  1. Oh he will. And Sanchez will be one of the first nailed on starters. As he has been under every other manager. Plus Jorgensen is meant to be leaving this month I thought? Been lot of talk about him going for last week while.
  2. Well we did sign (some academy also) and then sell Madueke, Chukwuemeka, Veiga, Amougou, Petrovic, Moreira, Angelo, Maatsen, Hutchinson, Hall, Gallagher, Mount, Ampadu, CHO etc. all at profits. Some huge profits. Some in particular Madueke, Chukwuemeka, Veiga, Amougou, Petrovic, Moreira, Angelo were all signed by BlueCo…. all sold by BlueCo. Within 1-2 seasons of buying them. Would imagine the likes of Jackson, Paez, Kellyman, Anselmino, Sarr & Essugo all likely going to be added to that list also because we already have players joining & likely buy more again? At least 3 of them probably? Whether their profits or not on all but again, long contracts, young ages, good position to generate revenue no? The narrative isn’t that it’s all we do but the recruitment is clearly geared up to look like its going that way. They can say whatever they want about the right player over 23 not being available etc in certain windows to gullible journalists but cmon…. People were critical of us & Vitesse under the previous ownership for the loan army and what not. And BlueCo believed football side of the club wasn’t run well.. they have turned us into Brighton/Leipzig/Monaco, player trading between us & Strasbourg at will, like the NFL draft 😂
  3. What a load of horseshit, anyone falling for what these have said are as naive as they come, they are constantly just buying time. Effectively saying we will look to do this in the summer. Was the same last summer and the one before. Crock of shite.
  4. I will keep saying it, its cronyism at its finest, yes. We all laughed at United with ten Hag and signing players from his agency also…. looks like we have our very own scenario 😂
  5. Let’s be honest, regardless of how well he comes across, it is a poor appointment. Young English head coach or not, it reeks of cronyism & I don’t think anyone else will be quaking in their boots at the proposition of us appointing this guy. He says he will give everything… he will have to. He has a lot of winning over to do. Ultimately, nothing will change unless the structure, recruitment & ambition shown by those above changes. And given the lack of pedigree Rosenoir has, he is going to be the easiest one for BlueCo & co to manage because he has no real skin in the game, is already someone they have managed in France so to speak with forcing his hand with using certain players. So it is not really going to be any different, probably worse in that regard because Maresca, Poch, Tuchel beforehand wanted more from them. As @Special Juan said, he has to get all the players to buy in from minute 1 & that is to have any chance of making it beyond the end of this season, yet alone past that. Ok performances may improve but they couldn’t get any worse at times with Maresca. And still, this appointment, it is not going to appease 2 fanbase’s that are sick & tired of BlueCo. Even if he by some minor miracle is a success here, the distain with them at Strasbourg has been there for 12 months plus. The Tuchel, Potter, Poch & even Maresca scenarios from certain angles have shown huge incompetence. That huge cutting of personnel that first full summer also. The link with BlueCo has undoubtedly got to end when that 10 year period is up.
  6. The worst of it is, every BlueCo managerial appointment bar Pochettino, you think nah cannot get anymore riskier. But it does. Potter 5 year deal. Maresca 5 year deal. Rosenoir 6 year deal. These lot are just pissing money away on managers as well as players. They should just start giving out rolling 12 month contracts, make it easier on themselves, I mean its a circus regardless but least they’d save themselves some cash. And believe me, the way things are going, we will need it. Winstanley worked with him at Brighton aye. As did Sam Jewell (not sure what he does as head of global recruitment, not even sure if that title exists at any other club in world football). The more & more you look at it, it is cronyism/spoils system at its finest. And they’ve ripped the arse out of Strasbourg too instilling Davie Weir in place as a sporting director, another ex Brighton man who has strong links to the mob we have in place. Gary O‘Neil going to be their next appointment, so no doubt he will be top candidate to be Chelsea manager in 12-24 months. Anyone who has been attending games the last 12-18 months, save your hard earned money, don’t give it to these charlatans.
  7. 6 year contract 😂😂😂😂😂😂 He will last 12-18 months Honestly these fucking guys are idiots
  8. Fuck sake is that the only ambition you think a manager should have for us? Develop young players, sell them off, rinse & repeat. Winning is what any Chelsea manager pre BlueCo needed to do. BlueCo have killed this club. An absolute cancer. Only 6 years left before they can sell up as per the original sale, cannot come soon enough. People bought in at the beginning (optimistically) but anyone with 2 eyes could see after Tuchel’s sacking and all the changes in structure/recruitment they were full of shit.
  9. If we can get Madrid to pay close to/more than we paid for Enzo Fernandez, we should be all over it. Let’s be honest, he is a good player but no more than that. I do imagine Vitinha will be their first choice though as he is genuinely world class. And can actually get around the pitch.
  10. Suppose we will see. But if he has choice of going to United now or City at the end of the season if Pep were to leave (seems more logical given the BlueCo PR revelations about how they basically used information he was legally obliged to inform them of as a cross to nail him to when he walked as they felt “disrespected”) do you think he’d be so daft to go to United? Glasner looks like the top favourite at the moment.
