We need to be buying a midfield player who is a nailed on starter each game like Ramires is. This would be such a waste for this rumored price. I'd rather just get Cabaye like others are saying.
-
End of next season maybe? Can't remember exactly.

What's baffling to me when I watch Torres these days is when he receives the ball deeper in midfield and is running at players he's surprisingly elusive and agile. He can dance by a defender or two on his way and it wows you a couple of times a match. On the flip side, whenever he gets the ball in or around the box and tried to run at someone he gives it away immediately. The timid bitch in him comes out and it's like he thinks "oh shit, I'm gonna miss an easy chance" before even attempting a shot. You watch the world class strikers like Agüero, Suarez, and Falcao when they have the ball in the box and it's like finishing is just effortless and they don't even think about it. It's just instinctual for them. It's how Torres used to be but it's just gone now. I feel sorry for him. As sorry as I can for someone earning tens of millions of £ anyways. He's a good guy and seems humble and is trying his best, but he just doesn't have the special ability anymore. A move to a different league would be highly beneficial to both him and our club.

Agree with people who are saying his demeanor seems off. He just doesn't really look like he's enjoying himself. Like when he gets subbed off for instance he just has a look on his face that screams indifference. Like inside he's just thinking "not too much longer of this." I just have this unshakeable feeling that he'll be sold. I'm probably reading too much into it but I think he may feel the same. Think he's doing just what Rooney is doing this season. Do and say all the right things to the media and knuckle down and play your best. The move will come when it comes. I feel bad for him.

Actually concerned that Spuds will get a competent manager now. Hope they don't bring in Laudrup.
-
They'll probably beat Spuds actually. Only thing that pleases me more than seeing Chelsea win is seeing Arsenal lose.
-
I can honestly see them losing every single one of these.LOL!

Looking at Liverpool and City's goal difference's makes me sad. Has to feel so good to see the guys who are paid the big money to score goals actually scoring them. It's been so long I've nearly forgotten. Suarez who will almost certainly hit 30+ goals this season... Agüero who may score nearly that many... And we have Fernando bloody Torres who may not even break double digits. A club as massive as ours and we've been without a striker worth his salt for 2 seasons now. Not even mad about it anymore. Just numb.
-
No, you're wrong.I think we'll handle Arsenal next week. I can 100% guarantee you that Liverpool ain't scoring 5 goals on us. Who have Everton beaten of note recently that makes you believe that they're better than us? Exactly.
-
Seriously?I don't think Arsenal, Liverpool, and especially not Everton are better than us. Arse have failed just about every big test they've had thus far and we always beat them. Don't think Liverpool would be able to do this against us.
-
Exactly!I hope Jose was watching that with his signature smirk and sending Roman a text. Roman needs to move heaven and earth to bring in Suarez. No matter the cost. If City or Real Madrid can go and spend £100m+ in one window why the hell can't we splash out and buy a player that we're not only desperate for but is the EXACT type of forward we need. It makes perfect sense.
-
2 goals and 3 assists. Just look at how easily Liverpool and City score at will. While we struggle like crazy with the forwards we have.
-
Just imagine Hazard and Mata putting chances on a platter for a striker this damn good. We'd piss the league!
-
FUUUUUUUUCK! Suarez is fucking ridiculous!
-
Only hope we'd have is if Liverpool once again missed out on the top 4. Think they will though playing like they have been.
-
Suarez has scored more goals this season than Spurs' entire team. Wow. I'd happily pay £60m or whatever for him in January. Send them Ba with it to sweeten the deal. We'd win the league and make a great run of it in the CL with him in our team.
-
Suarez is fucking incredible, man. Constantly moving, constantly working. Superb and clinical finisher. Gotta be the best striker in the world on current form. I'd pay anything to see him in our side.
-
United play the exact type of football that is super effective against us. Even if we were top of the league and united were near the relegation zone I'd still be worried about playing them for this exact style of play. Their players just get wide and continuously send in crosses. Our worst enemy. Even awful Danny Welbeck can bang them in. I absolutely hate looking at that ugly ass orc Moyes celebrate.
-
Well. That's game over already. Good job Villa. Don't know why I tuned into this match hoping Villa would beat the dead horse.
-
That would be a terrible window. Neither of those players are worth the money. I honestly think Jackson Martinez would flop here. Guarin isn't good or consistent enough for a title contending Premier League side.I'd rather just keep Ba than spending tens of millions on Martinez. If we go after a striker, which I highly doubt we will this window, it's gonna be someone Jose knows is world class. We've been burned too many times before.
-
We lost to this dire Stoke side. And conceded 3 fucking goals! We'd be top if we'd have won that game.
-
Maybe. Arsenal are actually the only side in the top 4 I'll actually be relatively confident about beating. Aguero, Negredo, Yaya etc would terrify me at this moment as would Suarez and Sturridge. Giroud is as bad as our forward at times like today and Özil hasn't been great recently. Think Arse are the most fragile of the big sides and we can intimidate them a bit. Only player of theirs that currently worries me is Walcott who always seems to slay us.
-
Actually, knowing us we'll beat Arsenal like Jose usually does and then turn around and lose to Swansea the next game. Our players seem to always be up for the big sides but look abysmal against weak opposition like we have the last 3 matches.
-
Thank the gods for 3 points. We are BY FAR the worst top 4 side in front of goal. Totally inept most of the time. If we play any good side and fail to score so many times we won't win. Nothing left to say about our defense. Boggles my mind how opposing players can win every single header.
-
Jose needs to impose a "no aerial passes" rule on Luiz. He lobs about 8 passes forward per game that go nowhere and give the opponents the ball back. Just play it along the pitch!
