We dominated and easily controlled the game when they had 11 men. CHO was roasting their left side repeatedly. What do we do after scoring and going up a man? COMPLETELY ABANDON THAT ADVANTAGE ON THE RIGHT SIDE! What's most alarming about us right now is I don't even know how we fix ourselves. Can't do it through the transfer market because the top players aren't available. Our backup strikers are horrific. Pulisic is out for weeks. With Mount off the boil we have zero goal threat from midfield. Seriously, what's the remedy here? It simply looks like we have to just hope and pray that United and Wolves remain as shit as we do. We clearly don't have the capacity to grab this 4th spot by the neck.
-
We've reached the point where it takes us a million attempts to score a goal while it only takes our opponents 1 attempt for us to concede. We are an extremely mentally weak team. Any sort of adversity at all and we crumble. Murderous row of fixtures continues and now without Tammy I don't see where the goals will possibly come from.

I feel like I've said this a dozen times THIS SEASON ALONE, but that was the most embarrassing performance from a Chelsea team I've EVER seen. And against THAT fucking club as well. Fucking disgusting.
-
This is getting ridiculous now. KEEP THE FUCKING BALL!!!!
-
Letting them get the odd counter attack when they've got 10 men is one thing. We let them control possession and get several dangerous attacks there. It's just not acceptable for me.
-
Our players are morons if they think this game was over after that red card. Which they clearly did. Only a matter of time before Pepe skins Emerson again. He looks terrified of getting close to him. We 100% need another goal for this to be comfortable. Which is embarrassing.
-
We're making Arse look better with 10 men than they did with 11, ffs. Cant get the fucking ball!
-
Assuming we come out with purpose and balls, I like the midfield and attack. It's the back 4 I'm shitting myself about. At least Azpi is in his actual position today I guess.
-
Damn, Reece didn't make it. 😣 Feeling very nervous here.
-
Hopefully we don't start off getting battered by them like we did a few weeks ago before Lamps made the Jorginho change. Aubameyang was huge for them early in that game with his high pressing so good that he's out. I pray that Kovacic starts in place of Mount.
-
I doubt any deal will be a loan. He'd probably get a 2 year deal or 1 year with option to extend like Giroud. For a short term injection of quality for a season or two we could do a LOT worse.
-
Like I said last week, IF we sign anyone it'll be out of nowhere at the last minute. None of the usually reliable sources (Matt Law etc) have been saying anything in relation to us which to me means Frank is telling the complete truth about nothing even being close. We're putting all our eggs in the "hope we remain in the top 4 and go bananas in the summer" basket. Time will tell whether it's a genius strategy or if it will backfire spectacularly.
-
Feels like Conte has made 50 signings since going to Inter.
-
Really, all 3 of ourselves, Spuds, and United should be going hard after Cavani. Those two are even more desperate than we are so could probably offer a longer contract.
-
A Giroud type short contract does indeed make sense.
-
Unlike Higuain for example, Cavani has always look super fit. Can't say I've seen him recently, though. His wages are probably astronomical as well.
-
No Auba, Lacazette in the worst form of his career, clown defenders, and a bunch of inexperienced kids. So we'll make them look like prime Barca naturally.
-
Only way I can see Liverpool regressing back to a mere top 4 team and not a strong title candidate is if one of Salah or Mané fancy a new challenge at Real Madrid after winning it all with Liverpool. But why would they leave, really? Only City making a few key additions will bother them for another season or two.
-
Liverpool need to score again. Living very dangerously with these United counters. All it takes is one lapse and this dreadful side can steal something.
-
If Liverpool go on to win here as expected it makes yesterday even more maddening when you consider Rashford will be out for a while for United. We could really separated ourselves from the chasing pack. He's their only real source of goals. This dreadful United side can still catch us up over the next couple of weeks now becasue we're so damned inconsistent.
-
It's truly incredible that one of the richest sports teams in the world are trotting out a midfield like this. Pogba aside its been dreadful for years, too. It's almost criminal from their ownership. Thank fuck they're as incompetent as they are.
-
He's more useless than Azpi going forward if that's possible. Very solid defending, though.
-
United's shape and tactics have actually been pretty good. They just have absolutely ZERO quality in midfield and next to zero in attack with their injuries.
-
Watch Liverpool have their worst performance of the last 2 years right when we desperately need them to win. Also, what a horrendous period to be missing Pulisic. He would've made a huge difference. Running at teams and terrifying defenses. Calum just isn't quite there yet.
-
The curse of having loads of young players across our attack is that they're wildly inconsistent. They have a great match maybe one in every 3. We have no star man NEAR the level of a Salah/Mané/Aguero/KDB or Hazard anymore who can win us a game with magic out of nothing. Finishing 4th is going to be about hoping and praying United/Wolves/Spuds/Sheff remain as terribly inconsistent as we are. It's going to take years off my life worrying.
