Title in our hands and we lose to the rock bottom side at home. We don't deserve it. Choked it away against a relegation side once more.
-
Which is fucking ridiculous. I hate watching us in and around the box. Game after game we have zero ideas. Teams know that they can just park 10 men in the box and we can't do anything but fire in long shots. Time after time against these relegation threatened sides we struggle. This time we're actually threatening constantly but we can't break down the brick wall.
-
Why does this happen against EVERY terrible side!? They play better than they ever do against us!
-
Cech ill apparently. Have a feeling Ramires will struggle again. Always does against this type of side.
-
I hate being the late kickoff match. So bored sitting here watching dross like Spuds/Fulham and Cardiff/Stoke.
-
As I said last week, Eriksen is too good for Spuds.
-
Hasn't he publicly talked shit about José recently? He comes off to me as a smug cunt like all Barca players. That being said, he'd be unbelievable in our team and I'd love him here. Absolutely ZERO chance it happens, though. Still loves Arsenal too.
-
Steve Holland is seriously sharp as a tack, isn't he? Top guy. Bright future ahead for him. Very eloquent and knowledgeable.
-
Didn't even seem like a serious injury when it happened and now it seems he'll be out for the first leg at Atleti. We really need him back in time for Liverpool.
-
LOL From Arsenal forum: "Leave aside the technical ability and discipline, how the hell are they bigger and stronger than our kids? Do we have like multiple 15-16 year old's playing or something. Their DM looks as big as Yaya Toure!!"
-
Yeah, if/when we bring in a new striker and José tells Lukaku that he wants him back but Lukaku kicks up a fuss and wants to move elsewhere than fuck him. If he's unwilling to be a team player like everyone else in the squad than I don't want him here. Don't think he'll do that though. Privately I'd imagine he won't be too happy next season, though knowing that he could be the main man many other places.I feel a little bad for him because it'll be impossible for him to be our #1 striker next season. An expensive striker will have him on the bench where by January we'd be hearing him itching for a move. Under no circumstances should we even entertain the idea of selling him to a PL side that has ANY chance of competing with us as has been rumored.
-
I think it's because he's pissed at the FA for charging him for walking on the pitch against Villa but didn't charge Lambert.
-
No one I see anywhere is picking us to beat Liverpool. "No way they can contain the almighty Liverpool!" Maybe they forgot who our manager was and how good we are defensively. Handle our fucking business against Sunderland and it's the most important match in some of our players' careers.
-
Liverpool can now afford to draw against us. We MUST go all fucking out and play the match of our lives and the title is ours!!!

Adam Johnson is a nice player. If we hadn't bought Salah I'd have had him here. Very, very good at beating players, can cross very well, and scores plenty. Think he'd flourish with good players around him. He was hard done by City when he was there.
-
I've never even heard of a couple of these Sunderland players.
-
Game over.
-
Emptihad looking about 50% full tonight I see.
-
Suppose I'll do a little Sunderland scouting here against City. Won't be a pretty score line I reckon. You can bet they'll game raise like mad against us.
-
To be fair to José regarding that 10 games promise, I'm sure even he didn't expect JT to roll back the years and perform as well as he did years ago. He probably really did expect Kalas to play.
-
Fucking hell, £30m!? Insane! No way is he worth that.
-
At £32m he represents good value for a player who's still young and has time to improve and get even better. At £50m you expect a consistently world class, finished article player who's already at their peak and has been scoring loads for years and years like Falcao. I'd just have a bad feeling if he costs that much. Big flop risk in my opinion. Plus it would likely mean we'll be going for cheaper targets in the other areas of need.
-
Arse are terrible. Giroud may actually be worse than Torres. You can just see his teammates getting annoyed at him time and time again. I'm sure Arse will get their normal flukey luck and steal this one in the end.
-
I'm just saying that I'd expect that level of unbelievable quality. Don't know if I see Costa as someone who can completely carry a team or dominate an opponent singlehandedly like Suarez can. Agreed. Think Cavani would welcome the move as well so he can become what he should be which is the focal point and main man in attack, not stuck out wide and playing second fiddle to Ibra like he is currently.
-
Yeah, way too risky for anywhere near that type of money. I think his release clause is exactly what he's worth. Between £30-35m. For £50m I'd expect to be getting someone in Suarez or Agüero's class which Costa isn't in yet.If were willing to spend that much (which Jose has said we're indeed capable of doing) than we could maybe persuade PSG to sell us Cavani.
