I am fine with Krasic, but i would have a problem if he is our only signing beside Cahill.

I am guessing this response is toward me. We are strongly linked with Krasic and even his agent has admitted interest from chelsea. So i don't think i am wrong thinking that Krasic is the most likely candidate Is he not average? He was only good for 2-3 months with Juve, played out of his mind for that short stint and the rest of his Juve career has mirrored performances of Kalou and Malouda.

Its probably Krasic, another average player at best.

I won't hold him to high standard in this window, because i understand the circumstances that goes on in January, but he needs to do enough to make sure we finish in the top 4.

The January transfer window is important, he has to bring the right reinforcements. Identifying a team needs is an important aspect of a successful manager lets see how AVB does. He didn't do a good job in the summer.

Not really worried about this whole Romeu situation. If he stays then that is fantastic, if he goes back to Barca then oh well we will find someone as good as him in a year or two. I think he is more suited for Chelsea then Barca tbh, unless he plays CB at Barca. He doesn't have great positioning sense, he gives a lot of space for the opposition midfield. While Busquets has amazing positioning sense and which makes him untouchable player in their system.

He is definitely not going to be sold for anything over 50m. Would be a great signing for any team. He is the type of signing you know he will be an instant success. I think people are underrating him to say that he is not worth anything over 35,25,or 20? I won't bring up the Torres and Carroll transfer fee to make my point because i see that as unproductive their transfer fee was due to unusual circumstances , and personally i every time when someone say "player X is worth (insert number) since Torres and Carroll went for 50m and 35m respectively. Lets look at players like Aguero, Falcao, Sanchez, and Pastore. Two of them went for over 40m and the other 2 went for late in the 30m region. By most Hulk is considered a more valuable player, proven, and more productive. Also with the exception of Falcao, their club was more then willing to sell their players. When you consider all of those players transfer fees, i think he is easily worth 40m and anything between 40-50m is a fair price.

I am pretty sure Sergi Roberto buyout clause is under 10m, and as i said the other two are average at best. Sergi Roberto is a CM/AM like Lampard and Iniesta. Torres would not fit in at Barca, they are not direct enough for his playing style. Hence why he struggles with the Spanish national team, but before he flourished under Luis Aragones more direct team.

Sergi Roberto is really good player, he is going to be something special in Barca midfield. Montoya and Cuenca are average and i don't think they will ever be regulars for Barca.

Would really love this player at Chelsea, on talent he is definitely on the same level as Neymar and Hazard.

Signing Higuain would be a massive mistake imo. I don't think the club should commit to another striker, especially a one dimensional player such as Higuain. We already have a player like Higuain, he is on the bench. This a team is in a identity crisis, we should first resolve our playing style. Higuain would not fit in a 4-3-3 flat, simply because strikers in that formation need to drop back and help in the building scoring chances. Hence why Drogba is so important to the team. He is absolutely nothing like RVP, Van Persie is so much more complete player and he contributes much more to the team. Higuain will give you goals, but you have to give him a lot of services. He is dependent on services as much as Torres. Hiquain is also a player infamously known to disappear in big games and his CL goal scoring ratio is pretty much on Kalou level. Not a player known to be a match winner.

To me Krasic is on the same level as Ashly Young, decent players but not good enough for top sides.

Cahill is more of a stopper then sweeper.

Look at United or City, they don't sign players just to be a "backup", they sign players who they believe is good enough to compete for a starting squad. This is a type of signing Arsenal and Liverpool would make.

If we sign Krasic and Cahill then i would be really worried, there is nothing good about signing a bunch of mid table players. Cahill is no where good as Terry or Luiz, our backups should be good enough to compete and challenge for their spot. Cahill can not do that, we can do much better then him.

I have always said Ferreira > Bosingwa. Last season then preseason Ferreira has constantly outperformed Bosingwa.

I wonder if he can correct those things, because to me his poor finishing and losing the ball is due to poor decision making and overall lack of football brain.

Piazon seems like a good talent, but tbh he doesn't really stand out. I mean for a player that we spend 10m you would expect him to outshine his peers, but maybe that says a lot about how talented our youngsters are.

So he struggled with Leicester, he isn't the only CB that has struggled at one time or another and had a hard time settling in with his new team. ex: I watched Vincent Kompany on a regular basis for HSV, and he was the weak link of that defense and a flop signing. Now look at him now he is the best CB in the PL and arguably the best CB in the world. Bruma is quality he showed that during his time with theReserves and now with Hamburg. Really think you are being unfair judging Bruma quality solely based on his Leicester stay. Cahill is not Chelsea quality, a mid table player imo.

I really don't know much about Rodwell, and every time i have caught a Everton game he was not playing. lol
