Oscar can't continue to be wasted on the wings, we can groom him to play in the very same role some want Thiago to play here. Maybe even KDB also.
-
Because that was my point, smh. Hazard, Mata and Oscar are too similar, which is why our play is so narrow. Moses - before Afcon - made a big difference whenever he was in the team and Schurrle can do the same if he settles in well. This way there is an option out wide for Mata, Mikel, or whoever is playing centrally, when the opposition decide to pack the middle of the pitch.
-
Mikel consistenly makes good passes whenever i watch him for Nigeria, regardless of opposition. He has more freedom as they're 2 other combative midfielders beside him, and also like i said during the African Nations Cup, Nigeria's forwards look to make runs in behind just like Ideye did for that pass. But at Chelsea you have Hazard, Oscar and Mata just standing in the middle and passing the ball sideways Edit: From what i've seen of Schurrle, he's a different type of player, and he stays wider a lot of times - able to get behind fullbacks.
-
He must score against Tahiti, no excuse. Yeah he's not an elite striker, but he scores just as many goals as any striker you put him up against. Plus he's better than Torres and Ba combined, so i'd sleep easily if we're going into the season with Soldado, Lukaku and one of Torres or Ba - instead of Torres, Ba and Lukaku. He also shouldn't cost anything more than 25m, so we will have no problem still improving the pivot and getting a CB.

Most anticipated game of the tournament!!
-
On topic, his performance today was like when i watched him vs Bayern at Allianz. Did nothing all game, couldn't even hold onto the ball as the Bavarians bossed the game and Mario Goal-mez got a hat-trick Now it's not really a fair way to judge him, that's basically 2 games vs 2 really good teams with a clearly inferior side. I'm sure if his side played better and created chances for him, he would have scored - but this is something many other strikers can do, and they don't cost 63m
-
You're usually always spot on, but not on this. Soldado is quality, check his goal record at Valencia, he has been the highest scoring Spanish striker for a while now, but Del Bosque wrongly ignored him. Now he has gotten his chance and i cant see anyone displacing him atm. Would love him here, and i've actually said this twice before and has nothing to do with his goal today.
-
The one playing Soldado onside? that was Pereira from Benfica.
-
We should sign Soldado, i have posted about him twice previously, would be a shame if he goes to fucking Spurs.
-
Soldado is up there this game.

The thing is, these countries put forward a bid to host the WC. Nobody forced it on them, so cases like that of South Africa is just ridiculous, they should have used their money for the betterment of the public, instead of wanting to host the WC. And yeah if i were South African, i would rightly be upset as the Brazilians are atm.
-
Well that's what they said lol. Obviously they're underlying money reasons, but still nice for different countries to host, instead of same old, same old.
-
They're trying to spread the hosting to as many countries as possible? I get your point though, and i just read about the protests and problems in Brazil today, so away from the football aspect - which is all i was defending - you are right.
-
Super Mario, that was very well done.
-
This forum has had enough stupid posts and insults the past few weeks, for this reason alone i'll try to ignore this.
-
It's not as if Brazil were just told about the confederations cup, everyone knows it takes place a year before the world cup and other host countries are better prepared. So it's not FIFA's fault if they don't have their shit together, they have been given the hosting rights many years ago, to get ready for 2013 - a warm-up tournament before the main event.
-
Hernandez! Good game atm.
-
Magician.

Well, i don't see any problem with champions from each continent coming up against each other in the summer - when there's no club football. At least there's something for the fans to watch, while we anxiously wait for the start of the next season. About players - if they're not fit, they don't have to play. But the majority of them want to, because it's a trophy at the end of the day.... against the best 7 teams from other continents.
-
What's 'joke' about it? it's a WC warm-up, not only for the teams, but for the country hosting. Chance to test security, the state of the stadiums etc. And for the teams, they play their best 11 so it's a chance to measure up against other teams that might be looking to win the WC.

He was so-so last season, but before that was pathetic.
-
Wow, grade A cunt.
-
Spot on. Bayern with Mandzukic a good example.
-
And shoot whoever gave Benayoun that number in the first place.
