With Rodwell joining Man City and De Jong entering the final year of his contract, I believe that he would fit the bill as a 1st choice defensive midfielder. Better than Mikel, Essien and Meireles, he would release Lampard from having to cover for Mikel's poor passing ability. Of course City wouldn't has to sell him to us..

Dzeko would be a good option and now they've bought Rodwell, I'd get Nigel De Jong as well. Show Meireles and Mikel the door...

Sorry but Sturridge would outscore Lukaku with ease. If Chelsea don't buy another striker before the deadline, it would not surprise me if Sturridge scored more than Torres. He needs a real run as the club's lone forward.
