IMO Ramires should be 3rd or 4th option in the double pivot, not 1st or 2nd. He's not a DM, and not a DLP. A good pivot should be 2 of these players: Schweini-Martinez. Gundogan-Bender. And Khedira is just a meh player, who puts in average or worse performances almost every week. Nothing special and that is why Madrid will let him leave, only to go out and get a better player lol. If we can get Modric or Moutinho that'd be great, if not i would play Oscar beside a new DM. Indeed. That strike force can't win us the league, let alone the CL.

First off i'm not even comparing Mikel and Ramires, i just saw Leif's post which completely ignored Ramires' flaws. Ramires is not a good passer* And while he gets an average 3 tackles a game he commits many fouls in the process - 53 in 35 games PL games, 21 in 8 EL games. Just the past 2 games alone, he's committed like 12 fouls * Mikel has a ridiculously high passing percentage, but a lot of times he passes sideways. Same applies with Ramires, when he tries a harder pass, he almost always fails.

I knew someone would bring up stats, now this might work for other players in other leagues, but not for a team i watch twice every week. I don't need stats to tell me Ramires misses too many easy passes, or that he lunges into every single tackle, even those he can't win.

Oscar plays out of position every game, and has hardly had a break the past 12 months, hard to just say KDB is better than him.
