I hope we can win this one with a few goals to spare especially that our CL form hasn't been superb so far (Bayern: Good result, not performance; Valencia: Very good performance, average result). This match should be a message to all CL tittle contenders that AVB means business in the CL.

I think the foul is intentional, but the stomp isn't. In all fairness to the ref I didn't realize how bad the tackle was until the third replay.

Last season Florent had 4 assists in 32 games played in all competitions which is really low for a providing midfielder. So he is either not crossing enough or his crossing is really bad. It's nothing personal against Malouda but crossing was never his thing, he always either get on the end of work done on the right or down the middle, or cut in and shoot.

Never heard of him, but it's always good to see young talent enter the club especially that usually only about 1 of 10 young players live to their expectations. We should definitely go for him.
