  1. I never understood why people criticize Kalou for that. I think it shows intelligence and good movement. I mean it's all raul and inzaghi ever did, and they're the best strikers in the history of european competitions; but when Kalou does it its lucky.....amazing.
  2. I think the Hazard deal is far far from over, it will only be done in late Jan. Too many teams want him.
  3. AVB says his loaning out in Jan is not an impossibility: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/1213/00/villas-boas-admits-mceachran-could-leave-chelsea-loan
  4. For me, it's not about time spent at a club but the effort and commitment to give absolutely everything he got in every game for the club and the love of the shirt that drives him to create magical moments to celebrate with fans. After all Zola only came to us practically at the end of his career (age 30 if I'm not mistaken).
  5. Actually if it's for loan I don't see why not see as he is getting an alarmingly low number of games at chelsea at the moment. Swansea seems like the perfect team for josh to go on loan with because they are a team that try to keep possession and play attractive passing football in the middle of the park; they suite josh's game very well.
  6. I think some are underestimating QPR by suggesting that we play our youth players instead of our strongest 11; They numerous quality players including barton SWP and one of my fav young players adel taarabt. This probably won't be an easy game, but I still believe our attacking power will be too much for QPR.
  7. AVB says he should be fit for arsenal at most.
  8. Well that seems harsh seeing as city are backing down from their previous decision to punish the player after the investigations they done: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Manchester-City-back-down-over-Carlos-Tevez-allegedly-refusing-to-play-article816816.html
  9. Last week milner scored an amazing goal though I hate to admit it. This week, probably Lampsy vs QPR!
  10. Haha I think he totally meant it but only realized how stupid he's being after he had done it. I bet that's a game he won't be telling his grandchildren about.
  11. Barton maybe a dirty thug, but that doesn't stop him being right there. Still he should've kept his opinions to him self, but if every one handled the media AVB style, all papers would be out of business.
  12. Actually, he had played for 90mins with the reserve team on monday, I didn't expect to see him start against genk. But you're right he needs more playing time and he should've been loaned out for the season.
  13. I have a feeling good old Shaun is going to be a nuisance. It's a very important match for us win with manchester derby happening and AVB must realize that despite how we feel about QPR, he'll no doubt put in the strongest team possible. It'd be great if we'd win by at least 3/4 goals, I'm just hoping we could keep a clean sheet.
  14. No I'm pretty sure Josh will play in the Carling vs Everton, which definitely a better game for him to start, even if it is in the League cup.
  15. Regardless what he decides to do with his future, Ashley Cole is, and will always be a Chelsea legend.
  16. He seems a like very intelligent guy. I have great expectations of him.
  17. He's a very promising talent,no doubt, but I'm just thinking that he might be a very expensive gamble; Not all players in the french league can cope with the EPL.
  18. I am by no means a very religious person, but that just made my day. Oh Luiz you bloody legend!
  19. I don't blame AVB, he has the most difficult thing to do every other day when he selects the team. But I am starting to think that he should've perhaps been loaned out for his own good.
  20. I'm not sure what's scarier: the way those reporters can twist a player's words, or the fact that people actually believe that bullshit!
  21. Kalou looking to stay at chelsea: It amazes me how he still considers himself a player for the future. I am by no means a member of the anti-Kalouda committee/propaganda, but I really believe that it is time for Salamon to move on because he has nothing more to add to the club.
  22. I voted Torres for the obvious reasons. But allow me to give credit to someone unlikely to receive it from most: Malouda ( *pauses for heads to turn* ). I thought Florent had a great game especially in the first half in terms of movement and positiveness on the ball (despite some selfishness with a few shots in the second half) ; but most importantly he demonstrated throughout the match a simple skill but one that is sorely missed at Chelsea: Descent Crossing.
  23. I thought he was one of Genk's better players yesterday, especially in the first half.
  24. Half time. This couldn't be any better.
