Saw someone on another forum suggest this is a planned power play from Barca to get La Liga to change the salary cap situation. They scare the league into thinking their biggest draw is leaving, they relax the salary cap rules, and then suddenly Messi decides to come back to Barca after all.

Lukaku never played for a progressive, front foot, assertive side when in England. He was at United in their worst and lowest point in recent history. Let’s at least see how he does now that he will be. This will be the best team he will have ever played in at club level with arguably the best manager.

Much rather see Haaland at City than United. City illicit zero emotion out of me either way. I absolutely cannot stand Man United and especially their über entitled fanbase so him going there would be unbearable. It would be very strange (and smart) for Tammy to go to Atalanta. I would’ve figured for sure that a young English striker who can score for smaller teams wasn’t highly sought after by multiple PL clubs. If he can get his head down and really improve in Italy at a very good club he’ll be back in the PL for £50m or more in a couple of years.

I mean, that’s all well and good from his perspective but by all accounts Koundé is an absolute priority for TT. Which means he has a very specific need for a CB of that profile and thinks he will be a key player. Not delivering your manager a player he really wants because the 4th choice CB wants to stay doesn’t bode well.

No Koundé then. Zouma thinks he’s too big for WH.

West Ham is pretty much the perfect level for Zouma just like Everton were. He’s not good enough to be an every week starter for a CL and PL contender but he’s good enough to be that at a Europa League level club. The problem here seems to be that he doesn’t see himself that way.

Imagine if we’re unable to to get our managers top choice target because Zouma refuses to go… 😑😑😑

In my opinion, yes. I think he will become the most undroppable attacking mid for us.
