  1. Does seem a bit strange.Dembele, Holtby, Sandro, and Scotty Parker.
  2. Yeah, Daily Mail reporting that its worth £300m at £30m per season. Second only to Real Madrid.
  3. Would be nice to see City miss out on their top 2 targets in Cavani and Isco on the same day.
  4. He cites Sky Italy 5 times a day and I've yet to see a single thing that they've got right.Tancedi tweets so much bullshit that I think about un following him sometimes, but he's a funny guy so I still do. Anyways, anyone else quietly concerned about what Arsenal are looking to do? Higuain looks to be imminent and they're also after Fellaini. If they can get Wilshere to stay healthy and Walcott keeps in good form they'll have a nice side. Don't think they'll be pushing for the title like us but I think they could potentially finish thereabouts.
  5. Hopefully Jose plays him only against the relegation fodder and early rounds of the FA and League Cups. If Torres and Ba are staying than Lukaku better be the #1 guy.
  6. Official Chelsea twitter once again posting an article about his opinions about the upcoming season. We really are gonna be stuck with this guy for the remainder of his contract. Hell, our board may even present him with a raise and a contract extension. How they can't see the obvious that everyone and their mother sees is beyond me. HE FUCKING BLOWS AND IS HOLDING BACK A SIDE WITH INSANE POTENTIAL. SELL HIM FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!
  7. And they really took what he said about how they skirt FFP angrily.Truth hurts I suppose.
  8. Was funny how the Napoli owner basically called City cheaters when talking about FFP.
  9. Torres' play was on the way down before he moved here. Rooney had his "worst" season in years and that was while being played out of position and playing second fiddle to RvP. Yet he still put up stats similar to our best player.
  10. Completely agree with all if this. But I actually do think that if Rooney actually went to Moyes and told him that it's time for him to move on to a new challenge and that he wants a change in scenery that he'd be allowed to go. Not ideal for them to sell to a direct rival, but like the RvP signing, they'll get a nice chunk of change and be rid of an unhappy player. I'd happily have us spend £30m on him. He could be a title deciding transfer for us.
  11. If Rooney was played in his natural center forward position like RvP was he'd have scored loads more. He proved that the season before. If Rooney spearheaded an attack with Mata and Hazard behind him I'd bet a substantial amount of money that he'd be amongst the top scorers in the league. And unlike some of the huge money strikers we've been after, Rooney will also provide double digit assists and can play multiple positions.
  12. Anyone still hoping we move for Rooney? I'd rather buy Rooney who's proven for years that he can get it done in the premier league than spend double on Cavani. Just think a rejuvenated and hungry Rooney is a safer bet than splunking a massive fee on another gamble. Hope he's our priority.
  13. Yeah, those two will be big for us, I know. For all that talk about us spending a ton I just kinda expected us to go hard as soon as Jose was installed. Hopefully behind the scenes shit is going down.
  14. So Thiago seems imminent for United and City have already spent £50m with Isco apparently imminent. Both of their squads will look set and they'll have done their business this early. Meanwhile, our squad needs the most work of the 3 and we've yet to hear a single concrete link to a player. Only bs rumors and speculation. I'd have thought we'd be doing similarly and had our targets lined up to move quickly. Guess not.
  15. Should make them favorites again until we get to work in the window. Gutted to see such a good player for so cheap in a position they are in dire need of.
  16. That's it ladies and gents. 50m justified.
  17. Doubt anything will happen until after the tournament. And then even longer after that while he goes on his inevitable holiday. This'll draw on for a while I think.
  18. Addressing their biggest weakness for peanuts. Wasn't particularly worried about a United that may lose Rooney and has Moyes as manager, but if they fill their biggest need with one of the best players available at his position I'd be worried about them again. Still find it unbelievable that Barca wouldn't just assure him that he'll be featuring a lot next season and beyond. Immense talent.
  19. If we do indeed sell Mikel, buying Thiago and a proper DM to put next to him I actually wouldn't mind starting the season with our current strike force. Lukaku with players like Mata, Hazard, Oscar, de Bruyne, and Thiago supplying him would be bonkers.
  20. The more I watch him the less I think of him. If he didn't play for Brazil and his nickname wasn't Hulk I don't think anyone would have really even heard of him. He shows flashes of class but just isn't at all consistent and is a wildy frustrating player.
  21. I was just gonna ask. I popped the game on as he scored and was wondering how he's been otherwise.
  22. Thought the meeting was Thursday?
  23. I think it was Bild that also said Cavani would be announced alongside Jose. I could be wrong.
