  1. I don't mind it with the exception of Bertrand. Still don't think he's good enough on a consistent basis.Very nice lineup, though. Too bad Frank won't be involved once again.
  2. Don't think it'll be as easy as Inter where we were in cruise control the entire match, but I think we'll win convincingly.
  3. He tweets so much shit that I'm close to I following him. Chelsea aren't a selling club and Luiz loves it here.
  4. If he wanted to stay, why hasn't he come out and immediately rubbished it on twitter or his official site? He released a statement before doing just that.
  5. He scored in their "behind closed doors" friendly today again Real Betis.
  6. I for be still think he'll be a Chelsea player. Not any time soon, unfortunately, but on deadline day.
  7. City made the look like a relegation-bait side the other day in the first half. Wouldn't expect them to look as bad this weekend, especially if they have some key players back like Mario.
  8. He and Ramires should be our first choice in the middle to start the season.
  9. Must say I've liked how Essien has looked.
  10. Haha!I've heard about 12 different pronunciations.
  11. It's artificial turf. Really slows the ball down and makes the players studs stick. Not ideal for this type of football.
  12. The early matches usually start at 7am for me here so it's not quite as bad, but still early. The things I do for love...
  13. De Bruyne I know he isn't being risked, but I wanted to see him play again. Oh well, looking forward to seeing Oscar again.
  14. Funny seeing the reactions here of you guys in Europe about the kickoff time. Now you know the pain some of us must endure regularly during the season!
  15. The main reason he wants out of United is because he doesn't want to play behind the striker. If he comes here he's playing as a #9. Can certainly see he and Lukaku playing together up top plenty of times depending on the opposition and situation.
  16. Good point. I was thinking more along the lines of how their fans are so fickle that they always scream "Wenger out!" every time he's struggles or fucks up and call him the best manager in the world when he's doing well. It'd be hilarious if Wenger finally got fed up with the fans and left for a bigger, better side and Arse couldn't appoint a better manager.Honestly though, who could Arsenal really appoint that's available or looking for a step up? They'd be absolutely clamouring for Klopp but why would he leave his home country where he's managing a much better side than Arsenal with some of the best supporters in world football? There really isn't anyone better for them to get. As far as their transfers go this summer, they'll probably leave it really late once again and hopefully they end up with no one special. Then we can put in a cheeky bid for Wilshere next summer after another frustrating, trophyless season.
  17. I'd do just about anything to see that club and its horrible supporters finish outside of the CL spots. Then Wenger abandons them and moves to Barca or something.
  18. Great signing for them. Exactly the player they need. I'd definetly say that even without Bale and especially if they add another couple with the eventual Bale money that they look stronger than Arsenal. I can see Spuds sticking around and making the title race interesting for a while but they'll eventually fall back and finish 3rd-4th. Seriously, what in the actual fuck are Arsenal doing? They haven't bought a single player that'll play for the first team. Fine by me!
  19. Embarrassing for Milan here. Not their strongest side and it is just about City's but this crazy.City look unbelievable too. Their new signings look top class and on the same wavelength already.
  20. Highly knowledgable fans like yourself and those who visit football forums won't be cheering him obviously, but thousands and thousands of sheep who are just casual fans and only care about what goes on on the pitch will still love him if he stays. If Rooney stays and says he never tried to leave in the first place as a PR stunt, most of your fans will sweep it under the rug as long he's producing. Just like the last time he did it.
  21. Exactly what I'm fearing. Bad for us either way.Bet you he ends up staying after all of this shit. He'll score loads and the idiot United fans will scream and sing his name like he never asked to leave TWICE.
  22. Just get it done so he can get a few preseason games under his belt!
  23. Yeah, no way it's happening. Whatever team would want him would want the fee much lower than 25m since his wages are so high.Think we're stuck with I'm for good until his contract is up, unfortunately.
  24. Really doesn't make much sense. He's a great player no doubt, but I can't see why we'd want him unless one or more of our CM's left. If Mikel is sold I can see it. Lamps will probably leave after the season and Essien won't be here long. Khedira is a solid enough tackler and can break up play, but he still doesn't solve our problem completely.
