In my opinion, Arsenal won't be nearly as flukey and lucky without RvP, Spuds will lose Modric and won't be as strong, and I'm not so sure Newcastle will be as good as they were.3rd is the lowest I can see us finishing as long as we're healthy. I think we're probably just as good as United now, and with a those three signings stated above, we'd be right there with City.

Hulk + Oscar + Azpilicueta = Chelsea being co-favorite, if not prohibitive favorite for the prem title. Hulk is the most important piece to the puzzle. A must buy in my opinion. Even if it takes £35-38m, we should just do it. Shirt sales and new sponsorship will ensure we won't be regretting it later. I know he'll be a success here. DO IT ROMAN!

You would think Levy would just lower the price a bit to get him away from the club ASAP as to hurry and find a replacement, but no...now that bastard is demanding MORE! Watch him force Modric to stay another season.
-
Find it amusing that AVB was trying to unsettle Modric last season, and is now the one bitching about hm wanting out. Just looking at that smug, bald, penny pinching cunt of a chairman Levy makes me want to punch my iPad screen. I'm way past wanting him here, but for the sake of Luka's career ambitions, let the man leave your small time club and join a big club. He says Modric is a player worth £40-50m, yet he pays him £40k a week like a scrub. Hypocrite.

You have no excuses now, Fernando! You have until January.

Lukaku CERTAINLY needs a loan spell. You just see in a game like this against proper opponents that he's out of his depth. Kakuta as well. Just not up to par. When Mikel gets the ball, the game just seems to freeze. Lamps was impressive, but we can't get any sustained possession in the midfield. We need to play with more width and get it out wide. They seemed a lot more vulnerable there than when we tried going through the middle. Lukaku just looked so uncoordinated when the ball came his way. Like his body's too big for him and he hasn't grown into it yet. A wide man like Hulk could really come in handy in times like this.

Sky's now running the Internacional Presidents quotes now. Now let's just secure Hulk and unveil them both after the Olympics.
-
Anything that weakens Le Arse I'm all for. We should be praying just as hard as Arsenal fans that he doesn't go to United. That's trouble for all of us. The longer the saga plays out, though, the less time Arsenal will have to find a replacement. Bad thing about that is, if it takes too long, he may end up staying which makes them a threat.
-
This, exactly. Let him focus on helping his country win gold for the first time in their history without the added media attention and constant spotlight on him every time he's in public. He'll be ours soon enough.
-
A midfield with Hazard, Mata, and Oscar in it would be among the top 3 in world football with Madrid and Barca. Oscar looks silky smooth just like Hazard did the other night.
-
Chelsea transfer target plays... TalkChelsea crashes... Hahaha
-
Being reported around the net that he can be had for between £20-25m. If reports that we're in for Cavani are true, why not at least test their resolve and save £10-15m? Only real downside is his age.
-
You think Spuds can afford his £38m transfer fee AND his £100k+per week wages? Don't see how.
-
Some of those turns from Hazard! Mmmmmm Lukaku is even bigger than I recall. An absolute BEAST.
-
Remember that Sounders are renowned for having some of the best fans in MLS(for what it's worth) so expect a huge turnout. The stadium is designed with special acoustic properties as well, I believe and Seattle Seahawks games are said to be the loudest in the NFL when the crowds are going. People unfamiliar with the look of the stadium should be impressed also. Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen owns the team and made sure everything is beautiful.

Hazard slots it in to Lukaku....GOAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!1 I'm calling it.
-
City have Tevez, Balotelli, Aguero, and Dzeko. United have Rooney, Welbeck, Berbatov, and Chicharito. In other words, people who are saying we're "set" at striker with Torres, a talented but flawed Sturridge, and a 19 year old who has next to ZERO Premier League experience, are simply wrong. With Lukaku almost certainly going out on loan, I think we'll almost certainly bring another goal scoring forward in.
-
FFP? HAHAHAHA
-
Yeah, I'm not really a Torres slappy and I'd feel bad if he struggles again, but I just won't feel super confident if we went into the season with only him and Sturridge as our options up front. Its sad to say, but I think the only way Cavani can be brought in is if Sturridge is shipped to a club like Spuds or Liverpool who are willing to pay large fee's and are desperate for a player in his mold. We could use that cash to partially fund Cavani/Falcao/whoever.
-
People constantly saying this would unsettle Fernando and that he'd puss out and withdraw into his turtle shell again if we brought in another top striker. What if it had the opposite effect and made him more confident? He could take more chances and risks knowing he doesn't have to be the one shouldering the load up front on his own. He may flourish with a Cavani or Falcao partnered with him and it could alleviate some of the immense pressure that his transfer fee has on him.
-
Mata looks like he weighs about 80 lbs as well. He did fine. Players like David Silva and Modric are tiny, too.
-
Forgot the curly geezer!
-
Don't see how they could possibly afford him. They'd have to use every bit of the money from Modric's transfer fee, and even then, they couldn't afford his wages.
-
Nope. Kits.I would take the kid Ox, though.
-
Arsenal has.....nice kits. Sorry, that's the only positive thing I can say about them.
