  1. LOL All religions say that, it's like all politicians say they are all moral. Means absolutely nothing as people can't be defined by religious views because it is all subjective. All mainstream religions have a wide range of pretty terrible to amazing people who believe in it.
  2. So when will the world presidents march to protest the racism and terrorist attack on religious freedom at Charleston by extremists? Oh, we're calling this one a 'hate crime' by a 'mentally ill' 'lone wolf'? Kay...
  3. Well that is the main issue, though, isn't it. You don't trust Remy as a second striker while I, and it seems a lot of people on here, disagree and think he is a perfect backup. Now, I really can't understand how you would trust Falcao and not Remy. Remy was perfect for us last season. His attitude was top and on the pitch he delivered every time he was called upon and came up with pretty crucial goals for us. You may believe that Falcao can return to his best but even you have to admit that is a risk and there is a possibility he won't. So how you could trust Falcao and not Remy I honestly don't get. I wonder who you think was a better backup striker than Remy in England last season? As for Remy only plying 700 minutes, there are various reasons for that including injuries and this being Drogba's last season and such. Even Jose himself has admitted that he was unfair towards Remy who deserved a lot more playing time......after all if our manager thinks so, you can't argue against him, can you?!
  4. On a serious note that is completely besides the point as I originally said that he was the best backup striker. I'm NOT saying he's better than Costa or Aguero so the point you're trying to make is irrelevant because all that matters from that stat is that no other backup striker is even remotely close to Remy on that list.
  5. If it's so easy, why isn't anyone even close to him and Aguero? If I'm not mistake the third best ratio is Costa with a goal every 115 minutes IIRC. "Our manager thinks so" has got to be the laziest most illogical and cowardly excuse anyone can come up with.
  6. In terms of wages alone, yes. But if you add the amortized fee, Costa and Cesc cost more. Falcao at 170k/wk would be pretty close.
  7. Remy had the best minutes per goal ratio in the entire league last season with a goal every 99 minutes followed by Aguero with a every 100 minutes. Falcao had a goal every...wait for it...325 minutes. And that's without counting his FA cup and League Cup appearances where he failed to score anything. Mate, you're clutching at straws here..
  8. So the biggest flop in the league last season who had been hibernating in France the year before and who had an injury that has practically ended the careers of many footballers is "more competitive" and can "push Costa" more than Remy who was probably the best back up striker in Europe last season? And you're asking ME to be objective?! Yes, it is completely normal to assume that someone who just had a beyond terrible season will more likely have a season closer to that one than the excellent season he had 3 years ago. I acknowledge that he could have a season similar to the one he had 3 years ago, but that is not as likely as having a bad season like the one he just had. THAT is a much better assumption than the baseless one that he will get to his top form automatically.
  9. You have to understand why Remy would be reluctant to stay and fight for his place. He was nothing short of a top professional last season. Always did and said the right things and on the pitch he was outstanding, yet he watched as a finished Drogba got more playing time than him. Now, instead of putting trust in him and ensuring him more playing time next season, he sees that Jose and the club are going and making a huge investment in another big name that looks finished as well. Of course he has every right to doubt that even if he plays brilliantly and much better than Falcao he won't get the minutes he deserves because that is literally what happened to him last season with Didier (Even Jose himself admitted that). If anything his minutes will decrease solely because of Falcao's cost. If I were him I would leave. He could go and get solid minutes and score 25-30 goals at any of Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, Tottenham...etc. Anyway, as I said before, there is no point arguing now that the deal looks done. I support Falcao fully and hope he surprises everyone and proves me wrong.
  10. I was acting according to the Guardian who I would always believe before the Independent (in football, at least). Put away the Chelsea bias and try to read what you just wrote rationally. You're going out of your way to the very extremes to try to prove this and it's not really holding up. As I said, Remy, who is our second choice striker and was amazing for us last season costs us 6-7m per year. Players like Lacazette and Benteke are much lower risks because they did not just have beyond terrible season. They are the very top of their hype and their prices are at an all time high while Facao's should be at an all time low. Secondly neither would be realistically bought as third choice. They would not accept and we would not pay that much for a third choice striker. A third striker would ideally cost 4-5m like Didier or Ba. My fear and what is seeming increasingly likely is that Falcao is being brought to replace Remy which would be beyond terrible and risky business.
