I really hope Anelka starts. I don't think Dani and Nando do very well against very physical defenders like Blackburn's. I also fear for bossingwa; Blackburn's left side is their strong point. That being said I think we will definitely own the midfield today. We'll probably concede a Samba header from a set-piece, but we have the ability to pass them off the park.

Another interesting thing is Lampard's creative skills have surpassed Mata's in the stats. Just shows how much our legend has been underrated at the start of this season.

I don't know about spine but I think that in the coming years our two center-halves must be Luiz and Iva. In the middle Mata is a must along with rambo (our new essien in a way?). Problem still is upfront, Torres, despite his few good performances, still hasn't proved he fits with the team (I'm not doubting his talent) and Danial is way too inconsistent for us to make him the center of our attack just yet.

Whom here has seen every chelsea player taking a sufficient number of penalties to judge their penalty taking abilities? Well, AVB has, so if he says Luiz and Anelka would take pens when Lamps is not on, then I think it's safe to deduce they're two of the best takers in the squad. So I'd choose Nikolas Anelka and David Luiz.

This sums it all up in my opinion. Everything about this alleged "slur" makes absolute no sense at all.

I don't think he will be called for the Ghana international team for the ACoN. They have many excellent midfielders and he won't have gotten his fitness levels back. Even if he returns in december I think he will have about a month with reserves before he can play with the first team again.
