  1. I already said it, that if he wouldn't have been converted into a DM he could have been a great CM or AM with a lot of promising creativity and other well-developed attacking skills. Maybe that was one of Jose's biggest mistakes, to preapare Mikel for Maka's holding midfielder job. I really like Mikel's style and I believe if a coach would allow him the offensive latitudes Ramires and Lampard and all the other midfielders are allowed he could make his impact on the game, ergo he would be more rated.
  2. Our crowd at SB has to be louder! Even I sing as loud as I can while being in a sports bar or at home watching games and everybody just stares at me as if I'm not normal. All you guys who are able to watch matches at the Bridge, show everyone that you are proud to be a Chelsea fan!
  3. Win this game, take the 3 points and prepare for the next game.
  4. I'll grow myself a beard if Chelsea start a winning streak tomorrow...
  5. I was looking for the FIFA 11 ratings of our players on Google (lol) and I got to this page and registered because I had to sign up to take a look at the ratings. Firstly I wasn't active on the forums 'cause I was a very active member of another one but when I got pissed off because of the users of the other forums I decided to give it a try here. And here I am now, an active user since summer, and I really appreciate all the great discussions on these forums
  6. Betwixt and between. As long as he's a Chelsea player I'll support him like every other player of CFC.
  7. Can't see it happening... UEFA and FIFA won't let it go through, I think, 'cause they'll probably want to be the first ones who introduce such an improvement...
  8. By this time tomorrow we'll have a new coach...
  9. Three words: Cech is worldclass. nuff said...
  10. What a great first touch from Drogba before scoring the goal!
  11. Atleast we didn't make any stupid mistake that would have Leverkusen in front^^
  12. So, he'd solve our problems of lacking creativity and having no real wingers?
  13. Even though I wasn't a Chelsea fan until 2004 I remember Eidur very good. He was my favourite striker when I started watching Chelsea games...
  14. Because we can't even offer Josh the playing time he needs.
  15. Finally I got the album I've been waiting so long for! And I only had to pay 30€ instead of 200€!
  16. As Sh0n3x said we have to buy players who can play from the first day the arrive first team football. We should be lookin' for players between 23-27 years, so, no more kids like Sergi Roberto.
  17. Just have a look at Terry's last 3 years' stats... Games played: 2010/11: 46 2009/10: 51 2008/09: 51 I mean, for a defender like Terry who's always playing at 110% it has been too many games imo... he has played 12 games this season already and if he continous to do so he'll end up having played another 45 games. If we use him in the right matches he can play till he's 35 without losing much of his qualities but he has been overplayed in the last years and if we keep doing that he'll have to give his starter job away in the next 2 years.
  18. We don't need him, we've got Josh who's even better.
  19. Time will tell. I believe that AVB has the talent to be a great coach but we have to wait atleast for the next 6 months to see if we are progressing. Progressing means we have to sell some of the older players if we really want the team to develop. I've always said Lamps, Terry and Drogs are legends, and I'll say that also in future, but for the club's future these players have to be benched like every other guy if they're not adapting to the system and not showing the efforts that are needed for the club's success. This season will be a hard one, and every single person who thought we'll be in title race this season didn't get that this season will decide about the future of Chelsea FC. I don't care if we don't win any titles this year as long as the team shows that it has a future and it's ready to step up for its own ambitions. Mourinho, Scolari, Hiddink and Anchelotti had have almost perfect squads, AVB has to deal with a squad of old superstars and very promising, young players so there's no point in saying "it's almost the same team, why don't they have success?!". And if we, fans, don't support our coach, there's no sense in keeping him because even Roman won't resist the pressure of the fans' tattle someday even though AVB is maybe the right coach for us. We as the whole club have to show confidence and represent us as a unity. Only then there will be peace.
  20. Our defense needs Terry, he has been our #1 CB, leader, captain for the last years but AVB has to play with the normal line of defending if he wants Terry to be a part of our defense because there's no sense in playing a system that doesn't suit to the defender who is considered to be our best CB. If that's changed I really believe that Terry would produce less mistakes. To answer the threads question: No, it's not the end of Terry's days but he's past his prime.
  21. The girl (well, even when she knew about my feelings for her...) I'd like to talk to in such moments is a ManU fan
  22. Feeling like I'd like to punch someone but as there's nobody I have to kick against my furniture...
