I kniw that. Almost everyone knows that. But a player like zouma is probably going to be a massive player for us next season. While writing down the potential squad for next season I have to very much include him in the scheme of things.I can say that our 7th and 8th defender spots might go to under 21, our 5th CM spot might go to under 21, and the 6th Am spot might go to under 21. But while explaining the squad and the need to not buy a new CB, I HAVE to write down zouma and include him. And that is precisely what I have done above.
-
Technically those 2 things might be different but the philosophy of our club is quite clear on that. 8 spots to be filled somehow by HG or under 21 players. Right now we havr just 2 sure-shot HG players (JT-GC). Ifullly expect 3/4 spots to go as under 21 spots.
-
fine then dont fill those slots. like we do each year with the CL spots. like we did this year with the mvg slot, salah slot, ake slot, kalas slot this year 1. Petr Cech 2. Branislav Ivanovic 3. Ashley Cole* 4. David Luiz 5. Michael Essien 7. Ramires 8. Frank Lampard* 9. Fernando Torres 10. Juan Mata 11. Oscar 12. John Mikel Obi 14. Andre Schurrle 15. Kevin De Bruyne 17. Eden Hazard 19. Demba Ba 22. Willian 23. Mark Schwarzer 24. Gary Cahill* 26. John Terry* 28. Cesar Azpilicueta 29. Samuel Eto'o 34. Ryan Bertrand* Under 21 Players 16. Marco van Ginkel 33. Tomas Kalas 46. Jamal Blackman in short 5 HG players and then 3 under-21 players. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3448194/title/squad-lists-announced infact i dont even understand the problem... we do the same exact thing that u said every year!!!!!

the player in question is someone who has had a bad relation with the club. has done some disrepectful things to our legends and is a cunt by nature. their are players like lamps, JT, DD which form the image of the club and then their are playters like cunt fiberglass who are anything but chelsea. if football was won barely by signing players in their prime then i am suprised that why barca went trophyless. team like ATM won the liga and reached the final of CL beating the team in which the player in question plays. money is just one part of the solution. the player himself should bleed blue. he should give his all for the club. unfortunately since fifa/fm cant simulate THAT part of the game, people simply take that to be the best possible solution these days.
-
under21/HG!!!! 8 players that have to come under that criteria!!!
-
??? what? his first season (2010-11) was average where he struggled to find his feet but that was acceptable since almost every player would struggle. his second (2011-12) at 3rd season (2012-13) were very good and good respectively. only this season (2013-14) has been poor. he has already spent 4 seasons.

