If I learnt anything from this game is that a few users shouldn't allowed to be near computers or anything with access to the internet when Chelsea lose. Mainly because they don't shut the fuck up.

See the difference between ManCity and Barça is that ManCity took shots outside the box.

He hasn't signed yet. Everton have accepted a bid and that is all. Of course he probably will sign, but it isn't finished yet.

Clever. RD you should be ashamed, you just got schooled in English by a man that doesn't even speak it as a first language.

Yeah, Coutinho was a beast at Espanyol last season, so it would be foolish not to use him. As we discussed earlier Stramaccioni was a youth coach at Inter and I belive he will be using a lot of youth next season.

AC Milan were destroyed by Real Madrid 5-1....it's not looking up for Italian football at the moment.
-
No! I love this hipster, sonofabitch.

It's kind of upsetting too, because underneath all it's negative publicity the French Ligue was very, very exciting and very insane. What other major league in Europe can lay claim to having it's two best clubs (Lyon & Marseille) having a 5-5 draw? Sure it doesn't have the incredible superstars of England or the mega clubs of Spain or even the history of Italy, but for a while it was crazy entertaining. Oh well, I can just continue with the Bundesliga. COME ON DORTMUND! WOOT! WOOT! At least they have rules preventing foreign investment.

I created you. I'm the only reason you won. I AM GOD OF THE NEW WORLD!

They won't win. They were pathetic in the Euro League last season and Zlatan is a known failure in the Champions League. Besides they will have minimal to no chemistry within the team and if they don't offload some players quick they are going to have quite a few unhappy campers. You have to look on the flipside, PSG may just become that team that everyone is sick of winning all the time. In France, since Lyon's seven year period of domination ended there has been a different champion every season, I don't know about you but I believe the Ligue 1 was domestically (not European wise, they are faltering in that domain) healthier before PSG became P$G. In England Chelsea's cash injection was good for competiton seeing as every year it was Arsenal v Manchester United. But for the last five or so years the Ligue 1 was an oddball, no one could really judge who was going to win it, but with PSG miles ahead in terms of talent, I see a only grim days for every other club in the Ligue 1. 07-08 Lyon 08-09 Bordeaux 09-10 Marseille 10-11 Lille 11-12 Montepellier

I've had a titful of people saying that Torres would score goals if we did this or did or that or if he played for this team. When I see him play I see a guy that is afraid of shooting, afraid that if takes a chance he will miss and I believe there is not much that can change that. He struggles when he plays for Spain and they have Xavi, Alonso, Iniesta, Mata, Navas, Pedro, Silva and Carzola. Two goals against Ireland and one against 10 man Italy just doesn't convince me. Not only that bit he drops deep and drifts out wide too often and tries to dictate play and hold the ball up. He practically plays like Emile Heskey - a striker that is afraid of being a striker. Instead of taking a chance they will either pass or try and dribble into a better shooting position (which more often than not loses the ball). Torres is far more talented than this, he is still rather quick, has good ball control and first touch, good finishing (when he does finish). So why does he try to play like this? Why will he come good? Because the squad is stronger? Why does he need other players to make him better? If he was so great in the first place 1. He wouldn't need the best team in the world to score and 2. He wouldn't have had a two year period of sucking. He lacks the strikers instinct.

Whomever said Chelsea are trying to replace Drogba? I was under the impression the club was trying to move away from the old school target man style.
-
That is not a fact at all. That is only a hypothetical situation.
-
Well it will give me another player to sell on FIFA...
-
As Caligula said: "I live!" the same can be applied to the Prediction League.
-
Because Liverpool is so like mainstream. Gosh, you wouldn't even know that club I play for, they are super Indie.
-
Robben would be an Inside Forward. 9 times out of ten Robben will try to beat his marker and shoot at goal 30 yards out. The Robben of Chelsea is long dead. Ribery is ambidexterous so it doesn't really matter what side he is played on, I would call him an attacking midfielder, but unlike someone like Mata his isn't that great when played through the middle.
-
We still have no wingers. We have not had any proper wingers since Robben and Duff. I really wany a player that will stay out wide and give width. He doesn't need to cross the ball in or anything like that, just stay out wide, to create space and prevent congestion in the middle, which is what is going to happen. That is the reason I don't want Hulk, becuase he is going to look to shoot before passing and is going to cut inside like Robben too often.
-
Hazard and Mata have played on the wings but by no means are they wingers, they are very much attacking midfielders, and Hazard never played in the middle for Lille (as they play the 4-3-3) and has only done so a few times for Belgium and Chelsea. Valencia is a winger, you know why he is a winger? Because he stays out wide and gives the team width. Mata and Hazard have never given width to teams nor is their job to. Winger = Antonio Valencia, Angel Di Maria Attacking Midfielder = Juan Mata, Eden Hazard Inside Forward = Hulk, Cristiano Ronaldo Wide Midfielder = Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Florent Malouda Seconday Striker = Alesandro Del Piero, Zlatan Ibrahimovic Target Man = Didier Drogba, Alan Shearer Poacher = Fernando Torres, Alex Pato You see just because they occupy the same area of the pitch doesn't mean they are the same type of player. Mata, Valencia and Hulk can all play out wide but do they do the same thing? No they don't.
-
Oscar, Hazard, Mata will all drift towards the centre limiting width. All three will also try to dictate play and probably just end up getting in each other's way.

Sod off, I still put 30 minutes of work into this, reading, editing, researching, looking for photographs. Don't marginalise my contributions.
