  1. In an age of media vultures, cut-throat social groups...Rio expects Terry to say one thing to him and Anton, and another thing to the courts? Don't know why he's made it such a big deal, especially as Anton never heard Terry say anything to him personally.
  2. On a side note, its good that United have got these new signings BEFORE facing any of City, Liverpool or Everton. Would have been disappointed if one of the other top teams had already faced and taken advantage of United in their weakened state...
  3. Hazard ain't messing around this season...when the rest of the team looked to be dropping their heads after the first Swansea goal, Eden kept driving forward...If it weren't for his tenaciousness I don't think we would have equalized in the first half
  4. Played with a poor tempo at the start of the match, and it was no surprise to see him give the ball away for their first goal. Much better in the second half though, with Ramires also brought on to keep up the pace alongside him. Needs to keep it going that way.
  5. Pogba and Matic were awesome today...standout performers
  6. With the squad that we have right now, I'm glad he gets the odd game once in a while to maintain some match fitness...if Matic weren't able to start, we would have no one in a similar mold for a holding mid, now that David Luiz has left.
  7. Haha..but are you sure about that part?
  8. He kinda looks like Thierry Henry's kid brother or something... Of course, he was once touted as the next Henry before he came to the PL. He may not be the pure goal-threat that Ba was, but I think his movement with the ball is far more suited to our team.
  9. Juan Mata frustrated by Manchester United's long balls after Louis van Gaal's side draw with Burnley at Turf Moor Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2739091/Juan-Mata-frustrated-Manchester-United-s-long-balls-Louis-van-Gaal-s-draw-Burnley-Turf-Moor.html#ixzz3C6jzAvSf Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook
  10. Off-topic: But you can always train to do otherwise right? Like Rafael Nadal who's right-handed naturally but trained himself to be proficient with his left.
  11. Yeah...guess it depends a lot on how our defense holds it together in the coming months. If having Matic and Fabregas to control the midfield isn't sufficient to play with a lower block (as Mourinho calls it), then we can expect more changes in that back 4.
  12. Haha...Drogba didn't even flinch when the water was poured on him. Still tough as an ox...
  13. Glad to hear that Mourinho did not intend for the intensity to die out in the 2nd half...looks like he wants to keep the floodgates open for as long as possible. Could very well mean that there are quite a bit of entertaining games ahead
  14. Yeah, based on us signing Drogba that's my expectation too.... if we do go in for a striker it will be in Jan, especially if we can't make room for a non-HG player in this window.
  15. Another brilliant assist from Rami, as he slowly makes his way back to the starting 11... His critics are going to have hard time stomaching this...
  16. Another brilliant assist from Rami, as he slowly makes his way back to the starting 11... His critics are going to have hard time stomaching this... EDIT : Oops...wrong thread ,time for take 2
  17. Ha,,..I remember when my stream got stuck when it was 2 vs. 1 on the screen and I was thinking it was a sure goal...then the stream refreshes and Matic has appeared from nowhere with ball at his feet...incredible.
  18. As is usually the case there's no real benefit to judging Hazard (or really any player for that matter) during pre-season. I don't think he takes these matches seriously..and that did prove to be the case last season. The step up in performance when our first truly competitive fixture against Bayern came up last season was huge.
  19. People were saying that forever during last season...
  20. I don't think it was really case of us being a better club...he (and for that matter, Torres) never suited our style of play. And tbh, we didn't really have a style of play. We probably did have one during the first few months of the season, but Mourinho sacrificed it to allow for more solidity at the back,
