB in any order then CF have to be the top 3. The can get another LW & CM. If theres cash for it…. And in all likelihood a LW will only happen if we offload any of the undesirables who play there currently - Mudryk, Garnacho or Gittens. Our options we had there was why we didn’t go for Semenyo was it not? If we did actually go him at all 😂🙄 Plus is Rogers not best as a 10? So Palmer sits on the bench or we shoehorn either Palmer onto the right with him central or Palmer centrally with Rogers onto the left? 🤦‍♂️
  5. Spurs apparently interested in Paul Winstanley. Take him please let him go.
  6. They’ve effectively gone and exclusively used data analytics for recruitment though. That was the big part of the BlueCo’s plan, change to a far more data driven approach, to modernise recruitment, pick up players other wouldn’t etc etc. Instead they’ve wasted nearly £2.5bn. Its absolutely incredible 👏
  7. If they remove Eghbali who is going to run the show then? Boehly was pushed aside by Eghbali & Clearlake because their majority shareholders. It doesn’t change with one or two guys. Has to be a big change ie new owners. Or Boehly buys them out and becomes majority shareholder. Not only do we need new owners, new sporting director, new manager, some actual good players, a front of shirt sponsor. Anything else missed? Anger management training or something for the amount of red cards maybe?
  8. They’ve all got top level potential. Apparently. Thats why we sign them. Its actual top level quality we need just now though 😂
  9. Anyone saying we don’t need a GK after these first 15 minutes is delusional. Chronic unease with that cunt in goal. Never achieving anything with him.
  10. So will they be on training kits/shirt sleeves after this season? Whats the nature of the next 2 years? £15m for front of shirt to end of the season is not bad but then £3.5m after for each of the next 2 seasons is a shite deal given how it has taken them 3 seasons to get something on the front of the shirt that they weren’t affiliated with. Been all quiet on that front too, not like theres much noise about other sponsors offering decent coin coming to the table. Even worse now when you look at betting sponsorships coming to an end for next season, be more competition. If we end up sponsored by red bull are we going to become RB Chelsea 😂😂😂😂
  11. We do have glaring holes in the squad, maybe not in quantity but in quality 100%. Barring a handful of players, the majority are average. Particularly the signings the last 2/3 seasons. It would be a real mistake if we went another season relying on Sanchez, despite his improvement this season, because he is an accident waiting to happen which has been proven at Brighton & here. Welcoming Jackson back to the fold would also be another mistake given how petulant his attitude and discipline is. Not to mention the whole scenario to push through his move to Bayern - where they’ve basically used him sparingly to not have to sign him. The transfers of Gittens, Garnacho & Delap also poor signings last summer (not an improvement on any of the players we already had in those positions). Would replace all 3 within a heartbeat. Perhaps even Hato too. Given the noise around Gittens, Delap & even Garnacho, I would imagine there is scope for them to leave already. A supposed club with elite ambitions cannot rely on those guys every season. We probably need at 4 good signings to go into the first 11. GK, CB, LW & CF has to happen sooner than later on we risk making no progress at all. Well continue making no progress. Maybe a CM not as desperate for the starting 11 but Lavia wouldn’t be someone we should be counting on either based on his lack of appearances in the past 2 and a half seasons. Again, most clubs would be looking at moving him on based on that (sick of hearing about his “talent” no good if he is crocked 90% of the time). Going into next season with Fernandez (who has played further forward more with Maresca & now Rosenoir), Caicedo, Santos & Essugo (if not loaned?) as our only fit/reliable options would really leave us short. If Caicedo ever got a long term injury we’d be fucked.
