  1. Still think we can finish above United, especially if we take Rooney from them but even without him, but I agree with Fernando a few posts above. City are stacked in the exact two areas we're lacking so I think they'll win the league this year. My predictions if the season were to start tomorrow: 1) City 2) Chelsea 3) United 4) Spurs
  2. Inter are SHIT now. No way he goes back there.
  3. People mentioning a Ramires/MvG partnership really think that's disciplined enough defensively to work against top sides? Both of them are more offensive minded players who want to get forward a lot. De Rossi would be the perfect player to sit back and allow one of Ramires/Lamps/MvG to go forward more. The only player we really have who can do that now is Mikel, but he's so slow and immobile and we've seen how that kills us against the likes of City and other sides who will have a lot of the ball against us.
  4. Just seen a quote stating definitively that we won't buy anyone in midfield. Will we see the dreaded Mikel/Lamps partnership again? Who the hell are we gonna line up in midfield to handle Fernandinho/Yaya?
  5. Don't think my little heart can take seeing a Chelsea midfield getting overrun by bottom half sides for another season. Can't imagine us starting the season without adding someone there. Unless Jose feels MvG is ready immediately or that Essien is back to his best.
  6. You can just tell by the way this guy tweets that he's an asshole. If you didn't know better you'd guess it was some teenager.
  7. Checked this guys twitter and he seems like the ultimate ass wipe, so I'm not really keen to believe a word of what he says.
  8. A certain big name striker, huh? Wonder what would be more exciting news, Rooney on his way in or La Niña in his way out?
  9. Please don't tell me we're on about Hazard's ass again?
  10. If Wilshere stayed healthy and when on form, he's world class. If he'd have stayed fit for the past few seasons we'd probably be hearing near Bale type money for him since he's English and all.If I had to make a wild guess I'd say he's probably worth £30m right now.
  11. That's the type of player they should be bringing in. Think they'll try, but Levy won't sell to them.
  12. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAOkay, Wenger. We'll give you Mata for Wilshere + £15m.
  13. Baines is great no doubt, but its just funny that a club as massive as United can't seem to sign world class stars and have to resort to stealing players from Moyes' average Everton side.A club like that should be signing a higher caliber player than Fellaini.
  14. Yep. It's like if a player doesn't have a sparkly clean past then many here don't want him. Even if he'd massively improve us. I'd have Ibra or Suarez without question.
  15. How embarrassing would it be for United if they miss out on yet another top target? Especially after publicly and officially saying they've bid for him. They're gonna have to poach Everton players like Baines and Fellaini soon because no top players want to play for Moyes when other top sides are after them. It actually might be beneficial to us if they do get Cesc in reality. Easier for them to sell us Rooney.
  16. We really aren't gonna get him are we? They'll keep an unhappy, want away player just to prove a point.
  17. Okay. I took it as he'd have Rooney before any of what we have.
  18. Who isn't he better than, though? He had a "down year" and put up stats nearly identical to our best player when played out of position. Ba better than him? No. Lukaku? Lets wait and see. Torres better? LOL
  19. I'd be genuinely upset if the Rooney deal doesn't materialize and Arsenal land Suarez. Would be damn embarrassing if not one, not two, but THREE teams had a better strike force than us in England.
  20. Just don't see Jose putting up with Torres' shit performances. I'm as big a fan of Lukaku as anyone, but he's not quite ready to be the unquestioned top dog at a club challenging for every major trophy. If we don't sign Rooney, someone must be bought up front.
  21. Better have Liverpool's # at the ready. Honestly wouldn't put it past these fuckers at United to refuse a player a move even if he puts in a transfer request. They know they're in trouble next season with Fergie gone and are literally terrified of what Rooney will do for us. Suarez wouldn't be the worst fall back option.
  22. I don't rate Jovetic very highly and feel he's been grossly overhyped. Fernandinho I feel will be great for them and make their midfield even more formidable. Navas is the one who I think will surprise everyone. If he settles nicely I think he'll be a real handful for most teams.Their back 4 is probably the best in the league. Also can't see Aguero having another down year. City are the team to beat currently.
  23. That side Skipper posted does look insane to be fair. Great defense, immense central midfield, top class attacking midfield, and a world class striker. Still think City will be our bogey side. That is unless we make those two additions I mentioned above. If the season started tomorrow without us making any more signings I think we'd still be behind City slightly. Roo loves playing against them though and I'd love to see De Rossi own Yaya.
  24. We add Rooney and DDR and I think we'll be seeing one hell of a 3 way title race. Also may see 3 english sides make very deep CL runs.
  25. You have to admit it sounds a bit fishy.Scheduling another friendly out of the blue and with us likely loaning them a great young prospect in Wallace.
