What a player Ruben is now. Our best attacking midfielder by far lately and has now established himself as a best XI player. Dominant physically but also has silky skill to glide past players with ease. And my oh my was Hazard excellent today. One last game to finish this thing off. Would be heartbreaking and devastating to fail from here.

Higuain can be dreadful at times but if you keep giving him chances at the near post he'll bury one. His favorite spot to receive the ball.

We seriously look like we could concede from every Watford attack. Deolufeu is destroying us nearly every time he picks the ball up. We need to keep the damn ball, ffs.

On the occasions we actually do get in the ball around their box we look like Mourinho's Chelsea near the end. Everything grinds to a standstill, everyone just standing around. We make it so damned easy for these lesser teams to defend us and get back into position because we're not moving quickly.

Offers zero going forward and not much defensively. The absolute opposite sort of performance I expected from us. We once again look like scared pussies against a physical midtable side. Damn. Even more nervous after seeing the XI. Alonso, Kovacic, and Higuain need to play the match of their lives today.

Fucking hell, I'm nervous. Mostly worried about our defense and Luiz/Christensen in particular. Watford's front 2 are very dangerous and physical which both of those players struggle with. Luoz looked dead on his feet by the end of the Eintracht match. Will our players summon the spirit of past Chelsea sides and handle the pressure or will they wilt like flowers like they have so many times this season? With all that's at stake we better not see them roll over.

Fuck me, that new kit is horrendous. Our lads better put in the performance of the season tomorrow. We need God-mode Hazard and for Higuain to put on his finishing boots. His loan will have been worth it if he can score a couple in these last 2 matches and help us to victories.

Poor result given we totally dominated the 2nd half. Our attacking 3 were awful all match. RLC was our most dangerous attacker which says it all. Luiz was clearly injured as well. Looked like he could barely move and simply gave up a number of times. Not at al confident that we can prevent them from scoring at the Bridge, so hopefully our attacking play is significantly better next week. We'll need to score a few I think.

Outside of the last few minutes of the half we offered nothing from our front 3. As a whole, we gave the ball away repeatedly with stupid, sloppy passes. We simply struggle with teams that have a high work rate and intensity. Have all season long. Our players just don't have that steel mentality. We need a couple of pit bulls in the team. That's why Barella was so coveted.

If Barca concede more than once today I have a baaaaaad feeling that Liverpool will 100% win the CL. Clean sheet is hopefully the priority for them.

Can we maybe buy Vardy as a short term striker this summer? He's great against just about every big team. Goals, goals, goals. And that's with solid yet not great players around him. He'd be even better at a big club. Obviously he's not a 4-5 year singing, but on a 2 year deal or something he'd be great. Hasn't lost any of his pace.
