  1. Of course it's nonsense. But where is your sense of wonder? It is an amazing (albeit macarbe) coincidence, and there is no need to bring it down with the obvious.
  2. Starting XI number should never be retired. Anyway, if we retired number 11, we would have to retire number 8. And if we retire number 8 we would have to retire number 26. And with those three we would probably have to retire number 3 and 1. Eventually the vicious cycle would continue and every number retired.

  4. Every time he scores a goal a high profile person passes away.
  5. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/06/sports/soccer/kirk-urso-of-columbus-crew-is-dead-at-22.html RIP Urso The Aaron Ramsey curse claims another life.
  6. I remember Franck Leboeuf saying that he dislikes Richards because he stays attacks to often and stays forward too often. He also mentioned ManCity conceded the most goals on their right flank - but only when Richards played. Now, im no expert on Richards but even I noticed he likes to get forward. Sorry, Artinho but when it comes down to it, I'm going to listen to Leboeuf. I don't think assists really matter because Dani Alves had 7 assists last season.
  7. If I recall correctly it wasn't £25 million but €25 million. Therein lies the difference. Different sources different stories.
  8. Well, it's nothing official yet but the thread title does imply that Oscar will wear the number 11.
  9. HULK NO LIKE SNOW HULK NO LIKE PUNY MAN Though in all honesty Hulk doesn't look that much bigger than Cristiano Ronaldo.
  10. I have to admit, it's getting better. Getting better all the time. Bravo, unlike other team's forums like RAWK or RedCafe, I do not get a headache from the layout. Brilliant stuff, Jim. The only thing worse than users bickering is when other users complain about the bickering. I'm aware of the irony and double standard in that statement. If you think it's bad here, go read another club's forum for a few hours.
  11. It isn't going to happen, but I would really like Chelsea to sign this guy. Personally I don't believe that he is a big fish, small pond type player. Someone like Carrol is a small pond player, because he is very one dimensional, whereas Fletcher is not one dimensional. Fletcher and score with his head and feet and is very comfortable on the ball.
  12. http://www.ibtimes.com/sportsnet/soccer/chelsea-transfer-news-target-micah-richards_649.htm @cfc444, mentioned this in the Azpilicueta thread. This seems very unlikely to me given that there are no quotes and that is the only source I can find in Google News.
  13. Richards is powerhouse on the attack, but I'm not sold on his defending.
  14. No that is a fan site. Similar to our "WeAin'tGotNoHistory.com'. http://www.om.net/en/home/0/Accueil
  15. Oscar better be prepared to give up his number 11 shirt if Neymar does ever join.
  16. Does anyone have Nani's assist stats? I know they are better than Ronaldo's but I want to see how much better.
  17. Bravo United you have successfully strengthened your strongest position.

  19. He is officially the most fouled player in Europe. As of last season, anyway.
