Why can't Azpi make a normal face He looks ok in the one with the other Spanish lads though -
Hmm love Lamps but Azpi or Cech surely deserve it more Anyway these things don't really matter. Plus we know Juan's going to win it

Get in!!! That was a proper smash and grab lol we were finding it difficult to string 3 passes together at times. Luiz and Ramires were astonishingly poor! Luiz is not a midfielder for fucks sake he is a defender and a great one at that. Hope Jose/the next manager realises this. Anyway the biggest problem is the pivot. In most games we simply can't get a hold of things because there is no balance in any way shape or form Torres was very good! Had a few great runs down the middle, similar to his goal. We were rubbish going forward so can't blame that on him because there was simply no channel from defence to attack. Held the ball up ok for someone who's not suited for that tactic. His whining may annoy at times, but you can see that it does sway refs to give more fouls in our favour which was badly needed yesterday considering the ref wasn't giving anything to us at all. BRAN YOU LEGEND WHAT A HEADER!! BEAST!!! Also, Jorge Jesus can SUCK IT. Fucking arrogant bitter scum -
I would give him... 7.5/10 Overall, I think he hasn't been as consistently 'flashy' or 'explosive' as many expected, especially considering the price tag and all the hoopla when he signed, but I am actually much more pleased! He provides so much to the team that isn't obvious to those who are simply looking out for the next flick to orgasm over or insert into their youtube video. He gives a lot of balance in attack and when he isn't playing it is a huge loss, and not just because of his individual skill. We look a little aimless going forward when he's not there. Also he draws players to him which makes space for others and his link-up with Mata is very good indeed. But of course those moments of individual magic (like the backheeled volley/pass to Mata against Spurs) are thoroughly breath-taking Might give some more thoughts later! To sum it up I think he's done really well in his first season and I'm really looking forward to what he'll do next year, hopefully with a more competent striker in front of him lol

I asked Bluesmaster the same thing a while back and he said that Seb's taking a break due to studies and work! Gosh! How do you tag someone? I've been away from posting for so long!

Ah I was referring to The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, not SLP! Haven't read that one yet, planning on starting it once my exams are done
-
It's a bit of a bore tbh! In my opinion anyway lol. Goes on for way too long which is a bit annoying considering nothing's actually happening (I know that's the point but still...) Would love to know your thoughts once you're done tho!

yes I've said a couple of times that we should just imagine that we paid 70m for Mata and got Torres on a free lol that would even things out a bit
-
I know! I have missed this place a lot! Was too busy juggling work and university at the start of the season, and then had to take a break after the whole RDM/Rafa fiasco lol. But I've been reading the forums as often as I can for quite some time now, just not been posting. Exams start tomorrow and I'll be done in three weeks! Will be back posting etc after that!

LOVE Mata's passion. His talent amazes me every time, but what actually shocks me a little is the desire and passion that he shows for the club on and off the pitch. I expected him to be one of those calm, cool & collected little Spaniards that just celebrates a goal in a regular way (or worse still, an Arshavin-type who genuinely seems surprised to find himself on a football pitch) while the more obviously fiery/enthusiastic players (English lads/Luiz/etc) go mad but damnit his celebrations get to me! Maybe they seem more powerful coming from such a little lad lol The way he talks about the club and the fans off the pitch is delightful as well. He's diplomatic, but also very, very passionate and aware of the club's history. Hope he never leaves

Match Fixing - Did it affect us?

Oh yeah, forgot about that. But I won't be surprised if that lyon match was still found to be fixed anyway. Preliminary is referring to the qualifying rounds then? -

Doubt it's the barca game tbh. Wasn't there a game last season, I think in the final round of the group stages, where a team had to win by like 5 goals to stand any chance of qualifying for the knock-out rounds and they smashed some rubbish team by 6 or something like that? Can't remember who was involved but it felt dodgy to me at the time. Or is that not the kind of fixing they're taking about? -

Muzchap -
I'm fucking sick of waking up at 4am on a Wednesday night/Thursday morning and then having to go back to bed at 6 feeling completely depressed and then dragging myself out of bed a short while later for work/school. This is the 5th time it's happened in a row, after QPR, Swansea, Southampton, Swansea again and Reading yesterday. I wouldn't give a fuck if they were unlucky results or something. But to watch some of these muppets put in zero effort and that twat of a manager making useless decisions after another is just.. tiring tbh. It's a JOKE and WE'RE the joke: having to watch this debacle get worse and worse every week. Can't imagine how those who spend their wages to go watch the games (especially the away ones) feel.

Really hope we don't lose Courtois. It would be a terrible shame. Goalkeeping talents like him don't come around very often. If we let him go we are really going to regret it I feel.

haha wow those CFC-Fans main site designs bring back so many memories!

I gave up on 1Q84 lol. Got about a third of the way through but some of it was really fucking boring especially all the repetitive stuff. The actual storyline is interesting but right now I really can't be arsed to read 600 more pages of that. Might try this again some time in the future. Started The Ghost Brigades, the sequel to Old Man's War which I finished a few weeks ago. Decent military sci-fi.

Why was Ba tactically put on the wing? I know he drifted towards the centre but why can't both strikers be played up top together, one behind the other rather than always putting one of them on the wing?

Just want this fucking season to end....
