Agree wholeheartedly. Just want to say this once and get it off my chest, but it truly makes me laugh whenever people say things like "thanks Fernando for winning that corner in Munich". I mean... are we being serious here? I understand that it was the corner that led to the equaliser, but come on! If we're "thanking" players for little things like that then we should erect statues for what the likes Cole, Cech, Drogba, Lamps and loadsa other players did, even Kalou Malouda and co. All those goal-line clearances by Cole? The last-ditch tackles by Cahill? The unbelievable saves by Cech? Now I'm not saying he played no part in our CL win. And I think he did ok this past season considering how absolutely awful he was when he first arrived and taking into account the pace he has lost and whatever. But seriously the abuse we have given players like Kalou, Mikel, etc and even Drogba over the past few years is shameful considering how we've put up with this guy. Anyway since this is the Cavani thread... hope we get him lol

I thought about that but don't really see it as a feasible option tbh. I thought about doing my master's in the US perhaps but 1) it's too expensive 2) it's too restrictive since I don't want to get an MBA. Plus since my current bachelor's degree is from the University of London, it makes it much much easier for me to either get a job in the UK or get accepted into a UK master's programme! Maybe if things go well I might be able to work there someday? Not sure tbh. My family isn't loaded lol so I'll just have to see what happens. Anyway Singapore's financial sector is doing really well atm. But like I said I definitely need to get out of here for a few years. Right! If you go overseas, you'll have to take their own examinations right? To qualify as a lawyer there? Have you thought about what type of law you want to practice?

It is absolutely awful and cringe-worthy. Jason Cundy is THE WORST. Can't believe they didn't use the Martin Tyler / Gary Neville Sky commentary for last season's CL final.

Haha they'll pass by in a flash, mine definitely have! I plan on getting out of here at least for a couple of years to work and explore! My current university degree is awarded by the University of London (it's an international programme) so I've been looking into master's programmes in the UK, etc. Not sure if I'll be able to get a job in the UK simply with this current bachelor's degree. But I'm thinking of working here in Singapore for a year here first to get some experience before starting all of that. You?

That's the difference between him and Malouda for me, in terms of attitude and professionalism. Everyone actually respects him. I'm sure he helps out a lot behind the scenes with the young players and the foreign lads. Never complained or had a bad word to say about anyone. Did a thoroughly professional job on the pitch whenever asked. Genuine, top class guy. Thanks for everything Paulo!
