makes sense. but the contract expiring next may is one of the reason y i wanted him to go. y are we letting every1 go on a free transfer.
-
oh so moses is wigan's best player so they should charge 30m for him, right? hulk might be porto's best player but their tag of 60m is RIDICULOUS. for heaven's sake united bought persie for 24m, some1 who is tried n tested in epl( even thought the comparision is not valid as rvp had only 1 year on his contract) but the thought of hulk being anythin more than 30m is unthinkable. so yes there is obvious hate for porto because they are not being REASONABLE with their demands and simply driving us to the point of desperation. also he might not be up on ebay with this pricetag but so many articles and rumors have got to have a base of truth. if u dont belive the media on this then y belive the media on anythin? how do u even know that we are chasing after hulk because of media speculation. also these speculation do seem to be valid as we were willing to pay upto 35m (i think) at one point of time when the deal seemed to be just days from over but if it has fallen apart so drastically it has to be either because of porto's stupid demands or we pulled out of it. i would rather think it was the former than the latter.
-
love this guy but he really needs some anger management classes. played against wigan and was suspended, deserved to be suspended against pool in the 4-1 defeat for elbowing carrol and now a straight red, if this goes on and we may have to buy not just cesar but also a cb because iva gives us that freedom to play with 3 natural cbs in the squad as he is their to fill the shoes of the 4th one.
-
hahahaha... but on the serious note y could not we give a chance to sam rather than paulo.
-
hutch gone and ivanovic looking to be red carded everytime he is on the pitch i think this deal should be done very soon.
-
damn shit... this means another season of ferreira.
-
60m price tag... never gonna happen. porto are a fucking piece of shit.
-
cant belive this thread is still alive..
-
i would say not a bad game. ivanovic's tackle was the changing point which gave city the impetus to fight back. luiz's positioning was bad for the 3rd goal. after being a man down we would normally have parked the bus with a 1 goal lead but for some reason we seemed reluctant to do. but still it was good to see the blue character that was still pretty evident.

well all of us have the right to think that we are right and smart people who know so much about everything. so believe me, i too dont wanna have a shouting match over it to tell u how completely wrong u might be. -
yes we are getting off topic but that is because the signin seems to be almost done and dusted.also i feel we would play around mata with him being the center of the attack and every1 feeding off him. so its hard to see oscar taking the cam role.
-
y not hazard mata marin/rambo. playing oscar as cam in his 1st season in epl seems to risky.

okay. then lets just agree to disagree. but again u dont get the point i was making dude. also dont care if i demeaned him and his acheivements because as i see it, both the ucls barca won, they hardly deserved it. i dont have to explain y i think so as it is pretty obvious. -

u dint dude but its a rhetorical question for the thread. read the next 5 words too. it says "people think". its a general statement for the consensus that is going on and that is what i have been telling you. some people can be extremely self-obsessed. -
have not westbrom already got 3 or 4 strikers? i would hate for lukaku to have a similar experience as josh. that would really blow.

the idiot statement was made for some semia guy who quoted u saying something about fucking morons. so know the whole story before judging and calling people hypocrites when u urself act like one. i make a comment saying idiot, and u go on your high horse but wen some1 agreed with u and called others "fucking morons", u had no problem with it. so please know thyself. as for the argument y do u want pep to be chelsea's coach because people think that he was the architect of barca as we know it now and he has that magic touch to make any team win. but my point is that he might not be the guy with the midas touch but just a good coach who got extremely lucky. i dont know what u mean by saying that how i infered what from what but all i want and wanted to say was the above line. -
7? who? benayoun and malouda should hardly be counted, kakuta might be sold so moses does not seem so bad. plus he is a squad buy and i would say a pretty decent one. look at cahill, every1 seemed to think he ll be no good but look at him now.

its my opinion. every post in thread cant have a positive remark or a "oh wow that would be great" or a "oh great i just came in my pants thinkin about it".. i simply feel pep is not great, he is a good coach who did the needful but it was actually the players who deserve the credit and won it. plus we got ourselves a new coach who has been a former player too and we are fantasizing about dumping him to the assistant manager position to some1 who has no links to this club. so i stand by my first comment "it would be a disgrace to rdm".. -

exactly. 3 of the greatest players of this era from their own youth academy, name any other team to have the likes of messi, xavi and iniesta. but some idiots just wont accept it. -

do u mean to say that the assistant coach wont be able to win anything with the barca squad. pep won because of the great players he had not because of him being the manager. infact he was the reason that barca had an off time last season(if u can call that). any1 with the basic knowledge of football could have seen and predicted that fabregas wont be a good fit into the barca team but pep not only bought him for 40m but changed the entire way the team was shaped and played and that was what ultimately cost them. also do u actually think that pep can do with the current chelsea squad what he did with the barca squad? every team has its constraints and so do we and so does barca. if barca start playing normal football and start conceding 10 corners a match then they will concede about 3 goals. hence the brand of absolute attacking and possession football. Pep did make the team with his philosophy of total football but if he dint have the players for it then it would have been shit. having players like xavi, iniesta and messi have made barca what they are today not having a coach like pep. by the way 2008-09 semis against us, 2009-10 inter match, 2010-11 arsenal fiasco (persie red, really?), 2011-12 milan legs and u say there was no cheating involved. co-incidence and luck have a limit too. favouritism to barca from the refrees and uefa is pretty evident. so i dont care if people hate chelsea fans, i am only stating the facts. -

didierforever replied to Swoopz's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
a disgrace to rdm. nothing more. pep is nothing but a cheator and that too a lucky one. the only reason barca is so successful is because of the likes of iniesta, xavi, messi, all in the same team. even the spanish national team has won everythin so why not consider del bosque as a godly coach? if pep tried his philosophy of football used in barca to any other team it would be a total disaster and that is one of the reason he dint sign a contract for us, because believe me we would have gone all guns blazing for pep with a 200,000 pound a week salary and bonuses and promises of no interference and all the shit but the truth is that even pep would know that he would be a failure elsewhere so dint take the job.
