lukaku was actually good today and most of the people who saw the match would agree. the point of playin ferreira and yossi is to see if they can have any value addition over the course of the whole season(which is looking less and less unlikely). we dont need another cf as sturridge too is their.

he had an off day. what u gonna do? sell him? or just sack rdm for not being able to get 100% out of hazard. and yes it is a pre-season match about whom no one cares, atleast not as much as the way the other team was playing. fans might be travelling to watch the team but i am sure they know what to expect when it says pre-season FRIENDLY.

could have taken a shot or if i remember correctly tried to just square it to either piazon or hazard who had made runs. but to pass it at half way line was stupid but who cares, its pre-season.

what the hell's your problem dude. its a pre-season against an all star team of a league regularly said to be shit compared to european leagues. it meant way more to them than to us. we played the match like a pre-season while they played it like a proper match, that is y the level of fight of players was so evident. so relax and stop stupid posting.

i dont say we should shoot him or hang him, but lets be reasonable guys, HE HAS TO GO. we have to offload him. if bertrand,a left back, had to start in a champions league final(which was his debut) as a left winger inspite of malouda being fit and healthy, it just shows us how useless he is for us. he will occupy a space for a foreign player, he will mininize the already few chances for the youngsters like piazon or kdb or kakuta plus his wages have got to be immense. what is even more suprising is we let kalou go and not him yet.

he is coming back to his old self, it would be stupid of us to sell him with his last 2 performances. keep him till jan, see if he is uninjured and how good he is playin, but for now, gotta keep him.

just saw the match and i dont understand some of the posts about lamps-mikel. are people here crazy. this is just pre-season, plus this pair has already proven the kind of stability they can give. also i thought essien was awesome. he pretty much controlled the game and we can start to see some shades of the old essien. kakuta was poor but give him time till end of pre season to prove otherwise offload him. piazon,marin and rambo really impressed but lukaku needs some experience which again puts us in a dilemma, can we go in the season with only 2 strikers (both very unreliable) in torres and sturridge. i was very much against getting hulk but think we need him niw.

HE WAS OUR PLAYER OF THE SEASON... if anythin this guy is underrated rather than hyped/overrated. and if u r talking about this forum then he will defintely be praised more than any1 because he was our best player in the season. some1 who we completely depended and relied on. he had 54 appearances just 2 less than petr cech. do u have any idea what this stat means. dont forget he missed the first3 or 4 matches in the start of the season too. tell me what did david silva do in his 1st season. i think some people on this forum just wanna get quotes so simply post stupid things.

mata was quite good at LW, but he was pretty isolated the whole season tryin to conjure up something. with hazard coming in he will get that support and i can seriosuly see torres scoring a no. of tap-ins. as for who plays where, mata central, hazard LW simply because mata lacks that pace that hazard has and also because to get a know hom of the physicality of epl, hazard will start as LW. another thing that hazard's inclusion has done is, it will make us a predominantly left sided attack, hence to balance it (as the holdings would have to get a lot more leftish to cover for mata n hazard), we ll have to keep a good defensive RW and ramires fits it perfectly.

sending him for a loan would be one of the stupidest thing we could do.

lukaku is a good striker and very drogba-ish in his way of play but the lad needs to learn team work more than any shit. first of all he gave that fa cup statement saying i dont wanna hold the cup and today after marin scored instead of celebrating he was sulking as he was not given a pass(just noticed this in the highlights).

its just pre season friendly and that too just 1 match but these are somethings which seem clear 1. benayoun and malouda should be sold. i dont see the point of letting kalou go but keeping either of these 2. we have plenty of players to make up for them; marin,hazard,mata,kdb,rambo and whoever we are looking to buy. even danny can play in the wing. what happens if we keep a player like malouda is that when it is time to give a chance to youngsters people often go for lesser risk and take to experience. 2. essien does not need to be sold. he might not be back at his best but he played well and considering that this was just a pre-season friendly, i would think that he was playing at his 80% only, which is a good sign for us. 3. people who want mikel to be sold off should shut their mouths and just look at the cl final. 4. we need a new right back. ferreira is past.

if kdb needs a loan spell then so does malouda, so did kalou for the last 2 seasons. pls dont loan him just because he is young.

hulk is not a winger, he played as a striker for brazil and thats his main position. its us chelsea fans that purely see him as a rw.schurlle is a striker/winger jovetic and cavani are strikers too. so u can see a trend. these might be just rumors but there has to be some truth behind them. also belive me when i say this that i would love sturridge to have a big part too(u can see my comments on hulk's page 211/212) but unfortunately our ideas count for shit. before the end of transfer window we are going to buy a striker, and i just want that to be cavani.

oh so now every1 is concerned about sturridge? not when we were going gung ho about the hulk deal? what then about sturridge? also we have been linked with hulk, cavani, schurlle, jovetic, which simply means we dont have full faith in torres or simply put we dont wanna put all our eggs in one basket. so among all of the above mentioned cavani is my choice, what the club intends to do with sturridge, well u should ask them.