  12. Not too much at all. Just a GK, CB, CM, LW & CF. We need more than just 2 or 3 and they have to be quality signings because everyone else around us will strengthen again. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City & Man United will not scrimp on wages if it means getting quality in the door. Be a few pawns sacrificed in the summer too, as usual, to rejig the squad/comply with PSR or FFP/realise we’ve made some more bad signings no doubt. Plus the double signing of Garnacho & Gittens on top of the Sancho loan & Mudryk has really set us back on the left wing. Like thats at least £150m of wasted cash on players that are equally as bad as each other/what we had before. Thankfully we pulled the plug and didn’t sign Sancho despite our best efforts to nearly fuck that up. If Man United wasn’t Man United, Mbuemo & Cunha probably go elsewhere but they are always going to have that pulling power because of the stature of the club. Mentioning PL best & seeing some names up there - United also firmly in driving seat for van der Ven by sounds of it (again, with or without CL, they’ll have that pulling power). Plus Liverpool will be desperate for another CB when Konate goes despite signing Jacquet. Van Dijk cant go on forever.
  13. Those deals will be investigated, similar to Savinho to City & also some of the other Chelsea-Strasbourg deals that have been done. So it will not be a shortcut to getting players on the cheap….
  14. I hope we at least have a go this time. We need to win as many games as we can.
  15. Senesi is an incredibly underwhelming best option. And not even the best option on that list. If the rumours are true both Romero & van der Ven will be leaving Spurs this summer. We should be all over the pair of them. Ok Romero has a bit of a discipline streak in him (fit right in here then)- although I think a lot of it is frustration - but he is quality. There is no argument about that. And in a position where it’s difficult to find quality. The club will never do it though. And for it to work if they did, they would likely need a good manager who can get through to him or even the likes of a JT on the coaching staff. But he will go somewhere and be a top top signing if he leaves - wait and see. Plus he’d probably call out the idiots running the show, so another strike against him in Clownlake’s eyes probably 😂
  16. Hmm we will see. We did already try to get rid of him though in the summer as part of the Garnacho deal. Would say that if he does break down again before the end of the season, then he really has to be on the list for being sold, regardless of how talented he is. This is season 3 for him & he has played a total of maybe 30-35 games for the club if hes lucky. We have probably played about 130-140 competitive matches in that time. This constant excitement around his inevitable 2/3 week return before he ends up getting injured again is a constant theme.
  17. As soon as they sacked Tuchel & appointed Potter I knew we were finished at the top from a sporting and competitive aspect. Even more so, how they just discarded someone who handled himself incredibly well during the whole sanctions clusterfuck before the sale. I fully agree, the way they’ve disregarded the senior concessions, travel concessions, some of the young & disabled fans - these are things that you do not fuck with. At any level. Typical cuntish moves carried out by Boehly, Eghbali and their cronies. Would you expect any less from 2 American multi billionaires with no knowledge of football? A strong leader/leadership group from the previous regime would maybe go we wouldn’t advise you do this, this is wrong. But they effectively purged that as well. Cech & Marina left. Tuchel sacked. Countless long serving players shuffled out. Good academy players punted purely for profit to be replaced with shite. Worst of it was, Clearlake were fresh in the door, arrogantly giving it the club was poorly run commercially, throwing the previous regime under the bus and whatever else. But in true American fashion, take something great, make a lot of noise about how you’re going to do X Y or Z to improve it then ruin it because you haven’t got a fucking clue. Taken them 3 years to get a front of shirt sponsor. On manager number whatever now & will no doubt change again in 12-18 months. Recorded a record tax loss today too. Why they go to games is beyond me, as you’ve said, they are incredibly well disliked and they must know that. I’ve not been to a game in a long time and have no intention on whilst those shower of cunts are there. Thats the only way they are going to realise they have to go.