we dont really need a back up CM. a world class CM like pogba and we are set. (matic, pogba/vidal, rambo, mvg, chalobah). more than enough depth to play with their. last season we had just cole with bertrand barely playing a match or 2 and then he was loaned out. expect something similar. CB - JT, GC, IVA, Zouma RB - azpi. IVA LB - RR, azpi with some squad options like maybe pva and ake/kalas just in case. no need to buy a 3rd choice LB. buying another CB is simply overkill. no need. all in all GK - courtois, cech, blackman* defenders - GC*, JT*, iva, azpi, RR, zouma*, pva*, ake/kalas* CM - matic, new Cm, rambo, mvg, chalobah* Ams - hazard, oscar, willian, schurlle, salah, piazon/traore* strikers - costa, lukaku*, torres/ba. * = HG (all in all 9 players just in case we replace chalobah with tiago). all in all we will have 3 new players coming in plus 2 loanees who will play a massive part plus a couple of loanees as a youth/squad option. the last season was a transition season which most of us neglected or simply refused to believe. from the start of the last season to the start of the next season (2 transfer windows), we will have changed 10 outfield players along with 2 keepers so 12 players all in all. mata kdb, essien bertrand luiz etoo cole lamps mikel torres/ba hilarious schwarzer but the next season, jose will start with pretty much the squad he WANTS rather than the squad he GOT.
-
so this is what we have come to. letting a legend like lamps go and buying a cunt like fiberglass.
-
a hypothetical situation which has almost 0% chance of turning into reality!!! logically, both tiago and lamps together makes 0 sense. it will put us alongside the best. despite of playing a makeshift striker (schurlle), makeshift DM (DL), and a makeshift LB (azpi), that too away in paris and yet we were able to reach the semis plus we dint even have matic available. right now we are looking to strengthen those 3 positions. we will be there-therabouts.
-
and then their was a guy who just yesterday was blaming JOSE for not selling torres. who the fuck in their right mind would buy him and even pay him to play!!!!!!
-
if we are actually signing filipe luis for 20mil, then i would rather that we go for shaw. higher ceiling, longer duration, definitely would be more worth the money and most importantly HG.
-
i love rakitic and would love to see him here. but in reality, he is not a jose player.
-
they paid 28mil for fellaini... did u still have doubts if they were stupid or not!!!
-
precisely my point in the first post where i asked HOW?either lamps or tiago will be in the squad, having both makes no sense. and that was my main point. they simply cant be independent. as for rambo, he had a hopeless second half of the season and but he is still a beast. our home match against city in which he literally kept toure in his pocket is proof enough. but i agree on u saying rambo as a season long CM is not good enough, but the C list u provided a post or 2 before would make him exactly that. in my opinion, rambo as a 3rd choice CM would be perfect. as for purchasing a WC CM wont get us right up there, think what not purchasing a WC CM would do. a season full of a broken pivot as u said!!!
-
^this. lamps is a legend but this obsession is insane. people want lamps to get a contract extension even if it means us being in a worse position than last season in terms of CM options. what i find funnier is people actually want to buy a new CB like varane/benatia to replace luiz when he has already being replaced by zouma but they dont want a new CM!!!!
-
so because one vidal would not make us one of the best teams in the world, we should simply go into the season with CM options of matic, rambo, mvg, tiago and lamps??? i seriously dont understand what u r trying to say. i mean do u actually WANT nad THINK that jose would go into the season with those 5 as our CM options. also, i dont think we need more than 2 CM to make us one of the best teams in the world. rambo would be a brilliant 3rd option CM but to have him starting all of the games and play 90% of the minutes possible is where the problem lies. i think even 1 WC CM would make us a much better team and right up there with the best.
-
It might not be world class but atleast 10 times better than having 2 33+ year olds as squad options and a 21 year old mvg who barely played anything last season along with a first team pairing of rambo-matic. Its like we will be replacing luiz and mikel from last season with mvg and tiago. Is that even an upgrade. Luiz's dynamism was important and mikel was good in closing games and while defending deep. A player-x namely vidal would make us one of the best teams. A first team pivot of matic-vidal or a 3 man midfield against big teams of vidal-matic-rambo would probably be brilliant. Lamps is a legend and no one in his right mind would say anything else. But the obsession of lamps to stay another year and go out on a high might end up costing us rather than helping us. We should be looking to better the squad and our options from previous year, which having tiago and lamps simply doea not.
-
matic, rambo, TIAGO, mvg, LAMPS. i dont think jose will even consider going into the season with these options. nothing short of suicide in my opinion.
-
neither koke nor pogba are worth 50mil. we can get a lars bender for close to 20mil. he is quite good. defensively is sound. workrate is great. technically he is not as good as those too but a definite improvement on rambo.
-
so basically ATM will lose costa, thobaut, luis, thiago, koke and probably miranda. shame!!!!! good for us though!!!
-
and how just jose show balls exactly? should he insist on some team to buy a useless striker for a huge wage of 10mil a year? do u even know the financial impact of a torres sale. if a team buys him even for 10 bloody million (who the F do u think would do that), we still lose 8mil on that sale thru FFP. add to that the fact that no team in the world would want to pay his massive 10mil a year salary, we ourselves would have to compensate some of it, which just add to the losses already. so what exactly should JOSE do here!!! really want to know!!!!
-
just going by this season. dont know what he did the season before to get a value of 34mil. but this season he has been a piece of shit!!!! would rather hope for mvg to get that oppurtunity.

32 of his goals have come in PL in 74 appearances. a very good return for any striker. he is the 3rd highest goal scorer in PL in the last 2 seasons. or rather in terms of minutes, he has played 4766 minutes to score his 32 goals which is 149 minutes per goal (which includes his 10 appearances for chelsea too) rooney's 44 goals in PL came in 132 appeareances. 2002-03 :1610 2003-04: 2442 2004-05: 2182 2005-06: 3072 an overall of 9306 minutes for 42 goals (since his last 2 goals may have come in 06-07 season where he turned 21) at an average of 221 minutes per goal. the stat even for PL is as good as it gets for romelu. for messi 2004-05 : 82 (1) 2005-06 : 909 (6) 2006-07 : 1995 (14) 2007-08 : 1998 (10) 2008-09: 2513 (23) which means a total of 54 goals in 7497 minutes at an average of 139 minutes per goal which is better than lukaku's 149 minutes per goal but since the comparision is with the world's best player, we can probably give him that leeway. lukaku has performed at every stage that he has been given. he has scored goals and played well whenever called upon. saying "most of his goals were in the belgian league" is a slap to his acheivement. @skipper - half of his goals would be in the belgian league but even if we take them out, he still has a fabulous record. leading a team like anderlecht at an age of 16 and 17 is no small task. he even scored goals for them and that is what caught our eye.
