When comparing the two, I'd say Hulk has more bust potential. He's more what we need and I think he'd be brilliant, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if he didn't live up to the hype. Cavani on the other hand is as close to a sure fire player as there is. Think he'd rip the prem apart. Too close to call for me as to which I'd prefer.

Wouldn't be surprised if Levy is getting fed up with Madrid not forking over the cash. Less than 2 weeks to find a replacement and another striker, so they'll want to hurry this along. That's where we can come in. I'd say if we offered around £35m they'd sell just to see an end to the saga. He'd make SUCH a difference in our team. I'm sure Lamps wouldn't mind taking a more reduced role with a player of Modric's quality ahead of him.

He may want Madrid now, but if he sees that we're still desperate for him and hears about the project we're building, I'm sure he can be swayed. If someone came up to me and asked me to forfeit 3 months wages to see Arsenal finish 8th, I'd do it in heartbeat. I fucking HATE their supporters more than those of any other club. Few things could please me more than seeing Arsenal suffer. Only person I respect is Wenger. You see what he does with shit squads like he's had recently. Kagawa, Powell, and RvP went to United strictly for trophies and history and earn their salaries in cheeseburgers rather than £. You aren't a merc if you go to Manchester United, only Chelsea and City. It's like they think the players they bring in are free. They may spend in excess of £50m this window, but if City go and spend £52m, Sir Alex will say "that's stupid money." £32m for Hazard, a 21 year old future superstar is "ridiculous," but spending £25m on a 30 year old glass striker is "brilliant" business. So brilliant that Wenger said that United were the only club close to that price. In his own little world old red face is.

So Sir Alex has been quoted this morning as saying that there could be another signing this window if a particular player is available. Bet you it's Moutino. If so, when a United fan says Chelsea or City "buy the league," they get a nice backhand slap. If what they're doing isn't trying to buy the title back from City, I wonder what they call it.

I agree that we'd need more goal scoring reinforcement if they got RvP. We saw how dangerous that City team can be and they weren't even at full strength, and if United add a player of RvP's class while we have only Torres and Sturridge as options at front, I just find it very hard to picture us being there with those two clubs.Doesn't have to be Cavani, but we NEED more to challenge for that title.
