Was about to come in and ask how he's been this past season. Remember him being the big, hot property last couple of Windows but didn't really hear about him much throughout the season. Tbf, didn't really hear about Monaco at all as a whole since they sold off so many top players.

The absolute silence from the club and the journalists closest to the club is pissing me off more day by day. The most important part of the club (the supporters) are just left helpless and hoping things will happen. The clock is ticking, our rivals are making moves, and for all we know the higher-ups at the club are holidaying.

We may actually start next season with the weakest manager out of all the big PL clubs. Combine that with our atrocious work in the market and our season may be over before it gets started, ffs.

Jokanovic seems like the perfect manager the club can hire from their perspective because you know he'll be so thrilled to be given a shot at a massive club that he won't ask for much in terms of investment. A yes man who will do as he's told and take what he's given without complaint. Good young manager who probably has a bright future, but surely Chelsea in its current state needs a less risky, more proven at the top level manager right now.

I wonder, will our fan base voice massive displeasure if we sack Conte for fucking Blanc? What a massive downgrade even from Conte coming off a poor season. He's the sort of appointment that Everton or West Ham make thinking they're getting a big name, important coach. I'd rather have Luis Enrique than Blanc and everyone here knows what I feel about him.

I actually don't think Butland would look out of place here at all. Been highly rated with and awful team in front of him. I just hope that if we sell Courtois we go after a more multidimensional keeper a la Ederson/DDG/Lloris. One who can start moves from deep, play with his feet a bit. Tibo is a great shot stopper but not much else. Is Butland not similar?

I actually believe Matt Law here about his previous comments not being a deal breaker. Highly doubt a few sketchy words would disqualify a top coach. Still think we'll get him. Eventually... If we have to settle for Blanc in the end as a panic appointment I will have such low expectations going into the season. Don't see how Hazard will look at an appointment like that and feel the club are going to compete for anything important.

Can already tell this is shaping up to be another one of those summers where we have a turbulent preseason/window and therefore a poor start to the actual season.

Just think about how excited the supporters of all of our rivals are about the summer and next season. City walked the title, have the best manager in the world locked in for years on a fresh contract. Brilliant squad that's about to get even fucking scarier. Liverpool just made the CL final, have a brilliant manager, already made two signings that take their midfield to a completely different level. United will spend mega money as usual. Even Arse fans are delighted to have a competent new manager and are underway signing players. Chelsea meanwhile are in total chaos from the outside looking in. Us fans don't have the slightest clue what's going on, who our manager is going to be, whether our talismanic player and keeper are going to stay. It's like we don't really have anything to be excited about currently. Hopefulky something will happen on the fabled June 1st that we've been hearing about. I doubt it. Fully expect we'll get to the start of the World Cup and still nothing will have happened.

I'd be scared right now if it was reputable sources saying we've gone cold on Sarri. Daily Mail know fuck all. Laurent Blanc and Avram Grant. FFS, I'd rather keep a sulking, moody Conte.

We need Jeff Bezos to buy us. He can buy the whole of West London, build us the best stadium in Europe, and bring in 8 new world class players.

Yep. Our club appear to be in absolute chaos both on and off the pitch. Managerial situation, Roman's Visa issues, some of our best and most important players' contractual stuff, no concrete transfer news to speak of at all, and now giving up on the hugely important stadium redevelopment. This is pretty scary shit.

If we are indeed going after a new main striker (which I still highly doubt) my preference of this we've been linked with is Icardi, then Lewandowski, then Higuain. But unless we offered mega wages I can't see why any of those 3 would come here when they could probably go to just about any other big club which has CL football.

Relative to the size of our club we're run poorly. True, we aren't diabolical like those you've named. All I'm saying is that a club as big, rich, and successful as Chelsea is we shouldn't be stumbling and bumbling like we have been. Only due to masterful coaching have our boards' shite work been masked in 2 of the pervious 4 seasons.

How so? We've had abysmal transfer windows since the Costa/Fabregas summer. Missing on nearly every big target, not backing whichever manager it's been with his top choices, panicking in the last hours of the window and buying dross. And now this. Taking an age to get the managerial situation settled when there's a World Cup and a significantly shortened transfer window. We're already going to find it tougher to bring in to players because we aren't in the CL. Making it even tougher on ourselves by fucking around for weeks. We're run like a shoddy, second rate club these days. Penny pinching and looking for cheap deals rather than doing what our rivals do and just paying what is necessary.

We've been one of the worst run clubs in Europe over the past few years off the pitch. Looks like that trend may continue this summer. Absolute joke that the managerial situation is still not resolved.

I'm just surprised that we aren't really hearing daily updates or behind the scenes chatter at all. Look at Arsenal's saga just in the past few weeks where it seemed like shit was going down everyday. Will it be Arteta or this person or that. It's just silent in regards to us. Both from Conte's side and the clubs.

I'd like to think we learned our lesson after twice having terrible summers in recent years but it seems we haven't. Known for months that Conte is off and still no update.

All they need is a keeper now. Maybe a Lovren upgrade as well.