  11. No, it is NOT acceptable for third choice striker whom we are taking a huge risk on to be our 3rd/4th most expensive player!
  12. That's a 12.8m pounds investment in just one year! To put that into perspective, last season Remy cost us about half of that (6-7m) and Didier cost us just 4-5m. Remy's transfer fee over his 4-year contract length is less than that loan fee! Only Costa and Fabregas will cost us more on next season's books. Hazard about the same. That is INSANE!
  13. The thing is, we don't need to pay for and taste a possibly bad pudding to find out if it is rotten or good when we already have some fantastic mille feuille and creme brulee in the fridge!
  14. Not at all talking about this last season, but rather in general since his Chelsea career has finally come to an end. He was insanely talented as teen, I mean Messi/Pato levels of teen talent. He could have been so much more with a better attitude and proper management.
  15. Oh yes, the first was some way from actually going in and the second was offside by a mile. Rarely been more happy about a win! EDIT: Also Sandro scored THAT goal which got him unbelievable (and probably undeserved) hype for a couple of years which he celebrated by the most ridiculous chicken dance while 'Arry yelled at him for going forward Good times...
  16. Looks done for 3.5m. What a waste of talent...
  17. Oh, I did; but I thought you'd like to know that some are actually incorrect before you book that trip to Guam.....or Lebanon with hopes of fucking a cow!
  18. Dunno where you got this but some are complete bs, starting with the first sentence actually. Third is obviously wrong as well. Here's a fact that proves that world is bonkers, though: People on the internet make up weird bullshit about random places and say they are 'facts' just to get a few clicks to their page/site!
  19. Exactly what shape or form do you have in mind?!
  20. Of course he'll get sold. And that will be the most likely fate of our loaned youngsters as long as we are willing to take incredibly high risks on big names like Falcao instead of relatively lower risks on people like Bamford.
  21. Alright, since this is looking like it is actually going to happen (against all logic), I will try to get all the criticism out in this post and will try my best to back him and give him all the support that every player in Chelsea blue deserves. So here we go: I genuinely hope that this transfer is a result of Jose wanting to do Jorge Mendez a favor or some shit like that because otherwise I would seriously start to doubt Jose's footballing judgement and his mental abilities in general. Why in the world would he want to sign last season's biggest flop of the league, otherwise? Falcao last season seemed to have lost his scoring instinct as well as his much of his pace and physical abilities. What's worse is that his off the ball work was pretty bad as well so he literally offered next to nothing for utd. And before someone says that their system didn't suite him, how the hell do you know that ours would?! Yes, he CLOUD regain his previous abilities, but that is hardly convincing. You can say literally about every striker on the market that he COULD come here and score 25 goals per season but what are the actual chances of that happening?! The point is, we are not in a position where we need to take such risks, we already have two excellent strikers. If we are going to take such long shots then why not put faith in Patrick Bamford instead? I genuinely think HE is a lot more likely to surprise everyone and have a great season for us than Falcao. Side note: Let's face it, most people who want this transfer feel that way because they bought into the incredible "El Tigre" hype he had a couple of years ago at Atletico. Basically, we are agreeing with Jose and the club taking an incredibly high risk, relatively low reward shot because of some shitty YouTube compilation videos and a silly nickname. But without a doubt the worst part of this potential transfer would be if Remy asks to leave as a result. The guy is simply the best backup striker in the country and one of the best in Europe; he had many games where he was playing even better than Costa himself, his mins per goal ratio was ridiculous and more importantly a lot of his goals came at crucial moments. Swapping Remy for Falcao would be a HUGE step backwards and beyond a stupid decision by Jose and the board. I'll leave it at that and not get into his wages, age, the shortsightedness of this transfer and his questionable decisions in joining Monaco and utd. If he signs, I will give him the full support from now till he's had sufficient time to prove himself and I would be absolutely delighted to be proven wrong about this transfer.
  22. Not talking about design or even comfort level, but quality of material, stitching...etc. Adidas have been well below the rest in that regards for some years now.
