  1. Yeah I heard he snubbed the news reporters on his exit from the stadium...every right to do so...
  2. I can't help but feel that it was only after Romeu started charging at and harassing the opposition for the ball, that the team really turned it up a gear... Well played by "The Bull"...I'm sure even the Bison would agree.
  3. Too easy, but nonetheless orgasmic football....
  4. Sorry if I'm wrong but it sounds to me like you're saying we need a Xavi, Iniesta and a Sergios Busquets type model for our midfield... I think we just need a midfield that works...one that has all the necessary tools in it such as creating chances, scoring goals, keeping possession, passing quickly, pressurizing the opposition and winning the ball back....
  5. No, he won't because he's not the same kind of player... Then again I don't see why he has to
  6. Nope...To be honest, I keep hearing about a new opinion from the commentators on what position the guy is supposed to play in. I hope he doesn't turn into one of those wasted utility players
  7. His one-two with Lamps this season was also a beaut..you should definitely include a few Lampard-Drogba goals in there, its a combination that's very under-rated compared to the old Gerrard-Torres one...
  8. ^^ Yeah, its best we secure a hold on the group before experimenting with the line-ups...
  9. I had forgotten about that one... When Bacelona's play acting and posturing came to the fore over the past two season, I guess all the preconcieved opinions about their heroism just faded...
  10. I think what is generally perceived as poor touch is mostly because of the breakneck pace at which he plays. His control over the ball is pretty decent actually.
  11. I wonder who can claim the assist for Terry's goal....Lampard or Mikel? :eyebrows:
  12. Respect for Barton's candour, but I don't think I would go that far
  13. Yeah the one against Fellaini was very impressive...calm and composed on the ball as always, but what surprised me was seeing him actually hounding the Everton defenders to get the ball back (the incident where he played as a right back against Saha). But the Everton defence probably wouldn't have been unlocked were it not for a certain Juan, so that's my man of the match...
  14. Just like Lampard was thought to be done and dusted? No the player is more or less still there, but Drogba just doesn't seem motivated enough in the last two matches...He didn't seem to show the will to beat the last man (when he easily could shrug him off) and find the back of the net.. Maybe he feels that he has a lesser role to play this season and is refraining from going to his thunderous best. From the looks of things, he might feel (and certainly I feel) that he's nothing more than a stand-in for Torres. If that's true, I'm just grateful he's doing a decent job in the build-up play and not just being a waste of space on the pitch. Edit:But I think all this could change, and our squad players will show more enthusiasm when there are more telling signs of us winning a trophy this season. Similar to how our squad played in the second half of 09-10
  15. Not as annoying as the ESPN commentator who was like: "Should we put Chelsea in the category of the two Manchester clubs?" No..thank you! Says me....
  16. Wish Drogba showed more enthusiasm throughout the match...he could have had much more influence, kind of like he showed in the build-up to Ramires' goal
  17. First real involvement in play from Drogba..want to see more of the same Great passing from Mata, Ramires again in the right position
  18. The best thing that can happen for us in an Everton game: A 2 goal lead
  19. We won a penalty shoot-out this season, let's see if AVB can break another one of our recent hoodoo's.
  20. Should be fun to watch though... Jamie Carragher and Vidic pulling people by their shirts...Nani and Luis Suarez falling to the ground and wailing...Comedy from Reina and De Gea.... Yep, truly the "greatest" match the EPL has to offer....
  21. Why can't they work out Didier's contract before they even think of offering one to Kaloo... :ballack:
  22. Considering the history of our players with regards to injuries, I guess we will never now until March gets here..
