i am all for signing reus. its not the signing but the time of the signing which is bugging me. read through the pages, you will know.

hahahaha... i did notice the boos but the interview was not telecasted here. what did he say? to say murray has been pathetic is the understatement of the year. unprofessional, amateurish display of tennis by murray.
-
jose mourinho watching the murray-roger match right now.
-
and i want to bury my face in kat dennings' massive jugs.
-
when is he gonna sign a new contract?

no sales are not amortized.

the way they dealt with suarez, i am pretty sure they wont let barca out!!!

damn!!! it specifies 30th june 2014. the transfer of luiz officially happened on 13th june 2014. also, the transfer of cesc officially happened on 13th june 2014. so we will have to include it in. (http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/06/fabregas-signs-for-chelsea.html) so all calculations can be offset by 23mil (luiz 50mil - cesc 27mil). if we had not included these, we would have incurred a loss of 5mil (odd) for a total transfer activity of 37mil (60 for the 2013-14 season - 23mil for these 2 deals). this season, so far we would have spent 23mil which is still less than the previous season's transfer rate. i think we will be fine. only thing it does is make me sure of NO PIQUE. :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

makes sense. otherwise we might have been in some bother for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 monitoring period.
-
there are posters like viper and then there are posters like u!!! u know what, i have already got a warning, so dont wanna get another talking to people like u.
-
-49.4mil - 2012-13 1.4mil - 2011-12 18.4mil - 2013-14 whats our fascination with this .4??? anyways for the upcoming "monitoring period" 2012-15, we have a loss of 30mil pounds so far considering 2012-13 and 2013-14. considering the exemptions, which are 5mil per year (i think) on youth development, we still have a loss of 20mil pounds which is around 25.5 euros. the maximum loss can be 30 mil euros for this monitoring period. but the sales of luiz, lukaku will be included in the 2014-15 thing (and so far we have a net spend of 0 this season, compared to about 60mil pounds last season), we will easily clear this monitoring period too. great work by the board. absolutely awesome. COME ON CHELSEA!!!

we had a striker who scored 15+ goals for wba. the idiot shot himself in the foot.
-
fifa has rejected their appeal but now they have appealed to CAS, i think

what i think has happened is that schurlle's current rut of form has made this decision very easy for people. suddenly he has become this poor, good for nothing player. people forget how good he is and the quality he himself brings to the team. and hence people feel that the gap he would leave will be easily filled this season. in all honesty, salah, remy and a 36 year old DD are mid table PL quality players. to say baker, solanke and brown are mid table players is a massive massive exaggeration. if we cant sign him in the summer and risk losing him or we cant get a pre-agreement, then obviously we should buy him. all my arguments are considering the fact that we CAN sign him in the summer.
-
You should have started with that. Would have saved us a lot of time and discussion. Also, you have to chase a 2 goal deficit and have 90 minutes, that neans simply putting in 2/3 strikers. I am out.
-
psg, chasing the game at 3-1. U want to start with mikel, rambo and matic at the bridge? And if I remember correctly, at the bridge, we have started with 3 proper AMs against every time. So this park the bus jargon means nothing.
-
huh? lets suppose ONLY willian gets injured. oscar and rambo are fit as a fiddle. our team costa hazard cesc oscar matic rambo bench - remy, salah. and this is with ONLY 1 player injured. not 3. we have nothing to change the game with. unless we want to rely on putting in a 36 year old DD and pinting balls up to him, which is exactly what we will HAVE to do. thats how thin we get without schurrle. god forbid if even one more player gets injured. and then there is FORM. cesc is notoriously known for going awol towards the end of the season. oscar has been poor in his both the seasons with us towards the end. we have no options in that case. no depth. and my arguments are for delaying the acquisition of a world class player by 6 months, not agianst buying him. and thats a big difference.
-
and now tell me what signings city did last season? or united did in the season SAF left? or jose did in 2004-05 and 2005-06. united had a glaring lack of midfielders. they had a good dm in carrick, an aging and close to retirement scholes, a flabby anderson, an injured fletcher and lord cleverly as their options. they continously played gigs thru the center. pool were and still playing gerrard as a DM. the examples u have given are for squads which CLEARLY and definitely lacked in quality in the said positions. how does having AMs like oscar, hazard, willian and schurrle with cesc and rambo who can put in a shift if required compare to having a right back like johnson, left back like flanagan and a CB like kolo toure. these are all very different situations and scenarios dude. i dont know what happened to newcastle in 95 cos i was 3 years old then, but i the example of united and pool that u have given simply dont sit well with our conditions. the only reason we lose the PL this season is complacency. now, i am confident that we will win the league, maybe that can transcend into complacency on my part but knowing jose and his work ethic, i am pretty sure, he and the team will not be complacent until the league is done for sure.
-
thank u lord moyes!!! thank u. 10 mil for salah, and simply call back moses.
-
what are our chances of winning the PL without reus? by what percentage does getting reus right now improve our those chances. keep in mind that this is a winter transfer. people take time to acclimitize. even the best players in the world take time. how does that small percent improvement in chances in our winning the PL (for which we alreadr are the favourites), negate the total drop in our winning the CL cos we had to play salah against bayern munich cos of no depth in AM department.
-
so these are same situations? we have hazard, oscar and willian as first teamers and schurrle as back up. last season we had rambo, a 36 year old lamps and mikel as our only CM/DM options. matic was a necessity. reus is not. matic was a MUST buy who replaced essien in the squad who anyways would not have had any role in our CL campaign. 2 completely different things and scenarios. also if you read all my comments properly, i have never said, we should not buy him. but our first preference should be to buy him in the summer. get a pre-agreement. if not possible, then go all in.
-
to be honest, the highly ranked youth player seems to be nathan ake. Very suprised that baker is not on the list.
-
2004-05 : jarosik 2005-06 : maniche (on loan) 2006-07 : none 2010-11 :adebayor (loan) 2011-12 : none 2012-13 : diego lopez 2013-14 : matic and salah so jose does not really like winter signings, which is what really suprises me with people saying pique and reus and khedira and god knows who will join us. last season's matic signing was essential for the development of the team and salah was a forced buy since we sold mata and kdb. except for that, i would say only lopez was a high profile buy and that was mainly due to casillas' terrible form.

WE CAN HAVE A PRE-AGREEMENT ABOUT REUS-SCHURRLE SWAP IN THE WINTER ABOUT THEIR TRANSFERS IN THE NEXT SUMMER WINDOW. how difficult is that to happen. if reus wants to come to chelsea now, he can surely wait for 6 more months and start what he finished with chelsea. my love for schurrle is NOTHING. he is a chelsea player who can help us a lot. its your fascination for reus and having a perfect team which is totally blinding u. also, i know what league it is. its not MLS too or the ASL. u dont need to tell me about that. if we are going to drop points, so will the others. the point still remains, we will walk the league with or without reus!!! so whats the use of him, now??? here is another solution which viper put in I'm too lazy to find it but I think whoever suggested that if we signed him in a swap deal (Schurrle + cash for him) and then both players got loaned back to their respective clubs is on to a winner I think. That way BVB have been able to choose who to sell to (as the release clause isn't in effect yet) rather than letting Bayern have even a chance of luring Reus to their club but they also get to keep him until the end of the season (especially useful for their CL campaign). Not a problem for us either as we keep Schurrle as back up for our CL campaign also and know that we have a massive upgrade in Reus coming imminently. That way the transfer is finalised well before it happens, so both teams can begin to prepare for life with/without their respective players. Could very much see this happening. not bad at all. but for the last time, going into the main rounds with 3 proper AMs, is NOT the solution. actually very simple to understand it.
