Learn to read. Tell me ONE SINGLE TIME if I have said that this is a RoMAN SIGNING. I dare you. EVEN once. If u can't then stop spreading bullshit about other posters and mind your own fucking business. As for not a JOSE type player. Most people have the same doubts. And that's the reason people are already talking about us switching to 4-3-3 cos fiberglass does not exactly fit the bill. But who am I talking to. U would probably read something else of what I wrote and theb accuse me of saying that the board forcing jose's hand.

he gave a PC before the chelsea-barca semi in 2012. thats where he said it,

every player we buy supposedly is earning 10mil a year. torres, hazard, terry and now fabregas. even costa is rumored at about 9mil a year. makes me wonder how our wage bill keeps reducing. infact http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/17/chelsea-set-to-offer-diego-costa-giant-250000-a-week-salary-at-stamford-bridge-4701974/

nope. i was never on board with the transfer. never made any sense to me what so ever. people were in love with the idea of getting one of the most popular players in the world (which somehow he still is!!! i still remember the "he will score next game" or "he will play better next game" phase, which turned into the "give him a pre-season to play with the team". after he was started ahead of DD by AVB at the start of the 2011-12 season, i was ridiculed and abused was questioning that by many posters here. i dont know how people saw him as a good fit but i think they were simply blinded by torres-love. torres was PL proven but he was already on the decline. he was poor for a couple of seasons. a 50mil fee for a mentally week and pussy like torres was always going to be a massive detterent. more than anything, it seemed like the weight of the transfer fee itself was a taking him down. costa is a completely different player to torres. he is a fighter. his contribution to the team is way more than just scoring goals. u simply cant have a no-balls like torres leading your line when u r trying to fight for PL and CL. cos over the course of 38 matches, the striker will have a barren run, in which torres' contribution is zip. as for costa having just 2 prolific seasons, i think it does not matter. not every player has to be a lukaku or a rooney who is tipped to be the "next best thing" since 16-17. i dint see costa before the last 2 seasons. but after watching him for 2 seasons, i and anyone who has done that can vouch for the fact that he is a brilliant player, someone who will complete us.

WHAT?????????????????????????????????? HOW???????????????????????????? how is fabregas going to play RW for us? fabregas will be our second pivot player and a direct competition to rambo. even if we go 4-3-3, we will play hazard-willian on the wings with salah-schurrle as the back ups, while matic, rambo, cesc, mvg, oscar as the CM options. how does it even make sense to say that willian will be affected if cesc joins!!!!!
-
the first comment on the page itself clearly says that. sheva was a "flop". admitted. i can understand people being scared thinking about him. but comparision with torres is just not fair. torres was NEVER a chelsea player. it simply was not in his DNA. he is a pussy. he is not the player who would fight it out for the club. the torres transfer was a fiasco, which simply was wrong for all the parties involved. still remember we started the match against liverpool playing with torres-DD-anelka. how do u expect that to work out. no balance. no gameplan actually. add to that, his first match itself was against pool. the transfer simply was WRONG from each and every perspective. costa on the other hand, seems a good fit. it is not a panic buy like torres was or a ROMAN buy which sheva was. it is a buy which JOSE and the board have had a year to think about and agree on. the dynamics are different, the situation is different.
-
all you have to do is read thru the last 3/4 pages... costa is already a flop cos torres and sheva were a flop..
-
you have no idea of what is still to happen. can u even imagine the reaction when costa starts his first match and does not score a goal??!!!! gonna be epic!!!!
-
one down (costa), 2 more to go (CM and LB). plus one of the most important things to do this transfer window is to get rid of torres!!! come on JOSE!!!
-
precisely. they were predominantly counter attacking. they killed games, something which we were not able to do. with a striker we might end up scoring 3/4 but it wont be due to not being solid defensively. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/15926-tiago/?p=913518 yes, i rate rakitic very highly but like for fabregas, i dont think he is a JOSE player. believe me its not ONLY cos i hate him personally. i still think that getting fabregas cos he will make us more attacking and adventorous is a slightly wrong opinion. for eg - when etoo was playing well, we dint have to look at rambo's performances and say, he is not creating enough. we had a major striker problem last season, something which i expect to change this season. AMs to get more space to run into, better finishing, taking off half chances, infact the striker himself being a major part of the play which torres and ba simply never were. i am not saying that we dont need a better CM than rambo, we definitely do, but a pogba/vidal/koke is a better option even though they might not be as good as cesc as an attacking player.
-
we are 1-0 up at HT away to swansea, u expect us to go and attack the pool way? the "gameplan" will still be to get a goal, defend the lead and hit on the counter. this season, we failed to kill off games and sometimes it cost us, next season we might score plenty cos of greatly better strikers, but the strat will still be the same!!!
-
jose is STILL building a team. building our IDENTITY... we dont have one like barca, RM or saf's united. jose WILL NOT change the way he so clearly wants us to play cos we are buying fabregas. jose dint simply just go and get goals. that is a very wrong way of putting how awesome RM were that season. they let in a total of 32 goals while scoring 121. its not like they let in 50 goals. jose's teams are based on solid defences and a solid base, RM had that, for that season. plus this is PL. jose is not naive as wenger or rodgers to try and outscore teams. it simply is not his way.
-
what people are neglecting to see is that we are not as good in defence as we are being made out to. its our style of play that has provided immense protection to the defence. even with costa in, we will not be a team that will be banging in 3 goals per game. our gameplan would stilll be a 1-0/2-0 proper jose win. and for that, fabregas simply does not fit the profile. as u said, their is a sense of vulnerability around him!!!
-
NOW WE ARE ROLLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON CHELSEA!!!!!!!!!!
-
poor guys. seriously getting ripped apart. costa, villa, koke, tiago, miranda, luis, courtois!!!! what a shame!!!
-
lampard has played 47879 minutes. this is the most by an outfield player in the PL history. LEGEND.
-
i think he meant that people are willing to slate and critisize jose on the smallest of nonsensical things (like his "childish PCs) and yet when it comes to discussing him and the board in the thread made for that purpose, "those" guys dont have anything worthy enough to say in this thread since all they say is shit without any real evidence.
-
NOW?? i ve been doing that for a couple of years now. infact after the club world cup final, i simply left all hope of him ever playing good for us!!!
-
my bad.He just gets on my nerves though!!!
-
even kakuta had a lot of POTENTIAL... lets try him. what you think? also kdb's potential? i would rather give mvg a real shot!!!
-
liverpool wint be looking to be PL champions next season. realistically they should be looking to consolidate, keep top 4 and give some CL experience to a very young squad and players like coutinho/sterling/sturridge/henderson blah blah blah... city has a massive chink in their armor. without YAYA they have been found wanting. wont be suprised if they bring in a new CM and porto's fernando is already being tipped to be the guy!!! but their is a difference between city's dependance on yaya and our dependance on matic. with CM options of matic-cesc, rambo-mvg and chalobah our dependance on matic comes from our options whereas city's dependance on yaya comes from his class and awesomeness!!! the more i think about this objectively, the more it seems unlikely!!!
-
@specialjuan... u wanna deal with this BUM or should i? kdb as a replacement for fabregas/pogba/vidal/koke/witsel...
-
just got a thought, what if matic gets injured for december-jan (the busiest of the months probably). a pivot of fabregas-rambo? fabregas-mvg? rambo-mvg? if we buy cesc, our system will solely be reliant on matic's fitness and form cos fabregas-rambo pivot looks worse than lamps-rambo and we all know how that turned out.

comparing fiberglass as a DLP to modric as a DLP is a slap on modric's face!!!
