When you go to a United forum and they're scared at the prospect of Rooney playing in front of Mata, Hazard, Oscar, ect you know it'd be a good buy. Seems like one of those signings that many here would be up in arms about, but once he started scoring loads you'll go to the Megastore and order a Rooney shirt. If we can't get Lewandowski and Roo is indeed there to be had, I'd be delighted.

He's one of only 3 players in the league this season along with Mata and Walcott with double digit goals and assists. And that's whilst playing out of position and having to share the field with RvP.He did just come off of a 30 goal season as well. If he is played where he should be up top with great service, he'll be back to his best. Especially under Jose potentially.

This.Rooney is a lot like John Terry in the sense that whenever the media slate him or he's embroiled in any kind of controversy he seems to come out and play extremely well.
