  1. what did he do? Hazard is injured and don't know where Mikel has been past 4 games.
  2. He is not a very good finisher, and the number of goals he has scored does not prove anything - there's been quite a few pens and some sexy stunners. I just mean he can get better in 1v1 situations, I can remember him missing 5 or 6 so far (Basel, Juve, Utd home, Norwich away and a couple more). Now its not exactly a big deal, since he's not a striker, but to get to that next level he will need to work on this.
  3. Dzeko is like a poor man's Lewandowski. And also it will depend on exactly the type of striker we're looking for - in either case, Dzeko shouldn't be anywhere near top of the list - i'm not sure because some people seem to think we need a player similar to Drogba who can hold people off etc, but i personally want a poacher. The amount of chances Mazacar create already and can create will only increase with someone not only making good runs, but also someone who's able to finish off chances. We've not had Drogba this season, but we have played great football in a lot of games but lack the top finisher we need.
  4. Higuain is way better than Dzeko. I never watched the latter in the Bundesliga, but he has really not impressed me in his time at City.
  5. Yep, Ribery. They both play very similar and are average at finishing lol.
  6. He hasn't changed that much i guess lol.
  7. It will be funny if he doesn't end up here after all the wankfest of the past few days. But i will feel sorry for the manager who takes over, because people will still be crying about Jose.
  8. Lol right, our season was already ruined before Rafa - from Man utd game to be precise - and then he was given a tough job of not only reviving the team but also to deal with a quite ridiculous atmosphere. This obviously played a part in his less than impressive start here, and it's no surprise that since the fans stopped the excessive abuse the team has performed better and are ending the season well.
  9. I thought they hated each other
  10. sigh, Hazard wasn't any unknown talent but we still had scouts watching him every game, even Ferguson went to see himself what he's all about. Same with Falcao, who Man utd had scouts watching at Atletico's last game. So randomly hating on Emenalo for wanting to see Neymar is quite ridiculous.
  11. Too old, he's part of the main reason Madrid got demolished at Dortmund, couldn't keep up with their young energetic players. Reminds me of Lampard in a lot of games, early on in the season.
  12. Some *trying not to use any offensive word, cough* people don't know what he has been doing, but just love to hate for no apparent reason. He's in the position he is now for a reason, no sentiment involved.
  13. Striker more needed than Varane and Shaw.
  14. Stupid itv as usual. But for sure Jose is leaving now.
  15. Fair enough, my point is just over the years i've found the telegraph to be a pretty good source.
  16. Lmao, he's done some really stupid things lately, but also some good things so still on my good side. If he can get that win at OT, which will most likely lead to getting top 4, i say give him an extension
  17. Tbf, telegraph is more reliable than any source i've seen saying Mourinho "will definitely" return.
  18. This will be the year Wigan finally go down.
  19. If you can't pick Ronaldo, then the answer can only be Di maria. On his day he an be a real joy to watch and something very different to what we have. Modric was good in the prem before, but i prefer Moutinho or Banega to him. And the rest of their squad is pretty meh to me - minus Ozil who we don't need - their defence is nothing close to other Jose Mourinho team's, and their strikers are so inconsistent these days.
  20. Well i personally didn't want him to make any changes in the 2nd half. I hate when we're trying to defend leads and take off Mata and Hazard - the 2 best players at keeping the ball and creating chances. This only increases the pressure we come under because not only are the other team pushing everyone forward, but we can't hold on to the ball - exactly like the Liverpool game. Against Swansea, even in the 90th minute we had a good chance, something that wouldn't have happened if Benayoun etc were brought on imo.
  21. I believe the adapting period applies less to forwards, than midfielders and defenders. Look at Aguero and Michu who scored lots of goals in la liga, they came to the PL and even scored at a better rate. Torres also did the same when he just joined Liverpool from Atleti.
