Forget about linking up play, at the end of the day a strikers job is to score goals, and at a club fighting on all fronts you need more than the average shit we have had the past couple seasons. It would be nice to have our striker scoring around 30 goals in a season, someone who you can rely on in the box, regardless of opposition. I don't care if its Gomez, Falcao, Higuain or Chicarito, add one of them to Demba and i will be pretty happy.

Not really. But what's so bad about the st scoring? i like the way goals are distributed around the team, but there are games where the striker just gets nothing to work with and that's not good. We need to be able to get our strikers scoring regularly, and if any others can add goals then great.

I've been in favour of him for quite a long time. It's hard to win trophies when you manage Villareal and Malaga, but he did get Villareal to semi-finals of CL and was 1 minute away from doing the same with Malaga. Not to mention both sides did well in the league under him. Real was different though, he failed to solve the round of 16 curse but the 96 points in the league is no easy task, even in la liga. If Mourinho is a no-go then imo he is and should be 1st choice.
