  1. pretty much a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-1-1. last season it was a 4-4-1-1 costa villa koke tiago gabi turan this season they have changed just a little bit cos of a lack of a 2nd striker (usually played by either of garcia or greizemann) so you are right in saying that he operates on the wing for ATM. dont think we need him to be honest. definition of overkill.
  2. supposedly, DD had a role in getting hazard too.
  3. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Wow. What an argumwnt. Brilliant. Seems like everyone is wrong except for u, right?
  5. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/11/15/7225087/mohamed-salah-chelsea-transfer-rumours
  6. are u having problem understanding english. Yes, I did say thay salah's place should be taken ip by a HG player, what that would do is open up a space in yhe squad to either get a WC CB. The argument being, salah's role in the squad and his level is easily replacable by a moses. It was you who brought the nonHG argument for reus who is a WC player. Having a WC player take up a nonHG spot is not unheard of, u know. Infact most people would like that. And reus is not CR or messi, but he is easily the top 5 winger in the world. U can't replace That now, can yiu?
  7. reus is a WC player. u understand that? if u get a chance to sign messi, cr, vidal, bastian, bale, reus, robben then YOU DO NOT BATTER ANY EYELIDS. and reus coming in means schurrle going out otherwise it simply wont be possible for us to register all those players cos of the constraints and i will be even more happy if instead of schurrle it was salah. so you see, the HG argument DOES have a lot of weight to it. you know what, lets actually drop it. i dont know exactly what salah has done to take so much or anytime from the fans' life.
  8. so like i said, another marin situation. "lets send him on loan to regain his form and then he will come back and become messi". tired of it. how is my point about HG status a tripe? care to explain? our current HG/U-21 players are JT, GC, zouma, ake, christensen, cesc, baker, boga. in short we cant buy a good non HG CB as we dont have any space. the only 2 people who make any sense of being sold to free up that space is salah and mikel due to their contribution. atleast mikel can come in the last 20 minutes and close down the game, what does salah provide to the team that is absolutely essential? nothing.
  9. every club gives their year end, only fiscal year's record. thats how u judge how good or bad your year has been. chelsea has not made a 18.4 mil profit since 1905. thats crazy talk. we incurred 100s of millions of losses in the roman era. this just shows how the club has progressed or regressed in the last season. i dont know why you are confusing 2 different things. also, i have given you articles explaining this.
  10. hahahha... u just compared reus as a non HG player to salah as a non hg player... reus wont be our 5th choice AM, he will be a starter. a player of salah's caliber and contribution to the team and as a non HG player is what pinches not reus as a non HG player. get it???? what "glimpses" did he show? as for the "highest level", this is the highest level and he has been poor. simple question, 10mil bid for salah from say, real sociedad. would u take it or not?
  11. U have got to be kidding me. Salah had 10 pl appearamces last season. Infact cos of oscar's poor form, hazard injury and CL obligations, he started every match towards the tail end of the season. And this season, after properly settling down and jose having a proper look at salah, he has been deemed to be good enough to start only league cup match, what does that say about salah's quality in the eyes of our manager. He has been absolutely poor. Don't forget that last season azpi was benched until his brilliant performances in league cup. Now lets look at this objectively Do we have youth players with more potential than salah? Yes. Does salah himself have a massive potential. No Will salah's apparent transfer make us weaker? No. Does he even help us in hg criteria? No Well, in that case, if an offer comes up, we should take it rather than everything going down the marin road.
  12. i m sorry... but its all in the heading itself... http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/11/chelsea-fc-announces-annual-profit.html "ANNUAL" profit. if not that then This is the second profit in three years and the largest since Roman Abramovich became owner of the club in 2003. should clear it up or maybe this The £18.4 million profit follows the £1.4 million generated two years ago. Strong revenue increases as well as a significant surplus on player sales during the 12-month period contributed.
  13. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/11/13/7214597/chelsea-finances-future-ffp-fair-play everything is about the year. the fiscal year. all the data that is given is said to be for the fiscal year. the calculations done are based on the revenues for the year, the matchday revenue, the tv revenue. so how does it include the last year? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/champions-league/10676021/FFP-How-Manchester-City-and-Premier-League-clubs-compare.html this article should make it clearer. it treats the 1.4mil profit (2011-12) and the 49.4 mil loss (2012-13) per year and as separate entities. dont know why u guys are getting it all jumbled or maybe i am way way way off my mark.
  14. no no. he actually took all his chances brilliantly. he just set the pitch on fire with his unselfish dribbles and out of the world shooting. forget chelsea, he should be playing for barca, real or bayern.
  15. sorry? i thought the 18.4mil is the ANNUAL profit!!!
  16. ??? addition dude. 2012-13: -49.4mil 2013-14: 18.4mil.
  17. irrespective of whether the luiz deal was included in the said profit or not is irrelevant when talking about FFP only. i am sure, the club would have thought it through completely before doing the deal. anyways we have successfully "passed" the 1st 2 monitoring periods of FFP (2011-12 and 2012-14). for the coming monitoring period (2013-15), we currently have 2012-13: -49.4 mil 2013-14: 18.4 means we have a combined loss of 31mil pounds. for the 2 past years. we spend 8 mil on academy and infrastructure (according to WAGNH), so that takes our loss down to 15mil for FFP. 24 mil pounds is the breakeven value for this period which gives us a leeway of a 9mil + 8mil (exempted) = 17mil loss for the next season.
  18. yup. i do hate any player who is unable to help chelsea improve and win titles and make us better. torres is at the top of my hate list. and now here is a 11 million player, cos of whom we cant give time to our youth talents, takes up a non-HG spot and even blocks the path for decent players like moses. so well, yup, i want him gone.
  19. let torres be our most expensive transfer. a reminder and warning for our board that expensive is not equal to quality
  20. dont think there is ANY truth to the bale rumors. reus seems very possible meanwhile i would take varane if only to stop the idiotic pique rumors.
  21. united's defence does not need a pique. what they need is a proper leader and man manager at the back. someone who can control jones and rojo the way JT controlled DL. pique has his own problems to deal with. him in the united defence does not really improve them.
  22. you were right. the luiz deal was probably not included. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/11/13/7214597/chelsea-finances-future-ffp-fair-play
