  1. In my opinion, the fowards do not have to track back, however they must always close down the the ball player. Consider the terminology as follow, a player should close down the ball player if the ball player is within a 10 metre radius and the tracking back is running 30 metres or so to get in line with or just in front of the defence. I think strong foward players like Moses should track back, whereas the more nimble players like Mata, Oscar and Hazard should ruthlessly hound the ball players. If Messi can hound players, I believe that Juan, Dos Santos and Eden are more than able. IF that makes any sense.
  2. Though to be fair 'tap ins' aren't something you can really teach to a player.
  3. He has an amazing eye for tap ins.
  4. Well, that's just like your opinion man.
  5. I never said he would, in fact I said the opposite. Got to bed, you're drunk.
  6. Usually managers offer either style or success. Mourinho is a success manager while AVB is a style manager. I don't know where Robbie fits in but it wasn't what Roman wants; both style and success. That is why he so fixiated on Pep Guardiola, in him Roman sees they ultimate manager. A manager that can bring the sleek attacking football and trophies. I don't agree with Roman, I see Pep's Tiki Taka football too slow and methodical. It's boring to watch, but it's sure as hell efficient. To this day Mourinho has played the best football I've ever seen at all of his managed clubs. I like quick, fast and incisive football, I've mentioned it before and so have many others but Brasil '82 is what every big team should strive towards.
  7. Did anyone else feel that RDM was losing the lockeroom? The players seemed uninterested and ill disciplined.
  8. At least we can rest easy knowing that if he could be forgotten before as a player, he could never be forgotton now. He is still really young, he has more than enough time to become a really great manager.
  9. More than deserves the starting spot for club and country. I get the feeling this is the type of bloke you don't want your girlfriend (or boyfriend...) to meet. It's not that he would try to steal them off you, he is far too nice for that, but because he is so damn handsome they'd just fall in love with him at first sight.
  10. So well so good, this match is anxious as all hell though.
  11. A no nonsense CB would be great, a defender that worries about defending and nothing else. Gazza and Davey Boy try to do everthing, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Also someone like Cabaye or Moutinho would be great. Not necessary, but great.
  12. Mashpotato would be a good signing. I don't want Agger or Skittles though.
  13. I was just confused because I'd have thought Brasil = Brasilian but in one of your posts you used Brasil and Brazilian. But let's forget about it!
  14. Haha, don't worry about it. You've done nothing wrong. You answered my question perfectly. Toronto was just ranting about nonsense. He just thinks it is pretentious for English speakers to call Paris, Paree or Munich, Munchen or Vienna, Wien. You follow me?
  15. Don't worry Toronto I understand you. I understand...
  16. At least Pep has a vision and isn't a complete ass like Big Phil or the other guy. Or Old 'Arry could be the gaffer, he plays good attractive football even if he is a complete and utter illiterate twat. Mark Hughes could be a good shout too, he has experience with Brazilians too, Fabio and Julio. I know it's Brasil not Brazil but is the demonym 'Brasilian' or 'Brazilian'?
  17. Enjoy your Tiki Taka bullshit, rmpr! Haha. Brasil deserves to play direct football. How can any neutral just not love the Seleção when they are at their best?
  18. Sorry guys, I've said before I'm cursed. If I fall asleep during a game, Chelsea never a wins. And I've been falling asleep during games a lot lately...
  19. I don't know what's going on because I'm drunk but I support @We Hate Scouse, I got yo back!
  20. Well, that would be in support of the Chelsea Headhunters. I imagine the Lazio supporters have much respect for the headhunters due to the similarities in philosophy. Racism, jingoism, nationalism, racism, working class, racism. Right wing nutters, really.
  21. While his technical skills leave a lot deisred, I believe when playing fast, direct and attacking football his mobility, pace and energy does major damage. On the counter just getting the ball to him a postion where he can sprint, should result in a goal everytime.
  22. Imitating Brasil '82 would be more than fantastic. They could do everything and anything. So much talant and flair...my god. Here is a hypothetical team I would like to see, it might suck in real life but on paper...
