Not gonna bother watching the Liverpool game. Some flukey bullshit is probably going to happen again.
-
Villa are certainly not going to be light work for us. Especially with their fans there and especially since it’s their last game. Spuds on the other hand may be in the beach against a desperate Leicester if they go in to lose this one here. Villa must be treated like another final just like last night.
-
I think EVERY team in the PL will be motivated on match day 38, guys. Especially with fans back for the first time for most of them. Not worried about Spuds being on the beach. Think they’ll give it their all. I’m more worried about Villa doing the same…. 😬

Harry Kane to score a hat trick in his final game for Spuds against Leicester to guarantee us CL footy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I almost died when Perez was wide open in our box and blazed over. Literally nearly had a heart attack.
-
The sick irony is that this match would’ve been ideal for Kai to burst into the box and get on the end of the passes. *sigh*
-
Complete and total dominance and we should have a stonewall penalty and a couple of easy goals from open play. As I’ve said time and again, imagine this team with a killer CF in it. Haaland would FEAST and score 30 PL goals if he were in our team this season. Tuchel needs to instruct Pulisic to go stand on Soyuncu rather than Fofana. Fofana is quick enough to stay with him and is just bullying him physically. He’s a great player I must say.

Timo is fucking cursed. Fuck me!
-
How in gods green earth is that not a one??? WHAT!?
-
I mean……City wouldn’t expect that lmao Twin Towers with Ziyech and Reece pumping in a hundred crosses.
-
He’ll start Tammy out of the wilderness in the final. 😂
-
Will be depressed for the next 10 days until the final if we fail to win this. For the love of God, Chelsea…
-
Yeah, really hope that’s precautionary for Kai. We will certainly need him in some way against City.
-
Only thing that makes me slightly at ease is that TT has made it abundantly clear with his team selections that he wants a striker. So surely the club will get him someone. Otherwise I’d be very worried about us having another mediocre season like this current one.
-
There really isn’t even anyone to potentially panic buy at striker. The options are so thin that if we strike out on Haaland or Kane the drop off to anyone else is colossal. We’d then probably have to look at past it old guys from lesser leagues as a 1 season rental. An Edin Dzeko or something. Or I guess we could go the no striker route and get some goal scoring midfielder as a last resort.
-
Whoever gets him will be instant favorites for the league. Not that City weren’t already, but if they got him it’s another 🔒 for the title. If United somehow, someway went bananas in the market and got him I think they’d be favorites. And if we were able to put out an attack on any given match day consisting of some combo of Kane, Werner, Havertz, Mount, Pulisic, and Ziyech I think we’d be favorites.

Spuds have been especially fucked more than any club by COVID. Just built that new stadium, haven’t been able to have fans in to start offsetting that cost. Didn’t have the hugely lucrative NFL games and whatever other entertainment events that they had planned. If a club comes in with say £100m and he puts in a transfer request I find it extremely hard to believe Levy could say no and force him to stay. They need the cash and the player (like Bale and Modric before him) has outgrown the club. We could potentially luck out in that United just renewed Cavani as sort of a short term mentor for Greenwood who they view as the eventual #9 and want Sancho whereas City may not feel it necessary to spend mega money on Kane when they’ve just pissed the league with no striker and could still win the CL. Unless Liverpool miraculously find £100m by selling Salah we might be the only realistic option.
-
Several journo’s I follow who cover Spuds say that Kane really wants to leave. Again. Also state the obvious that Levy will aggressively fight any sale. But I wonder if he really kicked up a fuss he’d be able to force his way out. Maybe we should at least try. If Haaland is a no go there’s nobody else that isn’t a major gamble. And we can’t afford yet another punt who we hope is great but flops. Levy has to know that they’re going nowhere in terms of title challenges. He’s given them more than they could’ve hoped for and is in the prime of his career. If he’s desperate to leave and hands in a transfer request I wonder what the price would be. Would likely only be City and ourselves as serious suitors with United going after Sancho.
-
Maybe. But bringing him in having not played any meaningful minutes for months seemingly in games that are do or die might not be a great idea.
-
The most worrying thing is thinking where the goals are going to come from in these last 2 PL matches, never mind against fucking City in the final. Unless Havertz or Pulisic go Super Saiyan in these games I don’t see how we have enough firepower. Because we know Werner can’t be depended on this season. I’d maybe play Giroud and try pumping as many crosses in as possible.
-
Liverpool have had a shambolic season with a horrendous injury list. They’ve been without several of their best players all season long. But because we choked time and time and time again against absolutely terrible sides we’ve allowed them to stay within a hair of us.
-
Win Tuesday or we’re done. Simple as that.
-
Also, wanna give a big FUCK OFF to that moronic cunt Robbie Savage who literally couldn’t hide his delight for Leicester throughout the match. Squealing like a little school girl time and again. And he’s also a horrible analyst of the game on top of it.
-
Same. The FA Cup doesn’t define or decide our season. We now have 2 games that do. Pick our absolute strongest XI midweek and play for our lives.
-
Only thing that’s particularly concerning to me is how slow and out of ideas we’ve looked going forward since the 2nd leg against Madrid where we absolutely attacked like monsters. We look clueless.
