I find it hard to see a way where he won't be here next season. And it is hard to argue against it in reality. We have our reasons for not wanting him here in the first place and wanting him replaced. But after massive turmoil near the start of the season to be in the CC Final, FA Cup Quarters, CL Final and down to the last day of the season with a very real possibility of doing the league and cup double. My personal feeling is that he is not good enough tactically! But after the way we are finishing this season you have to say that it is going to take another season if that is to prove right or wrong. Some people say it is only because it is Jose's squad! Again it will take the summer, Pre Season and next season to prove if that is right is wronng...... I think the bottom line is that we are going to have to accept that it looks extremely likely that he will still be here for next season......

The one thing i have critisised Jose for is the way he has approached the Liverpool CL games, i always felt that he was too negative and played into the hands of the scousers!!! Last night we didn't, we had a real go at them! Even when we tried to protect the 1 - 0 lead and let it slip we came right back again and went at them again. Earlier on in the season everyone stuck the boot in on Grant because he couldn't win the "big games" or against the "big teams". Now we have seen a team under his "management" beat Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool..... maybe he is growing into the role. Maybe it is because we have our squad fully fit again! Who knows.... I certainly don't think that he is good enough to manage us and i don't want him in charge next season. Although now i feel he will be..... like i have said unless it was always planned for him to leave at the end of the season. But now i just have the feeling he will be here next season................

Lol, well that was a bloody tense game!!!! But it was absolutely incredible! We fully deserved our win and Drogba on the night was immense, was clearly fired up by the fat twats comments and just shows how good he can be when he really puts everything into it, like we saw from him all last season. Lampard was just top class, his overall performance was one of the best he has shown this season and the balls he had to take that penalty!!! When the final whislte went it only then hit me that we are going to be in the CL final. Because to me NOTHING was more important that not letting those scouse c**t's knock us out again!!!!

The way i feel at the moment and think about this situation the only way that i can see Grant being replaced is because it was planned all along. He won't be replaced for not winning a trophy because lets all be honest when Jose left everyone thought we would do well to cement 4th spot. We have done exceptionally well this season given the circumstances, and even though that is not down to Grants management ability he won't be replaced on the basis of bad results. The bottom line is that i think the only way that Grant will be replaced is if it had been planned all along......

Really not sure how i would take that to be honest! One the one hand he isn't exactly the inspirational type!! On the other hand he has done well in the past when given lots of money to spend!

This was a really good performance from us. The first half was about as good as we have played all season. We were really up for it, in their faces, passing well and having a right good go at them. We more than deserved to win that game and judging by the reaction of United in that game they really could be rocking after that result and could drop more points. We can do anymore than win our next 2 games and hope that united slip up somewhere. No matter what else happens, this was a very very good performance.

Well providing we hang on to everyone we will have Terry, Carvalho, Alex and Ivanovic as our 4 centre backs which to be honest is probably the best centre back group in a squad in the world!! Also Ivanovic can cover for right back if needed................... He has looked good in reserve games, will do well for us i think

You could be right, but i think the way Essien bursts forward with energy will be of more benefit to us in the next 2 games....

Well it is only good for us that he wants to say as he is still a top player. Hopefully once we get our squad and system sorted for next season we will see the best out of some players and i think he will be one of those players.

Could understand him wanting a last go at being a regular starter for club. But i think he will probably end up staying.

Can't see anyway that Frank will play this game or the Liverpool return. Going to be a very very hard game, we need to have Essien on top form making forward runs and supporting the forwards otherwise we will struggle like we did against Liverpool

I don't think that Roman will leave. And if he did then i don't think we will be in too much trouble. We do not owe money in the way that Man you, Arsenal and Liverpool do! Anyone who buys the club after him are going to have to pay quite a bit of money, and also they will have to be willing to invest, and at the moment there are quite a few people/groups out there willing to do that.

Can't even think about this game at the moment!! Still enjoying last night too much We HAVE to win this game, anything else and we have lost any chance we had of winning the league. Wasn't the worst of performances we have had, although you have to say that the midfield 3 just wasn't working, couldn't get going! An absolute shocker to start with Malouda, one of our worst performers of the season in the biggest game of the season. But i felt overall we deserved an equaliser, the way they took the freek kick for their goal was a discrace, the foul on Drogba Pen/Free Kick should have resulted in Carragher off as the last man! Can't understand why the ref gave a foul against JT when he flicked the ball towards Drogba........ But how f**king sweet to score in the last seconds with an own goal infront of the kop instantly shutting up their sickening singing

Well hopefully the team will be right up for it, going out to them twice at this stage should be more than enough motivation for the players to go out and try their hardest to do them. 100% commitment and positive attitude is needed, closing down and a hunger to get on the ball......

I think Carvalho will be able to keep hold of Torres tonight... Just for once though in these games would be nice to see us take it to Liverpool. Still doubts over so many players tonight, and key ones too Drogba, Lampard and Ballack!! It is looking like Lamps and Drogba will be OK but will they be fully prepared? What are the chances of us actually running riot and winning by a few goals enough to end the tie???

No player is going to sit at a news conference and say that things are not good in way whatsoever!! Well here we are again! Another day of another Champions League semi final against bloody Liverpool. The big tension comes in the second leg but this game is very very important.....lets hope we just go out there and do justice to ourselves!!!

More likely to be the ref than that group of thieving c**ts!!! We have been our own undoing in the last 2 CL games. Far too cautious and allowed the scousers to dictate the pace and we worked on the basis of holding on and countering...

I doubt it. Jose would rather say nothing at all about something like that than lie about it, especially if the complete opposite was the truth. Although he has only mentioned Kenyon (who it is well know was right behind Jose and against him leaving) and Roman. Could it be that Jose blames someone(s) else for what happened??

lol.... Yes i think Gerrard is a card away from a suspension. And a couple others too, you can pretty much gurantee then that they won't pick up a card!!!
