Ashley Cole was alright, but apart from that, Terry was fucking horrible yesterday, he was at fault for maybe 3 of the goals and he just couldn't defend against the quick and clever German offence. Lampard has really been dire the whole entire tournament, for every single match, well actually he was a little bit better yesterday but that doesn't excuse his other performances too... Really though, it wasn't just the Chelsea players, it was the whole entire England squad that decided not to show up, and it's a shame, with that much talent, if we had as much spirit as the Yanks or Ghana we might have gotten far, but sadly we have a manager who decides to pick up the old tactics of Sven and McClaren of picking the superstars who don't even look arsed on an international level. To me, this is pretty good news, despite all they have done for the club these last few years, it's not as if they have been spectacular the last season or so. They can be replaced, allowing more room for youth players (Kakuta), allowing the average age for the squad to go down. But I've seen some crap like that twat Henrique posting: "Now Chelsea deserves a real number 10." And Joe Cole wasn't? Fuck off because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. At the end of the day, these will be beneficial to us, and hopefully we can start bringing youth into the squad this upcoming season.
