Our passing has been utterly atrocious so far, fuck me.

Interested to see how this false 9 will work here against a side that we should actually dominate possession. Could be the way forward until we can maybe bring a striker in next month. But for the love of God, can we please get off to a fast start here!? Sick of having to wait sometimes a whole half before we wake up and take control.

As pathetic and awful as we've looked at times recently and in the first half here, gotta throw my hands up and credit the lads. After our first goal we were clearly the better side. Whole defense and even all three of Willian, Hazard, and Pedro played well. Wow, what a huge 3 points.

It's truly embarrassing how much better City are than us. We look like a feisty midtable side fighting like hell just to compete with an actual top team.

I'm not even mad at Sarri or place any real blame on him. Perhaps he was naive in thinking we could trust the strikers we had going into the season. But we have to remember that he showed up super late and didn't really have time to properly determine what he needed. That he continues to persist with Alonso is puzzling and even infuriating, though. He doesn't have to be dropped indefinitely but ffs, at least give Emerson a few games!

Fucking hell. Honestly, a false 9 almost can't be worse than what we've been using. But Alonslow starts again. I'm not sure I will watch this. Might just follow along on Twitter to spare myself of the anger and frustration.

Alonso is basically undroppable when he's so clearly struggling. How bad must Emerson be in training for Sarri to not use him? Marcos has no recovery speed, gets caught too hi up repeatedly, and what was considered his best attribute (attacking) has been embarrassing for a while now. He can't beat ANY defender for pace and his crossing is awful. Today he gave it away carelessly about 4 times from the same exact spot on the left wing.

We have ZERO players who can reliably score. NONE. One of the biggest and richest clubs in the world and we depend on two strikers who can't score, two wingers who rarely score, and we have no goals from midfield. Meanwhile, City, Liverpool, Spuds, and Arsenal have goal scorers in abundance. It's a disgrace. We aren't making top 4. We'll finish 5th and have yet another season in the EL.

Absolutely shocking, horrific game to lose. We were totally comfortable and should've been out of sight at 2 or 3-0. Our attackers are embarrassing. We have bloody no one who can clinically score. Wolves shithouse tactics of constantly fouling over and over combined with counter attack after counter attack worked like a dream. Helped by a woeful referee and Alonso looking like he's playing with a 400 pound weight vest on. Seriously, Alonso is fucking shocking. Needs to be dropped immedietly. This embarrassing result combined with the smack we're going to receive on Saturday may be the start of the end to our top 4 hopes.

Agree with people voicing concerns about Azpi and Kante. As amazing as they are at certain aspects of the game, both look very suspect when pressed due to their limited technical ability. Teams now know to target them with their pressure and it definitely works.

Damn, Eden had so many good shooting opportunities that half and couldn't do anything with them. We've been decent here but are again struggling with ideas around the box. We have to get Cesc and Ruben more involved since they've looked dangerous almost every time they get it.

Let us all pray that Rubes does his defensive and tracking work today or else we'll be in trouble in midfield and the center of defense. Id have rested Alosno here too since we know he'll start against City. He already looked leggy last weekend and I would've thought Sarri's our day ant himself a freshness so possible against City.

Not better than Pedro or Wilian currently and I'd be surprised if he ever reaches either of those players' level. I think for the crazy price he'd flop here. We need an instant, clear upgrade in this position rather than a prospect/project that will need years to reach his potential.

I think Jorginho being the focus of every opposing team over the past three weeks has had a significant effect on us. Again today he was pretty anonymous. Not poor, just not the orchastrator he was earlier in the season. That Kovacic has also been subpar lately makes our midfield stand out even more. The thing that scares me the most is our attack, though. Hazard was still pretty good but his red hot,mulayable streak has faded. Other than him we have not a single attacking player that scares anyone on a consistent basis. Willian and Pedro show flashes every few games or so. Morata and Giroud are players who none of our top 4 rivals would be starting. Looking at the options City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and even Spuds have across their attack makes me jealous. And it's highly unlikely we'll be able to buy any top class options in January. I think Sarri getting us 4th this season will be fairly miraculous.

Must be nice having a striker who is lethal and can finish from anywhere around the box. I've almost forgotten what it's like. If Arse end up finishing above us this season it's not because they're a better overall side than us, it'll be because they have not one but two top class finishers at the point of their team. Unless we get one soon we'll always be at a disadvantage from kickoff compared to all of our rivals.

Giroud has been fine. The few chances he did get were difficult so I'm not gonna shit on him. Alonso and Kovacic were poor. Kovacic really has to start stepping up. Been very average recently. He has to assert himself and use his dribbling ability. When teams are going to always man mark Jorginho like all three of our last opponents have done, it should free up Kova.

We continuously get the ball around the box and are so unimaginative. We should have 2-3 goals by now. Teams like City and Liverpool look like they can score every time they get it in the final third. Lately, we look like Conte/Mourinho's Chelsea where we are hoping for a moment of individual brilliance rather than good team play.

Alonso has been woeful going forward today. Looks like he's playing in slow-mo. Can't run, can't cross. No point in playing him if he can't do those things.

Our left side is terrible defensively and will continue to be exposed against any team of quality. Alonso has gotten a pass all season because he's good going forward. Luiz has been threatening to implode all season and now finally has. He's past it as a defender and if we had anyone else who could play out from the back he'd be gone.

Utter humiliation. And not to City or Barca, or Bayern. To fucking Spurs. Our players should be ashamed.

We are in desperate need of the same things we've been moaning about for ages. Our good start to the season has made many forget. Top class right sided attacker, top class striker, and probably a Luiz replacement that can pass at his level but can also fucking move faster than a tanker.

Hazard booked for a foul that happens literally a dozen times every match. Atkinson is the worst referee in the league.

Worst performance of the season easily here. Can't even hold on to the fucking ball. They're just effortlessly playing through us when they have it and winning the ball back time and again when we have it. Spuds have been able to raise their game here while we've wilted like a flower. We have no teeth up top and when Jorginho is ineffective the entire team fails to function. Very dangerous to depend so much on him.
