  1. We won’t even be able to buy a top finisher without CL footy.
  2. Pulisic has matches where he looks like Hazard and the only way the opponent can stop him is by hacking him down repeatedly. Then he has games like this where he looks like he’s playing in ice skates and can’t even stay in his damned feet. Every one of our attacking players is so wildly inconsistent and that’s why we are where we are. It’s like they don’t train finishing at all.
  3. Grealish has committed 5 fouls, no booking. Then this cunt books 3 of our players in like 5 minutes for their first challenges…
  4. Called it. Complete sucker punch. Standing wide open in the middle of our box. Unreal.
  5. Infuriating seeing others handle their business while we need 50 chances to score 1 goal.
  6. This has all the makings of a domination with a sucker punch from Villa to win 1-0.
  7. That’s now 3 times that Villa have quite easily played it in behind the area Reece is supposed to be watching. Worrying.
  8. Ah, shit. Completely forgot that Grealish was fit now. How many super soft fouls will he win here….
  9. Chelsea win and Harry Kane hat trick , please!!!
  10. Let’s hope we are comfortable toward the end of the match and don’t really miss Kante. Hope he’s okay for the final. I’m pissing myself nervous for this one!
  11. Liverpool will demolish Palace. My guess is 4-0. Leicester v Spuds is difficult to call right now. But something tells me Spuds will be up for it and get a result. Villa will come out like their hair is on fire in front of their fans and with zero pressure on them. I think they’ll be extremely pumped up to come out and leave one on us. We absolutely have to assert ourselves early like we did against Leicester. We absolutely don’t want to have it come down to winning the final against City to determine our fate next season. That kind of pressure on our mentally weak players will be too much.
  12. True. And Tammy would suit West Ham extremely well. They can stop running Antonio into the ground up top. But United will almost certainly try to use Lingard as a makeweight for Rice as well and he’s already a fan favorite.
  13. Declan Rice will be one of those players we will really regret seeing at one of our rivals if he goes there instead of us. Think he’s going to be a top, top player in a big team for many years. The problem for us is that we need a striker that will likely consume the majority of our summer budget and Rice will probably cost like £85m. And that kind of money is impossible to justify when you can sign a DM from France or somewhere else for half that or less.
  14. Kind of strange how there isn’t more smoke about Mbappe moving to the PL. Is it just assumed that he’s going to Real Madrid if he leaves?
  15. If we’re after a DM I don’t know why we’d allow Leicester to sign Soumaré for cheap. I’ve rated him for a couple of years now and God knows he’ll be worth triple what they pay for him in a couple of seasons like always with Leicester. A midfield of Ndidi, Soumaré, and Tielemans is crazy good and balanced.
  16. Yes, I’m sure Spuds would be glad to take a striker who can’t get a game for us and a keeper who flopped massively for their best player and talisman. 😂 Seriously, though, how often do player swaps or money + player deals actually happen? Very, very rarely. If they happen in Kane’s case I’m not sure we have anyone they’d want. Could potentially see a deal with United offering Lingard in partial exchange and that would be a huge win-win for every party. But I think Levy will say £100m cash of gtfo.
  17. No serious outlet is linking us with him. And Bayern have already rubbished any thought of him leaving. But he has just scored like 40 goals this season. Being 33 or not he’d be a mega upgrade in our team.
  18. They won’t be favorites if we beat them in the final and sign Haaland. 😉
  19. Pep strikes me very much like a win now guy. He’s got this unbelievable core of guys now and Kane can make them firm favorites for the next 2-3 years with that core. While for me Haaland is a guaranteed success were he to come to the PL there is still some risk of him needing to adjust like we’ve seen with Timo. If Kane is fit he’s already instantly the best #9 in the league and not a risk at all. You’ve got to capitalize on the primes of Kdb, Sterling, Walker, Gundogan etc before they start to wane physically. So a shorter term option makes sense. They were after 34 year old Messi last summer, remember.
  20. Feels to me like one of those situations where he and his agent have gotten signals from one or more clubs that they’re interested and will formally make a move for him. That’s why he’s starting the push now in public. Probably Pep and City in his ear. Levy could definitely play hardball but he has eventually broken down and sold. Modric, Bale, Eriksen. This could cause a massive distraction and headache for the new manager they’re bringing in to have you best player unhappy and wanting out.
  21. Kane is clearly desperate to leave. He’s off 100% if a club comes in with £100m. Judging by that interview he will absolutely put in a transfer request when he speaks with Levy about his future. As for Lewandowski, Bayern’s chairman already said last week that they aren’t even considering selling him. We can cross that one off. Looks like it’s Haaland or bust for us. We’ll have to think of some more unconventional targets.
  22. So to be clear, Spuds qualify for the new Conference thingy if they win against Leicester? They’re a club who desperately need the European money so hopefully they try in that game.
  23. Nope. But it sounds hilarious that Arse aren’t even good enough for the Europa League now! 😂😂😂
  24. What the fuck is the Conference League? Seriously, this is the first I’m hearing of it.
  25. Arse in the EL again would be great. Could instantly cross them off day 1 for any kind of challenge for the top 4 because they’ll be forced to rotate and refresh the team more often with so many games. Would’ve been annoying seeing them with only the PL to focus on and having a fully rested XI every week. Also seeing them end the season on a high note means Arteta stays even longer. They’re going nowhere under him.