  11. Bit of a conspiracy that. There is a lot of nonsense from the BlueCo PR machine regarding Maresca to save face, wouldn’t take it all as gospel. Same with Poch. Same with Tuchel. I mean who do you think is putting that out to the media? If Maresca called out our mob & walked away from £14m compensation because he was that mad, do you think he’s gonna work under Wilcox & Vivell, who have effectively spat the dummy at Amorin after he said they need to do their jobs 😂? Strange as they were all behind him last season when they sat 15/16/17th in the table now he has them 6th, they sack him? After he says he expected to be Man Utd’s manager, not head coach & told them they need to do their jobs? Lot of fragile egos at both clubs, anyone with sense will avoid them.
  12. Lets be honest, young English managers aren't given opportunities like the Chelsea job very often so regardless of if its Wayne Rooney (ok he worked with him) or whoever, there is gonna be a positive write up. Look at all the positive PR re Potter when he got the job here. Great coach, tactically good & whatever else mumbo jumbo they could add.
  13. Would’ve probably not gotten anything with Maresca. Gusto would’ve been playing as an inverted full back in the 94th minute. Still not enough, 1 win in 8 & another yes man coming in. Going to be a very intense & disappointing end to the season if we don’t start winning games fast.
  14. Shock horror. City coming into it now after we started not too badly. Bernardo Silva getting too much time on the ball.
  15. Morgan Rogers only believable rumour there. Because he’s ex Man City.
  16. Why? Is he not a fucking scout 🤣 Who’s gonna be on the pitch next? The tea lady? James in MF again 🙄
  17. Hope you get a chance to mention the shambles of a job the co sporting directors & Joe Shields have been doing since coming in, making us a glorified Man City u23/Brighton Never mind the game 😂
  18. Joe Shields another one who has to go. State of the transfers we made who were ex City players, other than Cole, none have been good signings for various reasons. An absolute farce that they’ve given him & the other two so much control when they have no experience at an elite level. Only involved at Brighton, Monaco & City EDS or academy sides. But thats obviously the clubs current goals - profit driven with no ambition of being competitive. City were ruthless enough to let Sancho, Lavia, Delap etc all go with no hassle. Palmer also when he asked to leave. The only one they actually kept that we wanted was Nico O’Reilly.
  19. Are we Estevao FC now? If his main selling point is that he knows an 18 year old like the back of his hand on top of being the “best club manager in South America” then I don’t see why anyone would be advocating him coming here. We will likely get Rosenoir now which is bad enough but managers who do well in South America, having had a poor managerial career in Europe, shouldn’t be on any want to be elite club also.
  20. I think Estevao will be fine regardless. Hs is a real talent & needs continuity in the team. The likes of Joao Pedro, Santos, Fernandez - they just need a kick up the arse or in Santos’ case, more minutes also. Talent is there just too inconsistent. Have bee saying the same thing about Enzo Fernandez for about 3 seasons now. Goal contributions have definitely stat padded his last 18 months but we need more in general play, particularly without the ball and in duels, he is hopeless in that area.
  21. Abel Ferreira is very left field but surely you’re joking 😂 Who’d be next on the list? Jorge Jesus? Dunga?
  22. Well you can’t have it all? Surely better than the alternative really, him sitting for another 6 months at least, perhaps 18, on full pay when he’s not involved. Particularly given everyone’s obsession with the financial success of this club as opposed to sporting success 😂 It would be a lot easier & (probably) cheaper if they tried to negotiate a deal to terminate his contract. What is the big deal with trying to negotiate say a £12-14m settlement to terminate his deal early? Surely better than him sitting for another 18 months on full pay? Reportedly he is still due around £22m of his contract. Nobody is going to pay him the wage he’s on here & location seems to be priority for him given he has reportedly knocked back Saudi clubs with obscene amounts of money on offer. As well as CL clubs in Europe. The London clubs that would sign him are not going to pay us a decent fee & him big wages. Something has to give. The fact he hasn’t played any meaningful football for us since Pochettino also sort of limits what we can ask for him financially.
  23. Its so they can have the medical team & sporting directors pick his starting 11.
  24. And another job for the boys moment, the guy is the ex City u21/EDS manager isn’t he? Maybe he’ll get the job full time? Now the club putting the daggers in on Maresca also, claiming a lack of mental fortitude & emotional maturity on top of disrespect for him talking to Juve & City although he had a clause put in his contract stating he was to inform them if he was to talk to any other club 😂😂😂😂 Genuinely hilarious. The circus continues. Wasn’t a fan of Maresca at all but he is 100% coming out of this on the other side, getting another decent job like all sacked Chelsea managers do. As it always happens. Whereas us, continue to be a laughing stock but only this time now, on a colossal scale. Only one side coming out looking like they have a lack of mental fortitude & emotional maturity… will give you a clue, it is not Maresca.
