How does Chelsea stand in your country?
didierforever replied to Yeboii's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
not very good i would say. majority are united , arsenal fans. whereever u go there is no shortage of glory hunters so barca, united take the cake there. but the true fans i ve seen all around the cricket in the bare minimum football/sports pubs we have here, its mostly united n arsenal. but football's popularity in general is increasing day by day and that means increase in number of fans. -
some people here keep remarking that he scores when he gets "service". is a striker's role only to score when he gets "service". what are we supposed to do? the guy has no work rate and only does bare minimum and people say he is making the appropriate runs (bullshit). and when he gets the ball, every bloody person in the world knows whats gonna happen. i even feel some of even our players stop attacking to get into their defensive duties because even they know the bloody result of giving torres the ball. the worst part is yet to come. HE IS NO THREAT. while watchin a match with many of my buddies (manu, barca and pool fans), they simply started laughin when torres gets the ball in a normally dangerous situation, knowin that until this guy is involved nothin is gonna happen. i would very much danny instead of the zombie in blue dress.
-
a very easy solution to every problem related to torres. SELL HIM FOR WHATEVER AMOUNT ANY CLUB WOULD PAY AND THEN BUY EITHER FALCAO/CAVANI.
-
i wanna see this line up please cech iva cahill luiz cole romeu mikel oscar mata hazard sturridge(if fit)/moses i would choose iva over cesar for the physicality n aerial challenge of stoke. same reason of mikel. if we play torres against these guys it will be another day of playing 10 vs 11 with a ref and a zombie in blue on the pitch. if sturridge is fit he deserves a start otherwise i have heard moses can play as a CF so that is good enough for me. i definitely predict a chelsea win as we played really good football with the only problem being defensively and i dont expect even some1 like mikel to make 3 defensive errors in 3 fucking matches (qpr- zamora, and juve).
-
moses is good enough in defending and tracking back plus hazard always drifts to the left so let him start there itself. as i see it while defending we can easily change to 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 (moses n hazard falling back on the wings). plus i feel this team would be way more hungrier than the team we are gonna play so that will compensate a little for the inexperience.

cech avpili cahill luiz cole romeu oscar moses mata hazard sturridge is what i wanna see. but we all know what we are gonna get, right?

Your strangest celebration to a Chelsea goal?
didierforever replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
i live in a hostel where we got a common room with a tv. football is normally not an extremely popular sport here but that night (u guessed it right, barca v chelsea), their would have been about a 100 people in a room of 50. i being one of the only 3 chelsea fans in the hostel was sitting right in front and was getting pounded n taunted n jeered hard by "barca fans" (had never seen them before). 2-0 down, jt sent off , it dint look good. then came one of the best moments of my life. ramires out of nowhere scored that brilliant gem of a goal. i was shouting and jumping around like mad, stamping on people and then i tore my chelsea jersey right thru the center. believe me i still have it as i feel its my lucky jersey and had it sewn back. also wen torres scored in the extra time it was fantastic as every anti barca (a lot of united fans) participated in the celebration but the rami goal was something different. another of my mad celebration was DD's goal against tottenham, wigan(2010 last match of the season) when i really wanted DD to get the golden boot. but nothin compares to rami goal. -
Thoughts on the match. 1. Torres: Not everything revolves around you, Nando. Storming off the pitch as 28 year old is unacceptable. You cannot do that, I don't care if you're John Terry or Islam Feruz, you don't storm off the pitch. You're a great player, but just because times aren't the best or tactics aren't fitting you that doesn't mean going straight to the locker room is acceptable. You made some great runs and had a few goes, but you were below par. You should be benched for the next game due to this action. 2. Moses - Our best RW at the moment. Played for 20-30 minutes or so and was sensational. Never made a mistake and was very crisp with his touches and movement. Released a great shot that was saved by Cesar and a wonderful cross to Hazard, who blasted it over. Moses is a great signing and has shown that he deserves a spot in the team. 3. Ramires: Not a RW, he's a midfielder and his stats showed that he is one. He played as a RW a few times last year and was impressive, but he is still not a RW like Moses or Sturridge. We must play him in a more central position. 4. John Terry and Cole: Good performances from our Captain and Left back. Showed that no matter what they're dealing with off the field, they bring their best game on the field. Praise for these men should be at a high. 5. RDM: Too defensively minded and too narrow. Poor lineup as Moses was left out.Sturridge should have been brought in earlier. 6. Lampard and Mikel pairing: Horrendous pair, it was like "watching a tragedy movie for 90 mins" (quote from Twitter) and the user is right. They are not the pair we should use. They both either attack together or defend together. One should sit back while one attacks, always. Romeu-Lamps, Meireles-Lamps, Oscar-Lamps, Essien-Lamps would be great pairings, but 2 of those can't be achieved. Need a better pair there. 7. Sturridge: Danny deserves a spot in the XI or at least more playing time. He was much better than Torres, today and played in his natural CF position. He certainly can perform as a winger, too. 8. Bertrand: Strictly a left back, RDM's obsession with making him a LW is a poor one and he should keep Ryan as a back-up to Cole. 9. David Luiz: Calmer than ever and playing great in the back, but Gary Cahill is still the better of the two and has a better relationship with JT. Cahill and JT work perfectly together and both know their place. Luiz is calm, but still makes those mistakes that cost us. 10. Romeu and Oscar: Should get more playing time. They both are eager to play and are full of skill and talent. Failing to play them is a bad way to do things at the Bridge. Both are composed and mellow with the ball. They don't make many errors and could replace Mikel.

he is a defensive coach. plus he has won the 1st 3 games with this "tactics" so u cant say it has not worked. he knew that the handshake thing was gonna cause some bad blood and it would not have been a pretty match, so if i was the chelsea coach even i would not have played oscar today. probably moses should have played but people who were asking for oscar to start would have been really disappointed. so i think we are goin overboard in critisizing rdm.

Chelsea could tour India in 2015
didierforever replied to coolhead23's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
god bless whoever proposed this... -
mata. he is goin to stay with us for 10-12 years and he is the only one that i can see wearing the blue for that long and staying a success. cahill is not as good a defender as terry and dont see him being anywhere as influential as jt or what i expect mata would be.

Champions League Squad Released
didierforever replied to unclezillion's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
good attacking squad. hope we can get to semis because it defense just seems a bit weak if we have to play a club like barca, real, bayern, united. -
the magnitude of the stupidity of this move is well... IMMENSE. still dont understand the thinking process here. y would we let him go? surely there has to be some1 lined up in january.
-
he will surely be missed and every1 who used to go "oh no, meireles is starting this match", will also soon realise so.
-
my first love in football (until the true love DD ). Would love ballack in blue again.
-
what an idiot.
-
will be really disappointed if we dont get 3 points. plus i hope we play this cech cesar cahill luiz/jt cole romeu raul moses mata hazard danny should leave out lamps-mikel for the juventus and stoke game.

i had avoided most of the threads of this forum for the last 24 hours. but now that i have read it, let me say this - WE ARE THE SADDEST BUNCH OF FANS. we dont deserve the club. we lose one match and want rdm to be sacked. rdm maybe a guy who likes to play safe and when his tactics worked last week against newcastle, he was awesome but wen it dint he "sucks". 2 faced fans.

GET HIM!!!! PLEASE!!! FOR A YEAR, 6 MONTHS. drogba released by shanghai means he will come back to europe and play for some big club and i dont wanna see that happen. PLEASE
