  1. He plays better with long hair than without
  2. Apparently the guy's having second thoughts after seeing the video, and has encouraged an FA probe into the matter.... The funny thing is people claim they want to stamp racism out of the game. Fair enough. But why the heck do they want to make something out of a non-issue and arouse public sentiments for no reason? It only makes matters worse...
  3. But why should there be any doubt? If anything was said it was obviously in the heat of the moment...the man is after all, good friends with Drogba,Cole,Essien,etc...
  4. Don't think so..more like a slap on the wrist for a first "offense"... AVB isn't holding back though, glad to see a manager who fights for the team rather than have someone like Warnock....
  5. What a load of utter crap.... So what happens to Luis Suarez? In that incident Evra has officially complained, and yet nothing happens, everything goes under the carpet..Here, the clowns all jump on the word of some armchair lipreaders...
  6. Not so funny when you realize he successfully disrupted the play by preventing a quick throw-in
  7. I would agree with his decisions if he had showed more consistency. A ref can be strict or not, that depends on his style. But if he awards them a penalty for something like the foul Luiz committed then we should have a couple as well
  8. Agreed Good CDM also means he will need to pick passes on a consistent basis. There's no reason why he shouldn't be tried there like Mourinho did with Pepe, but I don't think it'll work well against the better sides..
  9. Isn't Chris Foy an Everton supporter? Quote from wiki: "As an Everton fan,[11] Foy does not referee competitive games involving the club[12] although he did referee an Everton away game at Aston Villa in 2002 before he had declared his interest in the team.[13]" We played against them last week, and we play them this week as well...no surprises now I guess..

  11. AVB faces FA charge after unleashing rant at ref: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Chelsea-boss-Andres-Villas-Boas-faces-FA-charge-after-rant-at-referee-Chris-Foy-article819297.html Mission accomplished eh, Chris Foy?
  12. Leave it, he clearly has no clue what he's talking about...
  13. Yeah..wish Didier had kept also his head and at least stayed on the pitch...we could have got more than just a result for this game
  14. Exactly. The inconsistency from the ref was the worst thing from him, never mind the initial decisions... Agree with you there..the older players should have been knowing the history regarding Chris Foy..
  15. Was a straight red and so its 3 games. I wonder whether the club will appeal against it. The good thing is 1 out of those 3 games is the CC game this week.
  16. Probably not...I just wanted to know how many goals he has against them...
  17. Yeah noticed that in the first half...it was clearly not going to be an easy game, but in that regard we should have definitely started better.. To tell the truth I feel more sorry for AVB...Look at what he has to contend with in his first few days here, tough fixtures, crap refereeing decisions and moments of madness from our best players...I hope the team turns it around in the next match
  18. Just when Ferguson suffers his "Worst Day in Football", Warnock has "the Greatest day of my career" Also he has the gall to add: "I am so pleased we had the ref because a lot of refs would have been conned. It’s easy when you lose to blame the ref. I’ve done that myself. Villas-Boas is young and needs to look at that. Foy made far fewer mistakes than what Chelsea and QPR have made today."
  19. I personally thought way before the game, that this fixture was rigged... On a Sunday, right after an obvious title decider match...
  20. Was hoping for a draw at OT to be honest... Last thing anybody would have wanted was for City's team spirit to build up...(Its like a bomb waiting to explode)... Still think they're a little too reliant on Silva though...