  18. That is true. Still cannot believe we went from Abramovich to these charlatans. There are far more Boehly & Eghbali’s than Abramovichs out there. As you said, its effectively a fashionable thing now for these rich wankers to just buy a football club, treat it like a play thing & just ensure it makes a profit. Granted the tourist industry, huge interest in the PL from global & domestic trumped up TV deals haven’t helped either. Well they have financially clearly helped clubs and the league but for owners, it kills any chance of ambition. Why would a club try break into a top 6-8 spot if they can just ensure to keep that TV money rolling in every season for instance? Or at the other end of the scale, us, huge global brand that has been built beforehand. If you could acquire the club, reduce the running costs, build a structure where you can sign players develop them at another club before taking them back, get European qualification prize money every season for one of the 3 competitions, why do anything differently? Look at Palace, FA cup win & a season in Europe yet flog their best players. Their manager is willing to walk away as opposed to stay as he clearly thinks they’re not ambitious enough. And thats with an English owner….
  19. Shocking decision to ban the banners but is anyone surprised? BlueCo have ripped the heart and soul out of their club. And they are doing it here also. They think what they’re doing is working, clearly. The day new owners come in will be a day welcomed by so so many here & probably even more so in France.
  20. Fabregas would be off his head to even consider coming here. Won’t happen. All the next big managers, we have no chance of enticing them to come here without major changes off the pitch. Anyone with half a brain will not want to work within this structure and particularly with these sporting directors who have burned through £1.75 to 2 billion of transfer money without facing any accountability. This is why we have ended up with Potter, Pochettino, Maresca & now Rosenoir. And 2 of them left due to “mutual consent”….. so go figure.
  21. Yeah I don’t get why players celebrate tackles. Its quite embarrassing. But its common in modern day football…. Strange sub but don’t forget Reece has been playing in games where we’ve been all over the place still from set plays and that too. Don’t think him organising the defenders as you put it would’ve made a difference, doesn’t strike me as that sort of player/captain. Genuinely not sure he’d be captain if he wasn’t from the academy. By all accounts he’s great at organising days out/team meals though 😂 Rosenoir pretty blunt with his assessment after the game, highlighted 4 or 5 big issues. Hes not wrong. On players lacking accountability 100% nail on the head, the standard of defending is abysmal. Nobody wants to do it. This is one of the softest teams we have ever had, which is embarrassing when you look at the spend and the apparent level of players. In all honesty, I am sick to death of Enzo Fernandez, the guy is a joke. Stealing a living. How he’s got a World Cups winners medal is beyond me. Good with the ball an absolute passenger without it. We need a top GK, top CB, top CM to pair with Caicedo & a top CF in the summer. Then we might be a sure thing for top 4 next season.
  22. When do they start pointing the finger at the sporting directors?
  23. Keep saying it - said it with Maresca when we were trying to push certain players out - would keep Chalobah as a squad player. Still our best/most reliable CB probably, options aren’t great but in terms of HG status, knowing the club, age, experience… really strange we would try and let him go again other than for pure profit on the spreadsheet. Badiashile signing just hasn’t worked out after initial promise & Tosin…. well Tosin should never ever have been signed at all & anyone who disagrees should probably put down the crack pipe 🤣
  24. I think you’re really really nitpicking there. As I said, if he doesn’t try get involved there its a tap in for the other player & “why hasn’t he tried to do anything” as opposed to “why is he not marking the player”….. He ends up on the deck effectively so not sure what else you want him to do in that split second? Maybe be stronger & stay up? But even then, does it still make a huge difference in how the goal plays out? Probably not. Poor goal yes but you’re making a really big point about something that it should never ever get to if dealt with well at the other 3 or 4 opportunities initially (Trev, Josh x2, Caicedo). Caicedo’s & Santos’ role in it gets worse & worse every time I see it, their player runs off Santos earlier in the move who’s recovery is poor after Trev makes a cunt of it, then Josh gets rolled, then Caicedo’s not strong enough in the tackle & Josh makes a cunt of it afterwards. Then Sanchez does what he can. Then Gusto. But in terms of mistakes Gusto’s hardly that bad & already in the middle of a shitshow. Not sure any other fullback/defender would’ve done differently there…
  25. Isn’t two of the moments before the goal him not trying to/failing to just clear the ball though? Thats the point I’m trying to make, all the big opportunities to get rid of it, Trev & him, are the most culpable & obvious chances, no?
