  1. Personally, I would compare Cuadrado more to Nani than Willian. And I mean Nani on a good day, of course. More of a pure winger, and one that's also comfortable with taking a shot.
  2. Who can you do an impression of best? Arsene Wenger!!
  3. Nothing surprising, just unfortunate that the match came right when Schurrle and Salah were leaving. You look at the bench, and apart from Drogba there was no one to come and inject life into our game. We had no choice but to go conservative by bringing on Cahill.
  4. Where's the mythbusters team when you need it? But seriously, his passing and decision making in general has improved a lot this season. His crosses may still be a bit hit and miss though, but there are not too many who can say otherwise..
  5. FAR from it. And I'm not just saying that because of the chip he scored against Barca.
  6. Just saw the highlights...what shitty marking for the last two goals. Can't believe Azpilicueta was also involved in both of them...Leaving a player unmarked in penalty box, and beaten for the cross that lead to the next..totally unlike the team to defend that way, and sparks memories of the Spurs game were everything went to pot, with opposition making the most with beautiful finishes. Their first goal was some fantastic shot.
  7. I think a lot of them are still feeling delirious with City and Spurs also getting knocked out at home in similar fashion
  8. Had a question for the fans here..why is the FA cup valued so much more than the League Cup? Granted, its the oldest cup competition but their tournament format is so similar..
  9. Well done. Although he and the team will have to take a hard look at themselves. Going out of a cup competition was not surprising for me this season, given the gap in performance level of the first 11 and the second string. But losing badly against a league one side at home was definitely not on my mind.
  10. I haven't seen too many outfield players adjust their game so well to continue playing at top level at that age..
  11. And not to forget, Ramires has the balls the take important goals in a pressure situation.
  12. Our ultimate cup competition man could have, and probably should have got a few minutes to play in today's match. He could have come on for Costa during the last 15 mins
  13. In all fairness to Mikel, I don't know why Jose prefers him over Ramires especially when you already have Matic on the pitch.
  14. Lol @ the response at around the 9 min mark to...: "Are you going to be an Arsenal fan tomorrow?"
  15. In the all the interviews given since leaving Chelsea, he has been very grateful for the time he spent here...And also despite scoring more at Liverpool he never once said he valued his time over there more than at Chelsea
  16. Yeah, really noticed that when Shola Ameobi came on. I think out of our entire defensive line, only Cesar seems to be bold enough to make the challenges that are required. And of course, Ameobi chose to attack on Ivanovic's side (even if Cesar wasn't present)
  17. Don't forget this... (even if things turned sour in the end):
  18. There were a lot of talks happening when Chelsea were riding high in the league... Face it, we need to sort out our results first, and then Hazard's contract will come back into frame
  19. There's nothing unusual about it. A lot depends on how Chelsea performs this season. If there are less matches like the Tottenham and Southampton ones, were Hazard pulls in direction to get the result and the rest of the team doesn't , the better.
  20. I think it is starting to become a pattern..when we had that period in the first half, when we were swamping them and yet, not taking our chances...it instantly reminded me about the Sunderland game. The opposition doesn't do any *** in the first half, and they come out in the 2nd half and sucker-punch us. But man, was the defending lacklustre today. Cahill and Ivanovic need a hard look at themselves after those two goals.
  21. That's what Drogba is here to do..transfer that mentality of not letting your head drop into the rest of the team. Probably should have come on even in earlier in the match.
