  1. Total Football is so different from Tiki Taka. Total Football has it's foundations in player verstility and awareness. They are expected to not only play as a Foward, but as a Midfielder and a defender. That doesn't really happen in Tiki Taka, it's much more static with players have specific roles. If Ramires had actual consistent technical abilities he would be a magnificient player for Total Football due to his adaptability.
  2. Yeah, I know exactly what you are saying and I agree. Buuuuuut people are idiots, and they wouldn't even realise that Chelsea was emulating Brazil or Clockwork Orange...so Chelsea could get away with it. They would notice Barcelona and Tiki Taka however...that is still fresh in people's minds. I don't Chelsea to play exact Total Football I just want them to use the concept of changing positions. Imagine Oscar, Hazard, Mata if they played Total Football!
  3. Unless he brings Camacho and Isco along with him, Pellegrini can forget about it. NO ES ACETABLE PARA MI.
  4. What about players like Cabaye and Moutinho? Even the other Bender brother could be a good shou out.
  5. @Leif, I like you post in general but the second you said you hate the term 'double pivot' it was instinctual. I hate it too, brother.
  6. Personally I use it for University work and contacting people I have trouble getting a hold of. Easy.
  7. Football has changed but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't work. When you look back at football you can notice patterns and trends occuring. Most styles of football reoccur somewhere along the line and disappear. The only ones that probably won't return are those early 2-2-6 and other crazy formations. Catenaccio was great in the 60s, won Inter 2 European Cups and in the 00s it won them a single European cup. Not the best example but you know what I mean. If I'm not mistaken, fast paced football doesn't exactly cut up slow teams like Barcelona does it?
  8. Personally I'd love for Chelsea to go back to the days of ye olde Cruyff and play Total Football. And NO it's not the same as Tiki Taka. Very different ideologies. Sure Tiki Taka is derived and inspired from Total Football but to say it's the same is to say that Van Gogh is the same as Munch because Van Gogh inspired Munch. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/321814-beautiful-game-what-ever-happened-to-total-football http://sabotagetimes.com/reportage/how-football-tactics-were-born/ Of course Chelsea wouldn't use a Sweeper as that an outdated position due to the offside rule changing some twenty years ago. Or Brasil 82, those guys were classy as anything I've ever seen.
  9. Liking does not equate to support. I don't like the current team too much yet I still support them.
  10. Nah, Higs won't cost that much, I'd say under 30m.
  11. If he were a bit taller or stronger he could play as CB also.
  12. They mustn't be gloryhunting if they are still supporting Chelsea at the moment. If they were glory hunters they'd be at a ManUtd or Juve forum or some shit. Why is wrong to want the team to win all the time? I certainly don't wake up every day and think to myself "Oh boy! I sure do hope my team lose today!" Getting upset shows they care about the team winning. Some people get carried away, but that's only because they are naive or some shit.
  13. Because they aren't the club? The last time I checked the club existed before the current incarnation of players, managers, staff, owners, etc. They are Chelsea but Chelsea isn't them. The club existed before and will exist after.
  14. They call us plastic because back in the day of Blackburn winning stuff people started saying they bought the league with credit cards. Credit cards are made of plastic. Now Chelsea has money. Plastic does not and has not ever = fake fan or anything similar. It just means rich. Don't log on then, if you don't like it. Pretty easy solution Cho Cho.
  15. David Luiz if a brilliant player. I mean he can be a brilliant player. He put in a solid shift against ManCity but he can also be just the worst.
  16. Does anyone know why there are so many Spanish/German (et vice versa) people? Mario Gomez, Gonzalo Castro, Daniel Bruhl, a few people I've met, for instance.
  17. Personally I got a text message. It was in Russian, but I decyphered it.
  18. He was decent during the first half. I quite liked how he played. Ramires on the otherhand I thought was fucking terrible. I'm not sure about Mikel's second half though...oh wait, I am, he was fucking shite also. Yeah, that's right, shit with an 'e'.
  19. Get a hold of yourself Cho Cho, you sound like an old man that can't handle today's youth. And don't be sexist, the feminists on here will destroy you.
  20. Another thing to consider is that willpower is dispensable. It will only take you so far before giving in. Think of it as petrol, it gets all used up and takes time to fill back up. Tired players may seem like they don't care, but there willpower has just been drained. Of course some players in fact, don't care.
  21. James Milner cost City over 20 million.
  22. We really haven't resorted to this have we?
  23. Hopefully this season is a wake up call for the the mad twatters in charge. Maybe they've learnt from their idiotic mistakes.
