Tbf, back when we signed him he was an excellent signing because he was very good for his age, problem is he just hasn't improved one bit since which is why his departure is a couple of years overdue.

Don't get the overreacting towards Cap's posts. I might not agree with all his opinions on Kalou, but you can't say he was our worst signing or our worst player in any season, yet he was constantly treated that way.

Actually it is "useless" to start a topic about any player even if we are about to sign him, like Hulk because the topic will not affect the actual transfer. It looks like the move to Brazil is not going to happen because they can't meet his wage demands. It's still just rumors at this stage.

My problem with term is that it seems some random journalist labels a player as creative and suddenly he is regarded as such by everyone. For example, and to get back on topic, why is Moutinho 'creative' while Marchisio isn't?? Over the past three seasons, Marchisio has an average of 4 assists in 38 appearances per season while Moutinho averages 7 assists in 50 appearances per season. Not much difference if you ask me, especially if you consider that the defenses in the Italian league are fairly tighter than those in Portugal.

One last tribute:

He can't expect a team to travel every other day and play a match in a different country.
