Once henderson plays it to gerrard who shoots, JT blocks it brilliantly and the ball goes to halfway line to skrtel who plays quickly again and half a minute later JT blocka balo's Defenders HAVE to try and block the shots. I disagree. Schurlle is a brilliant cover for hazard oscar and willian. Most importantly, he has a knack of scoring important and vital goals. Goals which can totally change the match. Now, if we buy reus and give schurlle and any one of hazard, oscar or willian get injured, we are straight down to salah or rambo on the wings. Thats a massive step down, in my opinion.

moses played one season for us (2012-13) and was our best player in europa league. admitedly, we dont ever want to be in that competition again, but he played his part to perfection, the part of a squad player. any squad player would kind of frustrate fans. they want to show that they have the quality to make it in the first 11, additional pressure of knowing that they have no margin of error and lack of match fitness sometimes, expecting a player to bring his A game after sitting on the bench for a month. still, he showed he had what it takes to be in the chelsea squad, whats more, he was one of our best players in the 2013-14 pre-season and yet he was loaned out. and then we sell two of the players for whom he was loaned and buy an 11 million player who is in no world as good as him. after wigan, this is the only time he has got an extended run in a team, and he is showing what he is capable of. (also, i dont blame moses for his failure at pool. if u play a right winger as a CAM in a 3-4-1-2 system and play henderson on the RW, i hardly think its moses who is the main culprit).

agreed. my mistake for calling it a "luxury" buy, but even in bayern's case, it is hardly a luxury buy. ribery has not set the pitch on fire for a year now and is definitely on a decline. bernat is playing the wings (i think) and reus would seem a perfect replacement. to call them pigs for it is uncalled for.

What's even more baffling is that our options probbaly have the least average age among them, so for us to get reus is actually as much a luxury buy as any of the above. Infact if u think objectively, reus to bayern makes sense. Ribery and robben are both going to be on the wrong aide of 30 and shaqiri is not first team material for bayern.

does he play as a LB or a LW. i have seen bayern just a couple times or maybe thrice. everytime i saw them, alaba and bernat played together on the left with bernat play higher up.

Totally agree.Defensively he has not shown to be anywhere as good as azpi. If attack is the reason he shiuld be selected, then our first xhoice LB just gave a wonderful assist against pool at antsfield. Currently, we are playing our 2 best FBs.

Its shocking how under the radar both he and moses have flown. Both have been absolutely brilliant. I miss TOPTB, the person who used to say that RB was a bottom of the table or at best, mid table LB. Guess what soton is 2nd and RB has looked every bit a top top top dfender. Probably the 2nd best LB in the league after azpi. So gutted that he dint get a proper run in last season. Cole was in disastorous form and yet was played every game in the start of the season. Moreover RB looks like ajose player. Solid defender, brilliant workrate, and gives his 100% for the team every time on the pitch. Think he couls have been given the luis role this season considering luis is our 3rd choice full back, cost 16 mil and is 29 years old already. I think jose missed a step here.
