Haha What are you going to be working as? I saw Jason tweet something about that! Not going to try and find out what he was talking about, I have a feeling it will be traumatizing

Only now saw your reply, sorry. I see absolutely no point to this signing tbh. He is "too good" to simply sit on the bench for the whole season. I mean, unless Cech gets some freak accident, the backup goalie, whoever he is, will only get about 5-8 games all season. i personally dont see the point in splashing out 8-10mil plus high wages on Ruddy when as others have mentioned, we could simply have kept Turnbull or can sign someone like Schwarzer. Even if I'm thinking on a long-term level, there is no way he is good enough to be our first-choice keeper. We have Courtois for that anyway. Even if we lose Courtois (which could happen if either he himself wants a permanent move or if he is not willing to wait and the club decides to stick with Petr past this upcoming year) we should go out and get someone world class or potentially world class. Ruddy is neither of those. To each his own, of course!

Ohh since it was in a test, there must be a specific reason why 'have to' is preferred to 'should'. I'm terrible at those language rules. Hopefully someone else can help lol. In regular 'everyday' type conversation though, both seem right to me!
-
How are you trying to phrase it? Both seem fine to me but I feel like they'd be used in different types of scenarios. Are you trying to be firm/criticize the student? Or are you trying to offer advice? I would use the first statement if you're criticizing and the second statement if you're offering advice. But my English isn't the best!

Been really busy these last couple of days. But I got some great news last week -- I got accepted into this internship programme at one of the insurance companies here. The internship itself isn't that great but I'm just thankful to be accepted! Summer internships usually have an application deadline of November or December and at that time last year, I wasn't even thinking about what I'd want to be doing/should be doing this summer so I missed all of the deadlines! Hence I was just planning on getting a regular administrative desk job for 4-5 months. But I saw this online ad for current undergrad students to participate in a finance internship so I applied and got it the next day! I start on Thursday! Hoping it goes well!

Delighted he got four goals...... Hopefully that raises his value in the market a bit!
-
yeah it should be enough! lol. @CHOULO19 will protect me from you! I will
-
I think it should get cleared up in a couple of weeks! Definitely will be gone by December. It's caused by Indonesian farmers so it's seasonal. There's always haze here in the summer months but it's never been this bad lol Anyway why are you coming to Singapore? Holiday?
-
what the hell lol. The haze here is getting worse. The PSI (pollutant standards index) in Singapore is now 290!! It's approaching the "hazardous" mark lol My word. People were worried yesterday when it was hovering around the 150 mark. No idea how it has suddenly jumped to 290!
-
I think she confused Drogzola for francozola
-
I don't think that will be a very popular statement around here!
-
Yes, I'm wondering who that ass belongs to lol Is it Hazard's?
-
To clear the land and to obtain more wood! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deforestation_in_Indonesia I'm fine! My throat is more dry than usual obviously but no breathing problems thankfully. Loads of people walking around with those masks or handkerchiefs over their mouth & nose. If it continues to get worse I'll do that too lol Wow! Ours is at around 130 or so right now I think. I've read about the terrible pollution in certain parts of China. Did you and your family have any problems when you initially moved there? Have a great trip! Stay safe!
-
Crazy haze here in Singapore today thanks to those Indonesian farmers who burn the forests during this time of the year. The PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) level officially hit the "unhealthy" mark this afternoon. This is what the main city looks like lol Even as I look out of my room window, there's so much haze lol and I only live on the third floor

Love all those guys Amelia, especially Ryan lol  Gaspard Ulliel

That was my first thought too but actually I don't think he meant that lol
